Heyyyy - long time no see
Glad to see you are here!
Please ...
Grab an umbrella or
feel free to dance
in my down pour ...
or my scattered
thought process:
I'm kind of mixing
my theme meaning to
seague from either:
When it rains, it pours ...
to
windows of opportunity ...
Life is as twisted
as my metaphors and
their similarities here:
As bad as it seems at times
it could be a lot worse ...
And no matter how bad you have it,
You dont have to look very far -
to find someone else a lot worse off!
Sometimes it seems that
it gets darkest before the dawn
But the sun always rises ...
Yet when going get tough
the tough get going ...
Then again:
Better to run away
and live to fight another day
and when one window closes
it opens another window ...
Confusing?
I believe from the
earliest of mankind
that there are
ALL different types and
that those fables do apply
to different type of personalities.
Even the eailiest of time
folks would either provide by
Being "The Hunter"
type to traveled to provide
food & survive by being 'Nomads'
or
"The Gatherer"
(farmer) type that stayed and
made a foundation or structure that wasn't
strayed from unless necessity ...
Which brings me to this ...
When life is changing around you:
Do YOU:
Try Harder/Adjust or Hunt For instance ...
Say it's a (some what) controllable thing -
Like: Not getting along with co-workers/boss ...
Are you more than likely to
A) Try to change things via: Playing NiceB) Change things by finding a new job
Each may be determined by the circumstance of course
But just wondering if your more like myself:
Look at it as an opportunity to MOVE as a good thing
or
You are more conformable sticking it out and
like the familiarity or stability of working
things out and learning to adjust.
I think that I admire those
who are into toughing things out -
It takes fortitude and persistence and
determination and stick-to-it-nest
that I was never blessed with ...
Where I've been told by people
who is like that
(familiarity/stability folks)
That they think it's
more courageous to
leap into the unknown
than to stick with things
that you don't like ...
I guess an easy way
to look at it would be:
Some are "Grounded"
While others are "Flighty"
Where the two types
are both "restless"
One wouldn't like venturing
to the unknown -
While the other feels
there's greener pastures ...
Not JUST job-wise ...
I think a "gatherer" may be
better in relationships too!
What do you think?
Made this greeting back in the winter
Being I lost most of my stuff A G A I N
I'll probably just remake & update
a lot of my older daily greetings.
I had to change the outside from the snowy
winter scene to a more spring like setting.
And remake the shutters (removing the wreaths)
then flopped the "wrong season/wrong window" around
In all, it's still fun to just remake ...
I liked going back to my old blogs
to get idea and/or copy the codes
(so I dont have to TRY to find them)
- A G A I N -
But it's fun to see the comments from YOU
or people from that time who mysteriously
disappeared *ponders* or lost interest ...
And how much my blogs changed,
but ... I haven't ... m u c h ... *nods*
It's Hard ... that I lose focus and get distracted
(kinda like when you look threw a junk drawer)
And forget what you are looking for?
Here's said Greeting:
Good Morning!
Look out you window
What do you see?
Sorry different window ...
Umm, wrong time of the year
oops, wrong window ...
Took long enough,
now let me in - I'm soaked!
Ha-ha
Enjoy Your Day!
