So what's new with me? Well it's a new year..new beginnings (righttttttt) and so on.I've been really spending a lot of time with my Synths. I mean,I've collected enough so I figured now is a good time to put them to use.
I tracked down the driver for a old midiman usb 4x4 midi interface I have. I didn't know that M-Audio bought the company so that made searching a bit difficult. Well in any event driver installed. I traded in some old gear i had laying around and got me a nice Alesis Micron Analog Modeling Synthesizer. Wow, the sounds on this machine are , dare i say, mind altering?
I also started to use my Korg Microkorg a lot more as well. In conjunction with a borrowed guitar effect pedal (in this case a Behringer Echo Machine) I can really make some nice Drones/ Ambient effects/tunes. :)
I also obtained (hehe) a Grendel Noise Commander. What is it you may ask yourself (or not)? Here's the description :
"With a total of 9 knobs, the Grendel Drone Commander offers two manually-tuned oscillators and two LFOs, plus an unusually colorful and nasty filter. LFO1 is an analog variable-shape oscillator, and LFO2 is a pulse waveform that auto-synchronizes to LFO1 at a ratio of 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x. Both LFOs can be routed to the filter for rhythmic patterns. Six of the Drone Commander's nine knobs double as push-pull switches to control signal routing and waveform selection. A line-level output jack is provided for connection to amplifiers or effects plus there's outputs for control voltage in (controls the filter effect) and clock out for cascading other devices. The Drone Commander is housed in a military ammunition case with engraved aluminum control panel. The case is welded steel with an easily removable, rubber gasketed lid. There is almost no plastic in the Drone Commander! "

So now I have to figure out Albelton Live or just use Audacity and start recording! :)

As for my home life...there is none. I work (kinda) and then goto the gym every other day. I have ZERO social life. I'm either here (shudders) or on some other forum. Or watching netflix or dinking around on the fore mentioned synths. I need a life...have one I can borrow?
For example on New Years, I was in bed around 10 ish, watched some tv and nodded off. I know I'm a FUCKING madman. ;)
But I did a new years resolution. No more feeling sorry for myself. Nobody cares about me so I have to start caring about myself.
