A Poem I Wrote
Don't tell me you love me or how you feel,
Deep down inside I know you're not being real.
All the things I should have said, I couldn't,
All the feelings I have I know I shouldn't.
I'm a fool for you, I let my feelings take over,
Instead of keeping my guard up as a protective cover.
You live to learn and what don't kill me makes me stronger,
That's why I can't continue this confusion any longer.
I care too much and I guess that's my weak spot,
I did nothing wrong cuz I know I gave it all I got.
