Beautiful Country in the Minnesota River Valley. Winter Driving 101: When in a skid turn your wheel toward the skid; but do it gently, until you get a feel for the road conditions. They may very greatly, so be careful! NEVER press hard on the breaks! better yet don't even use them it if you have to. It is a guarantee you will be in the ditch, or in an accident!!
Note: If you are driving too fast not anticipating on how far you need to stop or slow down to make a turn, you're S.O.L.!!!
(I think the "turn toward the slide" technique works best on rear-wheel driven vehicles)
