Worldly Riches
If I had a million dollars,
And had to pay a dollar for your kiss,
It wouldn’t be long before I was broke,
But I would be in a heavenly bliss.
If I owned an oilfield,
I’d give you every drop.
As long as it would insure me,
Your love would never stop.
If I owned a diamond mine,
To you I would sign it away.
If that’s what it took for me to know,
You’d be mine until my dying day.
You see all these worldly riches,
To others may mean so much.
To me they are all just worthless,
In comparison to your touch.
