Well after everything that has happened lately I felt it was time to get away and be with someone I trust. Yesterday at 1423 I left Midland to being the Journey to see my dad and enjoy some time with him. After an almost 12 hour trip I arrived at around 0200 this morning and it was great to see my dad again. Being around my dad makes me smile and allows me a chance to relax and be myself again. Life here is so much different than things back home but it should be expected when you are in an area where things HAVE to be different for safety. I am looking forward to the next few days with him and I hope that things will be connected between us since we have never been able to really spend time together. Things seem to be looking up here and I am excited to see what happens over the next few days.
