I recently received this message from a freind,,whose nam ei will not reave becaus i dont want anyone to respond to hi negatively for the beleifs h holds.. he a combat vet.. anis entitled to his opinion.. i just as moved y the convo and wanted to share....

I am not offened.. i think we are fighting a war over oil..not terrorisumm.. we killed saddam..not osama.... i lost my freind kyle to a roadside bomb last november.. an now my brother in law, neice, best friends husband and 1very goofdfriend and several tapper freinds are overthere.. in the sand. fighting a war we will never win.. much like the war in veitnam.. i wsh there where no wars or squirmishes at all.. but that will never happen.. so as long as my family and friends put their lives on the lines for our Country and do what they think is right.. ill back them every step of the way.... and the millitary isnt all about war..its about serving our country..which i dont have to tell you about.. My brother was a marine.. my grandfather fught in germany in WW2 and my other in Hawii durng pearl harbor..greatuncle Don stormed Rommel in the desert.uncle Ty built bridges and did demolitions in Vietnam...Uncle David fought deep in the jungls of hannoi in veitnam too.... my cousins fought in the gulf and fought communisim in berlin.. saw the wall fall.. and my grandmother fled germany while her sister was captured her family was forcerced to leave her behind to perish in a concintration camp.... my aunt gerda was kidnapped by hitlers natzis and her parnts executed..while her brother was forced to becme a solder.. she and her sisters were forced to service the soldiers as nusres and sometimes concubines.... my neck is red... my blodd runs red white and blue... to all the who have fought and are still figtin a fight we may ever understand..
