Wooden Promises
Well I haven't been around the blog world in a while just because I haven't sat down to make one, I guess you could say that between work and summer outdoors stuff I make it around here long enough to pop by and say HI to various friends and make some more new ones. Then it's back to the world of mommy goes Nucking Futs!! but I still manage to keep my cool and find my house which is important to me and some fresh pair of socks to wear daily. on another note I've made a couple fishing trips so far and hope to make another one here tomorrow being 06/29/07, and hope to get my first king salmon in almost 20yrs, so please wish me luck and I will be taking a camera with me to capture that joyful moment! so until next time, Love Peace, and Chicken grease Baby!! :)

Screw This...this Relationship Is Over!
Love is so freaking over rated! I thought it was love, but I just can't do this anymore...I am breaking up with myself. I don't know exactly what happened....ya know, I knew I was needy, I just didn't realize HOW needy. I just can't deal with myself anymore...I am always constantly bugging me... that voice - as if it were in my own head - grating on my nerves. She was attacked by something (maybe another dog) and has 2 puncture holes in her bottom jaw and her check bone. She is very swollen and has a very rotten odor to her. We have since put her on a strong antibiotic and are draining the puss from her wounds a couple times a day. New Days Dawn
Well each day brings a new meaning to everyones life but to mine it shows me all of my mistakes. Letting go of those I shouldn't and pushing those away I should have close to me. yet Life goes on and it is time for me to face those facts and step up to the preverbial plate as some would say. I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...... quiet,

My Battles
ok i have to say it isnt all bad here while i recover I got some real awsome battles they are funny and fun... and we love to low crawl and play war together and do details together... my battles are to cool sleeping accross from my best battle i would do anything for she makes me laugh when i am down, oh hell thats my other one as well... there are those days that i am realy down and they are there... Just an update for people I talk to on here, according to the news reports, Saturday night, August 18th my daughter Amelia's father killed himself, by throwing himself in front of a train in Clarence, Iowa. He was 33, Amelia never really knew him, he had been gone since she was 5 months old, he never called or visited her either, now she never will know him, They are doing an investigation into his death believing it was suicide, Craig was troubled, shortly after him and I split up he was diagnosed with the same terminal illness he watched his mother die from when he was younger, when he found out he pretty much cut off all ties to Amelia. Living With It...
I saw my dad today and it has been two years. My dad has Huntingtons disease. Since it was a family reunion I was happy to see everyone. But when i walked up I saw him in a wheel chair and looking 10 years older than what he should. I thought i could keep my composure and visit with him, but when i began to talk to him I didn't get much of response just a faint sound coming from him. In two years my father went from being able to talk and walk to being in a wheel chair and only able to make just a little noise. It killed me I had to walk away and I lost it. Now I sit here trying to remember the last time I got to have a conversation with him and I can't remember what it was. Don't ever let a day go by without telling someone that you love them and keep a good relationship if you can. I am loosing my dad to this dreadful disease, just like he lost his mother to it as well. There is no cure for it and it is hereditary.............. Not sure why I wrote this, just felt I needed

Walking Through My F.e.a.r.
F.E.A.R. False Evidence Appearing Real Or so I hope it's false. Sometimes you just get a feeling in your gut that you can't shake. That you know someone is not telling you the whole truth of the matter. Omissions of the truth IS the same as not telling the truth as much as some people want to say it's not. I haven't really blogged in a while because of fear of retaliation by a certain people. Some of these people have done quite a lot to destroy aspects of my life with their own hidden agenda. I fear it may come again soon. While some won't take responsibility for their own actions, I have paid dearly for mine and theirs too. does anyone know how to prevent hackers from getting into you computer? My friend just had someone shut down all her programs and a window came up that she has never seen b4 and said they were gonna change her passwords if she didn't show them her tits. Which she didn't. Bravo Company had inserted by helicopter in two trips. The Arms room was open before the first troop got on one of the whirly birds. The Rangers fall under different rules and so they have rounds in the arms room. What good is a unit you can deploy anywhere in the world if they don’t have bullets for the fight. It does not take long to issue weapons and night vision and they are on their way. The other units are prepping and planning. My Forced Weekend
well it started good both parents there no arguing for about 5 mins... They would not let me leave for the first day and night i sat there and listened to them arguing about everything over the past 10 years and whom I was going to spend my birthday with ...wishing they would just stop yelling... isnt gonna happen....so i go in the cabin go lay down and i could hear them yelling for atleast the next two hours so i finally drift off to sleep only to dream about them yelling.. lol is there any escape... soooo the next day im thinking ok no yelling maybe they got it all out lastnight.... no such luck they start up again i get up and leave this is sunday morning mind you... i get home 6 hours later my mother calls telling me I could have atleast said good bye to them that they didnt even know i left..... of course they didnt lol and heres the best part... serves 6 2 cup unsalted chicken broth 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp ground cumin 2 tbsp pickling spice 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced 1 lbs boneless chicken breast halves 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced 2 tbsp minced jalapeno chili with seeds 1 onion, halved, thinly sliced 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves 3 large garlic cloves, minced Baked (no oil) tortilla chips boil broth and pickling spice in heavy large saucepan ten minutes. Strain and return liquid to saucepan. Add chicken, onion, vinegar, garlic, oil and cumin to pan. Simmer over very low heat until chicken is just cooked through, about ten minutes. Transfer chicken and onions to shallow dish. Top with bell peppers and minced chilli. Boil cooking liquid until reduced to 2/3 c, about ten minutes. Pour liquid over chicken and let cool 30 minutes. I finally got my wheels back. My trusty ole S-10 was laid up for over a month with a broken u-joint, which also caused damage to the transmission yoke when it broke. But, she's back in operation, and running good!!!! Will be greeeattt to have wheels again.

It's Over
So I finally broke up with my boyfriend of almost 18 months. Since we lived together for almost a year I am really hurting inside. It's been 2 days since I asked him to leave - yes it happened on Thanksgiving. I really need to know that I did the right thing... Prayers Needed For Winter...
The more prayers.....the BETTER!!! I'm a little frustrated these days... As some of you know my daughter has cancer and we spent 9 days in the hospital and came home last Tuesday. One of the things they did to Winter while we were in there (in addition to surgery #13) was a bone marrow biopsy. Well the doc said that I should have had preliminary results back before Wed of last week.......I have gone through the entire holiday weekend with NO results. I may be over reacting a bit (and I am not claiming anything) but I am concerned!!! I did some research on MDS (caused by chemo/radiation) and I probably shouldn't have. After reading some of the signs and symptoms of the disease I worry because she has some of the same (symptoms). Some of the symptoms, the docs have no explaination for which is very frustrating! My hope is that all her symptoms are a mere conincidence. According to what I read, if she does have this type of MDS, not only is it difficult to treat but it can turn into l

Update To Me
I just wanted to fill everyone in on what has been going on with me since I posted the me Blog. I had a total hysterectomy on November 20th - Not to much to say but right now I am in a lot of pain and hopefully soon all the pain will be over and done with. I haven't got much to say except OUCH! Losing My Dad
How can I put this? Earlier this year my dad had a heart attack. It triggered something that I thought I wouldn't have to face for years to come. His time here on earth is now limited. Yes I know that we all lose a loved one at some point in our lives, but to lose a dad is almost to much. Today he has to go in and get an operation to get rid of a blood clot from his leg. But there is bad news with that. The doctors told my mom that with my dad's current condition, he only has a few months to live. I have been browsing the Fubar skins for two days now. I cant see teh backgrounds when i preview them for more then half a second or so. I have only had success with my being able to see only two of them on my site.I dont know why some will show up and some wont. I have tried to rip skins and it wont work. it wont let me?? Day 2
Today went as well as yesterday! I again got a very late start (up too late posting on fubar I guess). Plus a few other little projects around the factory that needed attention first. Now, without a body.... there's not much left to the car. Four bolts and the engine and trans. come off together. I used the forklift (yes, backyard again) seeing as how there isn't an engine hoist... yet. Plopped it on the ground with some support, then started making the comparisons. The new powder coated frame is off of a '61. Still a C1, but of course, a few minor changes from the previous models. Some for the better. I'll also have to make some modifications for the roll cage. Because the front took such a hard hit, the front cross member bent, which is also the part you suspend the control arms off of. Final Knee Update
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee I graduated therapy on Thurs. Therapist said if they had a wall of stars I'd be on there. I have almost totally recovered the use of my knee. On my own I'm within 9 degrees with therapist's help got to within 2 degrees of my left knee. BUT, that isn't the only reason I'd be up there. Normally a person with total knee replacement can NOT hyperextend their knee(bend it backwards)I not only can but can get on my own within 1 degree of my left. Kept telling her may have a new knee but my joints are all double jointed lol. I still have 2 mo that I need to be doing a home program and will have to do stretching about everyday for the rest of my life, but at least I no longer need to go into their office :). I have one final Dr. visit, but he was totally impressed when I went in on the 3rd lol. For only 2 1/2 months post surgery I'm proud to say except for a few aches I'm back to normal IF I am normal lmao. Love you guys for all your support :)

PREP TIME 45 Min COOK TIME 40 Min READY IN 1 Hr 30 Min INGREDIENTS * 2 cups graham cracker crumbs * 1/3 cup white sugar * 1/2 cup butter, melted * * 30 individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped * 3 tablespoons milk * 3/4 cup chopped pecans * * 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips * 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened * 3/4 cup white sugar * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 3 eggs DIRECTIONS 1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Mix well and press into the bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Pour on melted caramel/pecan mixture and chill for 30 minutes. 2. To make the Caramel Filling: In a small saucepan, combine caramels and milk. Cook over low heat, stirring, until smooth. Chocolate Crème Brulée
6 egg yolks 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 quart heavy cream 6 ounces good quality chocolate finely chopped 1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped small amount of sugar for caramelizing recipes from historic lousiana Serves 8 to 10 Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine egg yolks and sugar in a mixing bowl. Bring cream to a simmer. Remove from heat and add vanilla seeds and chocolate. Let rest in order for the chocolate to melt. Add cooled cream mixture to sugar and yolk mixture and blend. Place mixture in ramekins then place ramekins in a bain marie (water bath). Bake for 20 minutes or until set. Remove and chill. Just before serving, spread a thin layer of sugar evenly over the top of the ramekins. Use a propane torch to quickly caramelize the sugar on top of the cooled custard. You can alternately caramelize the sugar under a broiler (watch it carefully so it doesn't burn too much)

Well I am finding my life has taken a turn that was truly unexpected. I am using words on a regular basis that I never would have thought I would ever use, CAT scan, Biopsy, lymph glands, and more. I went into the hospital in AZ when He and I went down theah this last holiday season. They found a blood clot in my neck. The problem with the whole thing was while they were all mystified with the rarity of the place of the clot they totally disregarded the swollen lymph glands. They put me on Coumidon, a blood thinner for those that don't know, and sent me home with a promise to see my own physician when I got home. I did that as soon as I possibility could and went on with my life taking the meds as I was told... well I did run out of the 'C' Coumidin while I made out my med tray the forth week back. I filled out the prescription as soon as I was able to but forgot to fill in the missed pockets of the tray... in a way it turned into a god send because the swelling in my neck increase

Lonely For Something I Forgot About...
It's ironic that I can move on every day and in hopes of finding something.. the search is never ending and the battle is stronger then ever, the desire to come ontop keeps me going.. but the irony.. is I've forgotten what it is exactly I'm searching for... I'm lonely but for what? I don't know.... So Much For Family!!!!
Well last night I went to the TOXIC TERROR TOUR at the Worcester Palladium and droped my Boost i415 cell phone in the 'pit'. No sooner did it hit the ground it dissapeared. I felt it leave my shirt pocket and seen the glow of the screen on the floor when I went to pick it up, about 5 feet away, it just vanished.
