Abusing Me
My sanity, I feel as if I'm losing it. While I'm going insane, your over here abusing it. I'm all alone, and you occupy your time, taking advantage of me being gone. I Don't
Five years ago today, my wanton breaking of the 9th Commandment came to an abrupt halt. My adulterous ways were over, thanks to the ruling of a judge. Today is the five-year anniversary of my divorce. To honor this judicious sacrament, I IMed several work friends, and we decided that the event should be celebrated with cake and booze. Night Out On The Town
It was one of those rare moments when we had no kids. We just dropped them off at the parents to spend the night. Very rarely do we ever get time alone to ourselves. Grease Monkey
I have the important job of office support staff and occasionally covering for the receptionist when she goes on breaks and to lunch. The receptionist does some things that really gross me out. I don't disrespect her as a person but I'm sure everyone has pet peeves about the people they work with. She eats potato chips all day and has to brush her seat off during the changing of the guards when she's ready to go on break. There have been multiple times that I have touched the desk and ended up with crumbs all over my hand. She also uses Vaseline as hand moisturizer. When I go to use the mouse or the phone these items are well lubed as a result of potato chip grease and petroleum jelly. Gross, right? Well, a new situation has risen. She has sparatically littered the mouse pad with enough crumbs to form build up inside the mouse. Sitting Thinking About The Songs I Put In My Stash...
i am a music nut!!! ever since i was a baby, there was always music playing some where... my mother said she had to put the radio on so i would go to sleep..gee go figure...:) i started out by putting songs in my stash that reflected the more current likes and songs that touched my heart in one way or another... Well, I think this is it. Overall, this blogging thing has been interesting. As you could probably tell, this whole thing has ultimately drained the hell out of me. It's been a good exercise, in a way. I can't write about people unless I'm comfortable being written about. And there's something to the idea that one should always act as if their words and actions will be publicly discussed the next day. The Joys Of Being A Momma
I became a mother at a very young age, which for my generation that's normal. I was just barely 18 when I had my first daughter and I had my last daughter when I was only 20. I was pregnant for nearly 3 years back to back. They are close now, more like best friends. I love that, but until they started to what little they do for themselves now my life was busy..lol! I have worked hard to show my children right from wrong and I still have a lot of teaching to do as they are still very young. The oldest is 6 then they stair step from there 5, and 4. I know that all the things I teach my children are important, thus the reason I put forth the effort. However I also know that no matter what I teach my children I can only hope that in the end they follow my instruction rather than that of someone else. New To The Truckdriver's Life
I was just wondering if there were any other ladies out there that have boyfriends/husbands who make their living driving trucks. My husband is a long distance team driver. I finally get to home today after 6 long ass days in the hospital. I had MRSA for those of you who don't know what that is its a really bad staph infection, that could potentially can cause death, or the amputation of my leg. But I'm strong willed and i prevailed the worse. I get to go home and see my kids, but the downer is that i can't hold them for a whole other week due to the contact of infecting them with my infection. But GOD its goin to feel sooo damn good to be home and actually eat regular food, take a shower with my body wash instead of the generic shit, and just to be able to be around friends and family instead of being in ISOLATION and having everyone think your a freak of nature, all because you have an infection that is only contagious from skin to skin contact. Woman killed in Lawrence County crash Wednesday, September 24, 2008 By Daniel Malloy, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette A woman was killed when the car in which she was riding pulled out into the path of a tractor-trailer in Lawrence County last night. Northwest Regional Police Chief James Morris said Whitney Jo Maguire, 21, of Ambridge, died in the crash shortly before 7 p.m. at Routes 551 and 422 near Edinburg. The driver of the car, Shawn Geisinger, 22, of Tarentum, and Ms. Maguire's 2-year-old son were taken to a hospital for treatment. The truck driver, Daniel J. Hill, 33, of Brackenridge, was not injured. The Arm Stump Story
Ok my next story involves my older half-sister Laurie who was EMT at the time. We were all down in Louisiana for the 4th of July and were having a big family get together, sitting around another half-sisters front yard grilling out, and Laurie' pagers goes off. Tears Of Pain....
Ok, so it's like 4AM and I am in so much pain.. For all of those who know what is going on, I had my injections on Friday, and it doesn't seem to be helping! I am in so much pain right now. My whole lower back is burning, and it's shooting down my legs and I can't get comfortable in bed.... I have spent the past hour crying becuase it hurts so badly. I was so out of it on Friday, that I forgot to ask Dr. Sloan to change my pain medication. I'm not sure what he can put me on next seeing as to how I am on 10/650 of Hydrocodone..... I think my next option is going to be Radioactive therapy where they go in and cut the nerves off in my back with radioactive waves to get rid of the pain... But I'm not sure what he could give me for pain. I have already tried the Votaren Gel and it's not working .... It just hurts so badly! I just don't know what to do right now, I am in so much pain and I have to be at work in 11 hours... *sighs with tear* This is just horrible.......
