Apologies And Thanks
First I want to apologize to my friends who responded to my status change yesterday about drama. I REALLY appreciate what you said and it means SO much to me that you care about me enough to respond like you did. Agin, my apologies. I had just had my fill of all the BS Drama. (WARNING: KNOW WHO YOU ADD AS FRIENDS. I learned the hard way) Along the same lines, I want to thank each and every one of you that recognized the fact that I was UPSET and the way you each handled it. It is the greatest feeling in the world to have a friend console you when you have "reached your limits" and blow up. Thanks again to all of you. Now to explain...If any of you know Heartbroek Gal or Fallen Angel (from Alabama, used to beunder another name), then all I can say is beware. There is something going on there with those two and some guy and it is nothing but pure BS Drama. I tried to stay neutral and not get between any of it, but NO they had to press for "taking sides" (me or her bullshit)

Proving My Point Again
How can you go out and drink yourself stupid, then drive 100MPH with your 6 year old kid in the car? Another one that I just took in to the hospital, that will survive, but is going to need many surgerys to repair his body. Many more years to heal him mentally, and only with professional help. Chocolate Cake With Fluffy Coconut Frosting Recipe
Ingredients: ***Cake*** 1 3/4 cup flour 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup cocoa 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1/2 cup oil 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup boiling water ***Fluffy Coconut Frosting*** 1 1/2 cup sugar 2 egg whites 1 tablespoon light corn syrup 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon orange extract 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup water 1 cup shredded coconutDirections: Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat 2 min on medium. At lowest speed mix in boiling water. The batter will be thin. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8" round glass baking pan. Bake 350 for 20-30 mins or until tester is clean. Cool in pans. Meanwhile make the frosting: In top of double boiler with mixer on high speed, beat all ingreds except coconut until blended, about 1 min. Place over rapidly boiling water. Beat at high speed untl soft peaks form.

Stainless Steel Rust
The laptop has been fixed and restored to its former glory. This time, im not going to piss about with it by trying to install XP on it, ill make do with ME.... Sooooo, my husband asked me on Monday or Tuesday if he could invite two people over this weekend for some steaks and stuff. So, it might come as a surprise that a librarian is just really getting into these, but given their public editorial nature, we tend to shy away from such things. In case you are somewhat uninitiated a wiki is exactly the same as wikipedia, except is is hypper specific to a topic. Basically the experts or in the case of the ones I have frequented lately, the fans of the topic add articles and update the items as they see fit. I gotta make this entry short cause, surprise, I gotta go to work soon. :( I work in a grocery store deli and it sucks. I guess I enjoy the company of the people im working with but just the things we have to do and some of the customers, gosh it's enough to give anyone a headache. It's also not the cleanest job and the head manager is incredible fussy when it comes to overtime (lets just say my manager back in the deli gets in trouble if any of us gets overtime). I want to put this down before another year passes and the memory is wiped from my consciousness completely. 1 c Onion, chopped finely 1/2 Salt 1 d Red pepper 6 ea Eggs 1 c Milk 1 d Pepper 2 c Canned tomatoes 1 tb Margarine 1/2 Pepper 6 tb Cornstarch 1 Baking powder 1/2 Salt SAUCE:Put onions in a pan with a little water and cook until partly done. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, red peppers and margarine. Simmer very slowly for 3 hours until thick. EGGS:Beat eggs, cornstarch, milk, salt, pepper and baking powder. Put a little margarine in skillet and heat. Cook egg mixture until set, then flip over and cook other side. Put on plate and fold over. Fill with tomato sauce.

As some of you know and many don't, I am a recovering alcoholic. Last night was the first New Years Eve that I was sober and not out partying in 14 years! It was a pretty tough night, but I did it and a lot of that is due to some of you! Thank you to my friends. I have this deep seeded feeling that my life is about to begin a new chapter of some sort. Well, not so much starting a new chapter, but closing a current one. One of those "winds of change" feelings we get from time to time. The biggest problem in my life's journey has always been complacency. I become "comfortable" in my surroundings. The problem with being comfortable is there is no room for growth. It's a difficult problem for me to overcome. It's the reason I've been at my same job for a dozen years. To date I have had no further seizures This morning, 17th January, the Epilepsy Nurse phoned to enquire about the drugs I am currently taking. INGREDIENTS * 3 cups all-purpose flour * 1 cup vegetable oil * 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar * 1 cup chopped walnuts * 1 cup grated carrots * 1 cup milk * 6 eggs * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 3 teaspoons baking powder * 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon * 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg * 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9 or 10 inch tube pan. 2. Sift the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together and set aside. 3. 1 pound dried penne pasta, prepared according to package directions 8 ounces lean ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 2 cups water 2 cans (6 ounces each) Italian tomato paste 1/3 cup red wine or water 1 tablespoon MAGGI Instant Beef Flavor Bouillon 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese PREHEAT oven to 350° F. We Had A Blast!!
Well my 8 year old daughter and I had such a blast in San Francisco and will definitely go back. We stayed at the Radisson on the Wharf, great Hotel, typical hotel, never absolutely quiet as a hotel is not unless you spend lotsa money but it was very nice. Got there kinda late the first day, so just kinda walked around the Wharf a bit and had dinner. Next morning, did the Alcatraz tour. What a trip!! Never knew so much history there and would love to do the night tour. Ooooh scarey!! Went to the Aquarium on the Bay which was very cool. My daughter loved it. Took the BART to Downtown Berkeley to see an old friend and had dinner with her. It was a wonderful visit. The last full day we had there it was kamakazee!!! Rode the old trolley car, chinatown, Gheridelli, Museums, did alot, I mean ALOT of walking. Spent the last evening on the Wharf and just enjoyed all the sights and sounds. Didn't get to do all the things we wanted to do but next time we will do things differently. At least n

Please Read My Update ......
Hi If you have read my previous blog you will know that my mum has recently had surgery for cancer. We were told originally that the cancer was contained and it was all removed during the surgery. We have since learned that this was not the case and the cancer had infact spread to at least one lymph node and now my mum has to go through chemo once again (she had breast cancer 4 years ago which spread and she had to have 6 months of aggressive chemotherapy which made her extremely ill). She is due to see her consultant in a few days and we should know exactly whats what then. Please keep her in your prayers and keep your fingers crossed for a positive outcome. Thanks for reading.
