Hi. My name is Thom Johnson aka ShyDog. I've been a musician since the age of 6. My main instruments are piano, organ, and synths, but also play bass, rhythm guitar, and a little drums. Over the years I have played with a lot of musicians from all over, some famous ones. Now I mainly record in my home studio, or play an occasional gig here and there. The home studio is PC based and I use Cubase as my choice of software. I also have a Fostex 16 track digital recorder that is portable enough to record demos on at practice or at a gig. It will be replaced soon with a laptop which will work as a portable unit and the live use as well. It will take the place of my module rack. Of course my main interest is music. But I enjoy going to car shows and cruises, and drowning some worms on occasion. Programming computers is another thing that opens up the creative juices just in a different way.
