Hello. To tell you something about myself I must start at the very beginning. My birth was both joyous and heart breaking. My mother, after a very difficult labour, died bringing me into this world. My dad so torn as to what to do with me once he learned that my difficult birth had left me deaf. My Godly grandmother took me and my dad in. It was thru her that my dad put me in a special school at 5. I was taught how to talk using sign language. My dad learned with me so that he and I could talk. At the age of 10 my grandmother had a stroke that took her voice. No longer could my grandmother talk to us. I took it upon myself to teach her all that I had learned while in school. When my grandmother caught on to the way I was teaching it was then I saw my calling. Now all these years later, I teach disabled children in a small school. I love my job and when a new student smiles as they see they can still communicate to others. It is a very rewarding job. If after
