It may be in your e-mail, your hard drive or the next website you visit -
I Do Not claim I can stop it, or fix it -
I've had a virus once before - Total Lock-out -
PC useless -
I called Norton/Semantec etc. - I spoke to a man
in India, who told me it would cost $100 + to
speak to a man in Delaware. . .
The point is The solution is ON your screen every
time you log on - It is called a "Destructive
Recovery" -
- It's a bitch, and you'll hate yourself for
having to do it -
What I hate is the way I was treated by 'Technical Support' - I was robbed. . .
I'm no goody-goody, guardian angel - I am, in fact a bit of an A-hole -
But if your still with me, here's my advice. . .
*Back up everything worth saving onto discs -
(The 'Virus' may be downloaded on to them;
I'm sorry I can't be more sure about that)
*If you notice -Anything- strange on your PC,
go slowly - Check you bank accounts, recent
purchases, be careful when you contact your friends - (You may want to use a code of some
sort on the 'Subject' header) - If you haven't
got the 'Virus' your friends just may give it
to you inadvertently. . .
Fu-bar is NOT 'air-tight' - but, If the worst should happen shut down your machine - go
to a 'safe' PC, (a few minutes at work
won't hurt) -
