What a night. All day today I have been in extreme pain, my back, my chest and my arms. Nothing has calmed it down much. I was gonna go grab a bite to eat earlier and said screw it and went to ER. When I first got there they did a quick EKG cuz my chest is hurting. When they moved me back into ER, the doctor ordered chest x-rays and blood work down. During the blood work they gave me a shot of morphine through the iv they were starting incase I needed a cat scan. I was feeling okay for a little bit. When the dr came in he said my white blood cells are high, and he definitely diagnosed this as pleurisy. What that is, is the lining between your ribs and lungs become inflamed. I have had it before, but the pain was usually centrally located not all over and radiating.
The nurse was iffy about letting me leave since I drove myself, but told her I only had a short period to go. When i was leaving my friend called and I went down there for a little bit, but being in pain I couldnt handle hanging out and came home. They put me on vicodin, I just took 1/2 hoping it helps cuz the pain is coming back hard, if it doesnt I will take the whole thing.
This is so weird, cuz it hurts to even touch my arms and stuff. I hate pain, especially like this that I cant describe how it feels it just friggin HURTS!!
