I just bought a house this summer. I'm putting in new vinyl flooring in the bathroom. When we pulled up the piece in between the old bathroom floor and the carpet in the hallway, we found hardwood floors under the carpet. I knew we had hardwood in two bedrooms, but didn't think we had it everywhere else. I love hardwood, and what we can see by the bathroom door looks beautiful, I'm just scared that if we pull up all the carpet we'll find out the floors are damaged or stained elsewhere. I don't know that we'd have the money to fix the damage. So, what should I do:
A: Don't risk it, leave the carpet
or
B: Take a chance and pull up the carpet |
