So for the past few years, I have been stuck in what I consider hell on earth. Here in Indiana, it will snow on Monday, Tuesday it will be 70 degrees, and Wednesday will start a 3 day ice storm. I absolutely hate the cold in any sense, let alone when it's this unpredictable.
So today, I have been uploading videos of half-dressed men singing about alcohol, warmth, and beaches. I'm dancing around my house even though it's freezing outside imagining I'm back in the Caribbean, sipping mango mai tais and wandering the streets of St. Thomas looking for those perfect topaz earrings to match my necklace.
Am I crazy to be lost in my own little world, waiting for my prince charming to return from work and sweep me upstairs to spend the rest of the night drinking rum and pretending it's warm enough to not need any clothes, or is it perfectly normal to want something better? |
