I can remember watching the towers fall. I can remember seeing the people fall before the television stations decided to stop showing it. Perhaps they decided to stop showing it once they they recognized that what they were seeing was people jumping to their deaths. EGG ROLLS 8 egg roll skins Crab filling, Pork and Shrimp filling, Ham-Orange filling or vegetable filling Shortening or cooking oil for deep-fat frying Sweet-Sour sauce Fir each egg roll, place one egg roll skin on a flat surface with one corner pointing to you. Spoon about 1/4 cup of desired fillig just below the center of the egg roll skin. Fold the corner pointing at you over the filling, tucking the corner under the filling. Fold side corners over the top, like an envelope. Roll up toward the remaing corner. Moisten the corner with water and press firmly to seal. In a heavy saucepan or deep-fat fryer heat 2-inches of melted shortening or cooking oil to 365 degrees. Fry the egg rolls a few at a time, for 2 or 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm in a 300 degree oven while frying the remainder. Serve warm egg rolls with Sweet-Sour sauce. Makes 8. FILLINGS Crab filling In a skillet cook 1 cup chopped Chinese Cabbage or cabbage, 1/2 c

FRIED CHEESE 8 ounces cheddar or Swiss cheese 3/4 cups cornflake crumbs 1/2 teaspoon fine herbs 2 beaten eggs shortening or oil for deep-fat frying taco sauce optional Cut the cheese into 2 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 inch sticks. Combine crumbs and fine herbes. Dip cheese sticks into eggs, then roll in crumb mixture, coating evenly. Dip cheese into egg and crumb mixture again. (be sure cheese is completely coated with crumbs). Chill 2 to 4 hours to set coating. In a heavy saucepan or a deep-fat fryer heat 2-inches of shortening or oil to 375 degrees. Fry the cheese sticks a few at a timefor 30 to 45 seconds or until golden braown. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm in a 300 degree oven while frying the remainder. PECAN PIE MINI MUFFINS 1 packed brown sugar 1/2 cup flour 1 cup pecans, finely chopped 2/3 cup butter, melted 2 eggs Combine sugar, flour and pecans in a bowl. I arrived in Oranjestad, Aruba to a rainy evening but warm greeting from Dad and Britney. By TRACY BRETON Journal Staff Writer PROVIDENCE –– Victims of the Station nightclub fire aren’t going to get any of their settlement money in time for Christmas. It appears, in fact, that it will be next spring at the earliest that any funds will be distributed. A federal magistrate judge, David L. Martin, met yesterday with lawyers for the victims and the dozens of parties they sued in connection with the February 2003 fire. I just wrote this on someone's profile question about whether writing is an art form and about writer's block. Hey, I am a writer and think about things like this. Writing is putting a thought onto paper which is only noticeable when written and powerful when you share it. Any form of creation is art when it comes from the mind. I don't know what you write. My blocks are usually in fantasy writing so I just keep writing any sort of thing including rubbish, then inspiration comes when I am not thinking about it. (Mine come from visual stimuli.) The Little Things
The last couple months I have been thinking about all the relationships I have ever been in. I noticed a pattern which I have been working on breaking. I seem to always be the one trying to become closer to the person im with or interested in. I go out of my way to leave the little things all the time to let them know I care. The little notes all over , the texts here and there saying Miss you , thinking of you etc, I realized the men I have been with have never actually gone out of there way to make me feel like they were thinking of me or missed me . To make me feel important to them in some way. I realized this pattern a while back and have put down my foot and stopped what it seemed to be chasing after someone.
