Ok I have a friend that needs help... Sick
well i never fucking get sick. Until this week. Fever,cough you name it i got it today. The fever is bad enough cause I think i'm hearing shit. The cough is causing lack of oxygen to my brain so the halucinations are a wee bit funnier to me.

Mini Rant
why the FUCK do we have class today?! seriously!!! there's ice on everything! every pathway is icey, even the snow is covered in ice (even tho there is that satisfying crunch when u walk on it). but there are a lot of mini hills on the way to my first class and to avoid them all, i had to walk in the snow. i would understand if the walk ways were clear of ice, and then i would have to get to class, but they're not! so this is kind of ridiculous. my running shoes apperantly have no traction on the ice so i have almost slipped multiple times. plus it's raining. so guess who is soaked. i have a paper to do that's due today, and writer's block that's unbelieveable. thankfully my german teacher (who lives in town) decided to cancel for today. There's this special little person in my life. You might even have one of your own. To get that person here with me today, I exchanged half my blood, three days of my ice thin patience and three hours of pain and concentration. In the end, I felt like I got hit by a train, I vomited and shit my bed. I staggered to and from my bathroom, looking in the mirror each time to see a zombie staring back at me. I temporarily lost my ability to do things for myself, grab a bite to eat, standing up from bed right down to wiping my own ass. It was all worth it though. Banana Vanilla Haupia (coconut Pudding Dessert)
1 quart coconut milk 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 bananas, sliced 2 tablespoons cornstarch Add coconut milk and sugar to a saucepan and stir over medium heat until sugar and salt is dissolved. Add the bananas to the pot and cook, stirring often until the bananas are integrated into the mixture. Make a slurry in a separate small bowl by gradually whisking 2 tablespoons water into the cornstarch. Whisk slurry into mixture in pot and allow to reduce and thicken until it is the consistency of yogurt. Transfer to serving dishes and chill.

Ginger Sweet And Sour Chicken
Sauce: 1 fresh lime 2 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1 red chile pepper, stem and seeds removed and diced 2 large cloves garlic, lightly crushed with the side of a knife blade and quartered 1 teaspoon peeled fresh ginger root, diced small 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil Chicken: 1 liter canola oil, or enough as needed to deep fry 1 cup rice flour or all-purpose flour (or enough as needed for dredging) Salt and freshly round black pepper 1 pound boneless chicken breasts cut into "chicken-finger"-sized strips Microwave the lime in a small bowl and set aside until it is just cool enough to handle. In a small bowl, create a slurry by gradually whisking 2 tablespoons water into the cornstarch. I was washing and packing clothes, booking my rental car, and writing bills to put in the mail on my way to the airport in the morning. Around midnight on Saturday, March 15th, I let my beloved pet dog Lucas outside to use the bathroom. As I stepped outside, I smelled smoke. I walked around to my garage area and could see huge flames burning through the woods. The large flames appeared to be very close to Jeff’s place, about a third of a mile away from my house. My first initial thought was that Jeff was burning either trash or a brush-pile. I then questioned my thought, considering how big the size of the flames looked. A Night After The Show I was laying on the hood of my car after the concert listening to the music coming from the busses across the way. Tomorrow
Tomorrow is a BIG day for me. After being in a soft cast for the last year, I finally get to have it taken off without having a new one put on. (Yes this is all still due to the tattoo ordeal) It was supposed to happen on Friday, but I still had a little inflamation in the area so I had to have it put back on. Yes, I was so excited about FINALLY getting my cast off today. I mean FFS, you wear one continuously for a year....on and off for five years....you kind of want some relief from it. I get to the doctor's office, and they cut the cast off and I knew immediately that I was going right back into another one. The tattoo I had was on my ankle (before I had to have it removed), and when they cut the cast off, the inflamation had spread almost back up to my knee. What to say on this fine Monday evening... Arguing is no fun (just to start)... how are things supposed to get better if everyone is focusing on the negative and all the flaws rather than making things better and working on the bad??? More sex means less chance of ED for older men Mon Jul 7, 11:16 AM ET NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say. In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (ED) by the study's end. In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their ED risk. The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years. Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset. Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years

Took this truck I've been working on, putting money into and my own blood, sweat and tears, to the shop to have the tires replaced, rubber bushings redone and inspected... Calls my message phone today... Truck won't pass inspection... Said truck is stuck in 4 wheel drive... apparently doesn't know about the hub locks for it.. Was only using the electronic button inside the cab... BUT... the front drive axle is cracked... How the hell?? Happier Times
My casts were pretty definitive characteristic of my childhood. I refused to let them hold me back. Just kidding, there is no determination story here. Just a kid who wanted to play with her cousins. I remember at my aunt Charlene's house, I would Climb up the steps in my casts, then slide down them like it was the funnest game in the world. Moving On
Well, as some of you know, I will be moving to New Zealand soon, October 27th to be exact. I am hyper excited about it! I'll be starting a dream job and also seeing Ange for the first time. I still am coming to terms with it, it seems so surreal. My new job is basically a contract job for three local investors in a project involving a new type of polymer, to be used in the medical field. It's a big deal for them and the company has a three year contract with them. I hope by that time, I can establish some local connections for a job, hopefully in the same field. And while all this is going on, Ange and I will be enjoying each others company. =)

Dads Biopsy Results
Hello all..took dad up to James Cancer Hospital at OSU this morning.to talk to the surgeon about the tumor on dads kidney that He removed on Oct 17th 2008..It ...was....cancer..it is called Cystic Cancer of the kidney..Dr.said that the test proved that He got it ....all out...and dads has a ...95% chance of it ...never ....coming back...He was very happy and said dad was doing good and he wanted to see dad back there in May 2009 to do a ultra sound to make sure dads 2/3rd of his left kidney is working right and if any tumors or cells have come back..Then after that they want to keep seeing him and testing just to make sure dad is ...cancer...free..they also did Labwork today.i told dad on the drive home..that even though i was scared for him on oct 17th , that i was soooo thankful he pushed to get it taken care of..dad is still tired and working on getting his strength back. once again, i CANT...thank you all enough for all of the loving words and thoughts, and prayers..love ya all..y

I got some awful news earlier and just need to get it out...not something I can discuss with most people. L.T.'s wife called me earlier tonight. His federal appeal was denied. If he doesn't get help before February, he will get an execution date. His lawyer is court appointed. He only filed a skeletal writ without following up because he's already made all the money he can make. He tells the wife that he can hire an investigator if she raises $10,000. Meaning, he takes $7,000 and pays an investigator 3. But, at this point in the case, an investigator would really do no good even though he's proposing to file a Brady claim. It's ridiculous. So last night I was reminded why I love my job. I was checking in this older 52 yo guy at around 12 10am into the hotel. All of a sudden, he looked at my name tag and went: "ty Russkaya??" I have always wanted to become an ordained minister.
