Life
Well i have never "blogged" before but i have always kept a journal and i think this is kinda the same thing. Life lately has been pretty dificult for me as I am a full time caregiver for my husbands Grandfather who has had a heart attack and 2 strokes in the last 10 months. Until January of this year he drove, bathed himself, prepared his own meals, pretty much self reliant. Then in a matter of one month he is totally dependent on me and my husband. He no longer uses the bathroom, shaves his own face, and can walk but barely. Therefore I am starting to feel like a prisoner in my own home. Please don't get me wrong I would change nothing, execpt his health of course but not my decision to take care of him, the alternative is a nursing home and I don't believe in them and I made my hubby a promise years ago that I would not let that happen. A Great Night After All !
Well last nigth me and David went to see "The Marine" it was pretty good. Last Night

Hi!!
So how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was as perfect as it could get. There wern't any family arguments this year, that was a shocker...we still have Christmas though! haha. I find it funny how you have a full fridge before you start the cooking, because of all the ingrients and what not..yet..even after cleaning up from last night..our fridge is still full..We had a bunch of left overs, because my family thinks we have a big family...theres only 10 of us. So my Aunt made 8 pies..sorry, I lied..7 pies and 1 cake..heh...We still have about 5 in the fridge :o/. My grandma made all these different side dishes. We made the turkey, and theres still plenty of that left. I think we'll have turkey for the next week! Oy. So other than that, I had a fun Thanksgiving. Tomorrow about 10am est I'll be leaving for a festival my band is running. We'll be on location about 10:30-11am, and start breaking down merchandise (taking place inside a store) and setting up gear. The first band is set to take the stage @ 2pm. Needing Time For Me
I am doing so much to forget about love, that I seldom do something for me..I am in school online now. Taking classes for a Bachelors degree in Education is hard work.. I am up most nights doing homework/classwork, and when the kids go to school in the day, that is when I sleep.. I miss pampering myself at the spa, or going to the gym and working out a little bit..Need to make time for me, because that is what keeps me going and not be too stressful..I am doing some PSP8 stuff by making tags & find that cool as well as learning so many things to make my tags better.. If It's Not One Thing, It's Another...
Well, yesterday was rather eventful for me. Hubby woke up with pain in his stomach again, and after being promoted by the 'evil mother-in-law' (my mother) to either go back to the ER or call the Dentist and see if he could be seen pronto - had a 4pm visit with the dentist to follow up with his discharge Saturday. They put him on a different antibiotic, one that was signifantly stronger and that he would only have to take for two weeks - and sent him home. He brought the new prescription back and asked me to fill it, which I didn't object to. I finished watching the last few minutes of my show and left hubby with m-i-l and the kids. He also asked me to pick up some yogurt while I was out, so I did. But the prescription was $202 to fill (with only $214 in the bank)!! So after some talking with the pharmacy tech (have I mentioned that I love the Rite-Aid staff??) they agreed to fill half of the script and treat it as a refill order. But I'd have to come back at 7pm to get it. ~grumble gr

A Great Weekend
Saturday we took our daughter to the LA Zoo and we got a year pass since it only makes sense for us to have one... My daughter had a blast. She would say "Wow!!!" to almost every animal she saw, followed by "Mama!!!" and point at whatever animal we were looking at hehe. We walked the entire zoo, but some of the animals had been taken out... like the meerkats, because they where introducing a new member. Since we have a years membership, we will be able to go to member days when they zoo is less busy. That'll be fun. LA Zoo is also building a bunch of new areas between now and 2010. Frustrations
Hi all, I have a 9 yr old boy who is starting to really frustrate me here lately. He isn't acting like himself and i am wondering if there is something going on at school. A couple of years ago, when he was in the 1st grade he had a boy that was really bullying him, and instead of telling us or the teacher, or anyone else, he let all his anger build until one day the boy threw playdough at his head and hit him. My son turned around and stuck a sharpened pencil in the boy's hand. We have talked about this and he nows tells us when something is wrong at school or he tells the teacher/ principal. Here lately he seems distracted, more worried about small things then actually doing what he needs to be doing, like home work, making sure i check it all and sign his book, giving me important paperwork, etc.....
