A Personal Journey To Being A Breast Cancer Awareness Advocate
This is a story that had to be told but hard to do so I believe without seeming to be self serving or anything else of the sort but here goes. Back in my youth many years ago, I had a favorite aunt...my dad's sister named Helena Pecot (I so miss her) whose health was failing her, She found she had breast cancer. At the time I was too young to fully understand what it all meant but in time, it got the better of her and she would succumb to it. When you're young and you're used to visiting someone very regularly and now you can't any more takes a toll on you because of that is very sad. I will always remember her and think of her. Anyhow as I said before, I was a bit young to fully understand what it all meant and why it happens...so I didn't think about it for the longest time, but it did have a long standing effect that came back to light much later in life. Flash forward to about 4-5 years ago. I have a good friend who some time ago found out she was diagnosed with breast cancer

Recently I have been banned from leaving comments on profile pages and on photos. When I wrote Fubar as to why, they just said,"You have violated the terms of service and please refer to them" Soooooo, I read them and I couldn't see anything in there that I violated. I have no nudity on my page or in my photos. My comments I leave on my friends pages are tasteful. (I've seen way worse from others then what I ever put up) I'm drama free. Being Alone....
why is it when men decide to change careers they dont think about what it will do to the woman in their life? Or even to their kids. my husband decided to leave the farm life to be a truck driver last month. so we moved from our home to another state and are going thru hell trying to get caught back up on everyhting. im having hell finding work, and just found out he may not be home for a VERY long time. and he is loving his new job, but isnt thinking about how it is making me feel. i hate being alone with 2 pain in the butt girls with no help from him. and when i ask him to send money home for this or that he has an all out fit. and tells me that it wont leave him much money. but i tell him the bills come first what he wants to spend money on can wait. the only thing he needs to spend money on is his showers and meals. so how do i cope with all of that and the lonliness without going compltely insane?

I have been making jewelry for many years now, mostly as a hobby. I give it as gifts to friends/family, people I know. I do sell it mostly by word of mouth. I enjoy making jewelry it's somewhat relaxing. seeing the finished product is great. I make mostly beaded stuff, I do work with wire and chain, hemp, semi precious stones, and any other items I find that can be made into jewelry. I prefer to make custom pieces to stuff like something I have already made. I find them more personal. As a Company, Southwest Airlines is going to support 'Red Fridays.' Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families. Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal. There is one religion after Islam that pulls my chain. Its a branch of Christianity called...Catholicism. Life And Missing Him
So my life right now is kind of hectic and i don't see it slowin down or calming down anytime soon. I currently take on 12 credit hours at college, which isn't alot. But still. Veteran's Day isn't really just 1 day. November 11th isn't the only day you can stop and thank someone for serving in the US military. It can be July 22nd when you thank someone. The fact is...you can thank a member of the US militar ANY day of the year. That simple thank you will mean something to them. I've been part of a pen pal program with soldiers stationed overseas and most of them are so happy to receive letters, even if they are from people they don't know. It helps make life easier for them, helps them for a moment forget the hell they are going through. I'm related to a LOT of military members and I know just one small thank you means a lot to them. My father served. Both of my grandfathers did and even 2 of my uncles did. I've got a cousin who in a few months will be a member of the military. Trust me...your simple thank you does mean a lot to them.

Wet Moon
Volume 4 of Ross Campbell's 'Wet Moon' came out this month. I love this book to death. A real slow burn, especially with the long lag between volumes, but it's such a grower. Pretty much an essential book now. And the artwork is brilliant. Basically the trials and tribulations of a group of female students in the Florida town of Wet Moon, it's got a great feel for the alternative undergound scene, and when it's funny, it's actually funny. If you like comics and shit like that, and not just men in tights doing a fight, check it out.

Not Sure What I Did But...
OK so I haven't been on here much the past few days. Actually, I think this is the first in a couple of days. We had about 10 inches of snow in the forecast that was supposed to start Late Thursday and on into Friday. Well, instead we got just a few inches of snow along with some ice. I have been at my PC briefly checking email messages as apparently I have done something to pinch a nerve. I have arthritis in all hip and knee joints. The right hip being more severe. This past week alone just sitting at the PC for long periods of time I get it in my tail bone (LOL, ok if you wanna be funny and smart my arse!) I'm sure this is because I desperately need to go see my chiropractor. But since my auto insurance will no longer pay any accident related medical visit (as they only paid for a yr after the accident). Obviously, I can't afford to go when I really need to. This has been one hell of a week. I'm not sure if anyone missed me or not. Some of you got a text from me letting you know what happened. Here's a recap for those of you that didn't know.
