Chicken Risotto Recipe
Risottos are very popular and can be very healthy. This recipe takes about 20 minutes to prepare (heating the stock beforehand decreases the cooking time). Memories
Weekend is coming up and the weather is finally cooling down. Just the simple changing of the season and a smell in the air can bring back memories for me. It Is Time For Another Rant
I was reading an article earlier today (which is posted in the "news" section of my stash) concerning a man who has applied or attempted to apply for over 100 jobs over the last couple of months and was either denied the job due to his tattoos or denied even an application. When will the world wake up and realize that tattoos and other body modifications are VERY mainstream now? I also posted the article on my myspace and was told by a friend (whom I actually have nothing in common with and believe we like to hang out because we like to argue with each other, lol) that an employer not giving a job to a modified person is NOT discrimination. How the hell is it not? Ok, I know we CHOOSE to adorn our bodies with art, but does a person also CHOOSE whether or not to practice religion and if so, which one they will practice? Are there not religious groups that are seen as "unfavorable" for various reasons and sometimes have a difficult time finding employment due to their religious beliefs?

This blog goes for in person relationships and online but i guess mainly online for now. I think that I am a very honest and open person. Whoever I tell people I am online is exactly who I am in person. I also try to be as honest as possible in person without hurting people intentionally. I do NOT get what is so hard these days about being fucking honest to the people in your life. If they aren't worth being honest to, why are they there in the first place? Memoirs Of A Jog
I decide I'm going to go for a jog today. Yes, I know this is probably already causing an outburst of laughter. Continue b/c it gets better. So, I've got the shoes laced up (double knots of course b/c I wouldn't want them to come untied), I have my tube socks up to my knees, track shorts from high school that were too tight then, a wifebeater w/ dorito stains, and a headband to keep the sweat from my eyes during this intsense run. So, I start jogging and man I'm really going strong. . .for about 10 steps. I then start to feel the burn and realize I'm old. Holy Shit I Love Him
i'm in love with chris. i told him yesterday and, as it turns out, he loves me too. he told me that even though we haven't known each other for very long, he could see himself growing old with me. i can honestly say that's the first time anyone has ever said that to me, let alone the first time i believed it. we were walking around the mall of the mainland at about 12 am and he asked me why i loved him. i described it like this: you know when you're standing at the edge of a really tall building, looking down? you get that exhillarating feeling like you're about to find out what it feels like to fly, but at the same time you're scared of landing... that's what i feel when i'm with him. so this hasn't turned out at ALL the way i planned. i'm very impressed that he hasn't cheated or even given me a reason not to trust him. i'll keep you posted.

I went to my fathers grave today, like I try to do every year on November 11th. It’s been 18 years since he’s passed and today I felt exactly like I did 18 years ago – like a young, lost boy that just realized that superman was dead. I think back over my life and all I can do is hope that in someway my father is proud of me. I’m not as successful as he had hoped. To be honest, I don’t think I ever could have been as successful as he wanted me to be. He was a mechanic. He fixed things. Going To Be Gone Awhile
Hey Everyone. Don't know how often I'm going to be able to get on for awhile. My dad was in an accident last night. He wrecked practicing for the Snow Ball Derby race that's held next month. He broke his left leg and we found out tonight that he will not have to have surgery. So, that's the good part. He has to go back in for more test on his chest and his head. I also had a friend who was in a wreck last night as well. He isn't doing so well. As of right now, he's still in the ICU and heavily sedated. He has surgery to repair his aorta last night and he's having surgery on his arm tomorrow. If things don't get any better, he'll be having surgery on Thursday as well on his kidney. They are still not sure if he's going to make it or not and if he does there is no telling what shape he'll be in. So, I'll be in and out for awhile! Talk to you guys soon!

The immense fossilised claw of a 2.5m-long (8ft) sea scorpion has been described by European researchers. The 390-million-year-old specimen was found in a German quarry, the journal Biology Letters reports. The creature, which has been named Jaekelopterus rhenaniae, would have paddled in a river or swamp. The size of the beast suggests that spiders, insects, crabs and similar creatures were much larger in the past than previously thought, the team says. The claw itself measures 46cm - indicating its owner would have been longer even than the average-sized human. Overall, it exceeds the record for any other sea scorpion (eurypterid) find by nearly 50cm. The eurypterids are believed to be the extinct aquatic ancestors of modern land scorpions and possibly all arachnids (the class of animals that also includes spiders). Our family had the veiwing at my mothers house where both of my Grandparnts live and my love and my respects was all I could give. INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1 1/2 cups sugar 8 egg yolks 8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, cut into 8 pieces Grated zest of 2 lemons Pinch of salt 3 cups cake flour (not self-rising) 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups sugar 16 tablespoons (2 sticks) butter, softened 4 eggs, at room temperature, separated 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup well-stirred canned unsweetened coconut milk 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 egg whites, at room temperature 2 teaspoons corn syrup 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 (17-ounce) bag shredded sweetened coconut (2 2/3 cups) In a heavy-bottomed medium saucepan, combine lemon juice and 1/2 cup water. Add cornstarch, and whisk to dissolve. Add sugar, egg yolks, butter, lemon zest and salt. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture comes to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and whisk 1 minute. Strain through a coarse sieve into a medium bowl.

Hi y'all! An update on the progress of my heart transplant... Well, the last update was in July. Lots has happened since then. I received FANTABULOUS news in October! I was so excited that I didn't want to share it! I wanted to hold it close to my heart (no pun intended) and keep it for myself a while. The news: I've been moved from Zone 2 to Zone 7 (see what the zones are at the bottom)! YIPPPEEEE!!! So what does that mean? It means that I will continue to take the medicine and follow the strict diet for the rest of my life. I was told that this means I will NOT have to have a heart transplantation! WOOT! WOOT! Of course, if my heart worsens or my condition changes (for the worse) then I will be moved back to the top of the waiting list...but I'm only thinking positive thoughts...believing that nothing will change for the worse. My heart has responded remarkably well to the drugs and therapy! It's incredible how quickly I bounced back...seems like the brink of death! Te

My closest friends already know the problems I have been having with someone marking my "not bad stuff" as NSFW. Time To Open My Eyes
So This year hasnt started out the way i hoped it would, just as all the others have, something ends up going wrong in some way or another, but this year was a real eye opener. Of course being that my birthday is on Jan. 1st i usually bring in the year with a bang. and this year wasnt gonna be any different. Well it has been quite a while since I have been on here./ A lot of things have gone on in the past several months. I mean it's really been since the beginning of July that I was really on here. I almost feel weird admitting this: I download music and TV shows from the internet for free - thank you usenet - but I balk when somebody wants an image recreated. Just Wanna Cry
i'm in so much pain right now all i wanna do is cry. my meds aren't helping... i can't seem to stop feeling exhausted... my 4 year old lil girl is constantly climbing on me, kicking me, hitting me, pushing me...and she's literally pushing me over the edge. i'm not sure if i can handle this much more.. i feel like i'm going insane!! it feels like my flesh is being ripped from the bones, like i've been beaten and battered and dragged behind a car for hundreds of miles. i can't get any rest...i try..but it hurts soo bad. i take my ultram and it does absolutely NOTHING.. and on top of that, i woke up this morning with what feels like bronchitis starting in my chest... again... i just wanna go to sleep and not wake up for weeks... can someone please put me in a coma?

Why I Don't Care Anymore.
I am done trying to meet anyone it just doesn't work for me anymore.. I think I just keep fuckin up or caring or something... It's a waste of time..
