Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the surgery that removed the liver cancer from my body before it spread to my lungs and killed me. Its been a very odd 3 years. At times I remember who I was before all of this happened and I don't know what was the better path for my life. I've gotten in better shape since I was cured and I took school much more seriously but at the same time, everything is different. Every high five and every kiss, every little moment of interaction means a little bit more. It was all so close to being gone and I have to appreciate that I can somehow still enjoy all of these things. At the same time, I miss my old life. I miss being in the Army every day. MARTHA'S CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP 8 cups water 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 4 large carrots, diced 2 stalks of celery, diced 1 medium onion, chopped 6 chicken bouillon cubes 3 cups cooked elbow macaroni 2 teaspoons dried basil freshly ground black pepper grated parmesan cheese In a large pot, heat water. Add chicken breasts, carrots,celery, onion, and bouillon cubes. Bring to a low boil, then simmer on low for 15 to 20 minutes, or until breasts are cooked through. Remove breasts to a plate and cut into bite-size pieces. Return chicken to the pot; add macaroni. Season with basil and pepper to taste. Being A Truck Driver!
I recently quit doing the one job that I have alway's wanted to do to come home and take care of my step-children. So I just got done watching the biggest piece of cinematic shit I have ever encountered. It was called "Merlin and the War of the Dragons". Wow...the entire 90 minutes of it I just kept thinking to myself "Why am I watching this? Why don't I just close the browser window and move on?" The plot was thin where it was not full of holes, the script was lame, and the acting was atrocious. The special effects look like they were done on powerpoint, and the main battle scenes (supposedly thousands of men) were attempted to be choreographed with less than 30. I sit here so late in the night, or early in the morning as some might see it, because I cant sleep. I am plagued with nightmares and aches and pains that wont go away. Bathroom Danger
My head hurts, I just spent 15 minutes unconscious on my bathroom floor. I was taking a shower and someone knocked on my door, I still don't know who. The poem below is written in memory of my high school math teacher Miss Maxine Henley, that your name reminded me of. It’s made in the form of an acrostic on the name Maxine Howard, with middle initials S.F. (for saving faith) added. I interpret Prov 10:5 as relating to the old saying: "Make hay while the sun shines". What Love Is
It is Love that gives me purpose to change and grow and learn. It is Love that guides me on this path and helps me choose each turn. It is Love that gives me courage to stand against my fears; to open up my heart to you, to let you see my tears. It is Love that gives me trust and hope when little thing go wrong. People With No Real Pics
Ive noticed a ton of people on here that have only beautiful/interesting/funny pics from the internet or that they created as their pics(profile pic,default and public folders)....some dont have any REAL pics,and if they do,they are locked in private folders....are they really that scared of people seeing how they look? Are they that ugly? Or do they think it just makes them cool? Do they think it makes them super-private? Tons of other info is available on the page,so why not a pic? I have seen some where you cant even view a salute to see if its a real person. I dont know if they had one and then remove it or what. I just like to visualize who i am talking to,and i appreciate the other kinds of pics,but I find it irritating if you cant find at least one pic of actually THEM on their page. Just venting,you will have to excuse me im not feeling well tonight......

The Turtlesymbiote Story
It all started on day when I was just walking around my master's garden. Watching him as he teaches some younger ninjas. Then all of the sudden a helicopter crushes in to the garden killing both my master and the children. I went over to help out my master never even noticing the strange green substance that was on the ground and that got all over me. Then strange men in black come to clean up the mess. One of them picks me up and throws me across the yard. As I lay there crying about what has just happened days pass and I begin to grow bigger. Over the next few days I start to think of the men in black and how much it was their fault and how I will make them pay. Just then a small peace of glowing red stuff falls on my back though I don’t not feel it then. When get up and finally realize I have grown and now can stand on two legs and talk like my master. When Down Is Up
