I Hope It Was Worth It
I have done a lot of soul searching through the passing of the years..and yes..I am proud of my body and I take care of it...and the respectful compliments are always nice to hear...but some take it to extremes...ok ALOT take it to extremes and that's the downside...I used to be gullible and naive and buy into EVERYTHING people would say...I wanted to believe them..but hard life lessons has taught me that the majority of people...well they just suck and are out for what they can benefit by telling you everything you wanna hear...so I choose not to listen anymore...this place is a game...but the REAL people playing it are not...sometimes things take you by surprise and effect you in a way that you never dreamed they would...and that is wat happened to me...I was taken by surprise and it has affected my REAL life so I am kinda in fu's debt for that... So I went to the doctor today and according to her I am 5 and half weeks along and my due date is May 19th 2007..So to be 100% sure I asked for an ultrasound so I will know in 2 weeks when I am due and how far along I actually am...hehe...I'll keep you posted.

Private Anythings
I have been on here a while and I have found something that I find kinda strange. The privitizing of photos seems kinda silly to me. You can argue that it's privacy, then why even post the pics on the internet. The privacy leaves once you are friends with someone..so that makes sense, but I found some that were still private after friendship. Maybe I just don't know how this works quite as well yet but I find it weird to post any pic then make it private. We all know whats behind door number private, and I don't want to sound perverted. I just say why post it on THE INTERNET if you don't want it to be seen. Kinda defeats the purpose.

1 (4 to 4 1/2 lbs.) stewing chicken, cut in quarters or eighths 4 c. water 3 carrots, halved 2 to 3 celery stalks, cut in thirds 1 sm. onion, quartered 1 bay leaf 2 pinches rosemary 2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked Wash chicken thoroughly, removing any visible pieces of fat. In a dutch oven, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add carrots, celery, onion, bay leaf, and rosemary. Drop the chicken, piece by piece into this so as not to lower the boiling point. Cover pot, lower heat, and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt and pepper and continue simmering 1/2 hour or until chicken is tender. Adjust or stir seasoning, then add 3 cups of macaroni. If there is not enough broth to cover the macaroni, add more water. Cover and continue cooking for 18 minutes. If you wish a fricassee with more liquid, cook the macaroni separately in 5 cups of chicken broth made from boiling the neck, liver, gizzard, and heart with a small onion, a celery stalk, salt and pepper. 4 large potatoes, well scrubbed 2 quarts boiling salted water 1/3 cup butter 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage leaves 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper salt, to taste (if needed) Wash and peel potatoes. Cut into 6 to 8 lenthwise wedges. Meanwhile, bring the salted water to a boil. Drop in potatoes and boil for 5 minutes. Remove potatoes (they will still be firm). Drain. In a skillet, melt butter over low heat and heat until butter has nearly browned. Stir in crumbled sage and potatoes. Continue to cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until all the butter has been absorbed and the potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and black pepper. 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 3 sliced bananas 1/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs, separated 2 c. scalded milk 2 tbsp. sugar Mix sugar with flour and salt. When using self rising flour, omit salt. The Best Big Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes around 18 cookies 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. 2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. 3. In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart. 4. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Update On Kadence
I just wanted to let everyone who has been concerned and praying for Kadence that she is doing great. She has been off the breathing machine for 5 days now and doing great. She is now on the going home side of the nicu nursery and her nurse just said that they have changed her iv fluids to clear fluids and that she should only have her IV one more day. I should be able to try breastfeeding her this weekend and she is up to 4lbs 4.6oz so she's gaining weight.

My Beloved Car Died....

Halloween Black Cat Cookies
1 c. crunchy peanut butter 1/3 c. water 2 eggs 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix M & M's (plain) Red hots Beat together peanut butter, eggs, and water. Gradually add cake mix. Mix well. Some of us at least have an issue with going through a drive through to get food. If the speaker even works (a 50-50 chance at best), then you have to cross your fingers in HOPES that the person on the 'working' end of things speaks enough english to be able to almost take your order. 2/3 C. shortening 1 C. sugar 1 egg 1/4 C. molasses 2 C. flour 1 t. soda 1 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. ground cloves 1 1/4 t. ground ginger 1/2 t. salt 1/2 C. walnuts finely chopped sugar for coating cookies Cream shortening and sugar together. Migas With Fresh Tortillas
4 large eggs 1 T. water 1 T. salsa 1 T. butter 1 T. olive oil 2 6-inch corn tortillas, torn into small pieces 1/4 C. finely chopped white onion 2 T. chopped green chiles 1 tomato, seeds and pulp removed, chopped 1/2 C. chopped avocado, sprinkled with a little lemon juice 2 t. minced fresh cilantro 2/3 C. grated mild cheddar or Monterrey jack cheese crema or sour cream In a small bowl, lightly beat together the eggs, water and salsa, and set aside. Warm the butter and olive oil in a heavy skillet. Add the tortilla pieces and sauté until softened. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it is transparent. Stir in the chopped green chiles. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, and "scramble" until eggs are done. Remove the skillet from heat, and sprinkle the chopped tomato, avocado, cilantro and cheese into the eggs, again stirring well. Serve at once with warm flour tortillas. Garnish with additional salsa and crema or sour cream

Salsa Verde 1 1/2 lbs. tomatillos 2 jalapeno chiles, seeded and chopped 1/4 C. chopped sweet onion 1 to 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped 1 t. white wine vinegar 1/2 t. salt 1/2 C. chopped cilantro Scrambled Eggs Olive oil cooking spray 6 extra-large eggs 1 T. water 2 oz. queso fresco or cream cheese, cut into small pieces 2 cooked and diced red-skinned potatoes or 1/2 C. cooked crumbled sausage (optional) 8 flour tortillas, warmed 1 C. shredded Monterey jack cheese To make the salsa verde: Soak tomatillos in warm water for a few minutes just to loosen the dry husks. Rinse well under running water, removing the husks. Place a few tomatillos at a time on a stovetop grill set over medium heat. Char on both sides until tomatillos are flecked with black but not softened. Use tongs to turn them. Alternatively, char under a medium broiler, but be careful not to cook them too much. Fusilli With Olives, Peas And Pecorino
Preparation Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 6 Ingredients 1 lb. fusilli, or other similar pasta 1/2 cup olive oil 1 lb. fresh or frozen green peas, steamed until tender 1 lb. spinachraw, steamed and chopped to equal 1/2 cup 2 whole garlic cloves, peeled 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, optional 1/4 cup dry white wine 5 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped 1/2 cup imported black olives, chopped 1/2 cup pecorino cheese, grated salt and pepper, to taste Instructions In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fusilli until just al dente. Drain and toss with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil to keep the pasta from sticking. Set aside in a large casserole or other large container to cool. In a food processor, combine half of the peas and half of the spinach with 5 tablespoons of the olive oil. Puree until smooth. Salt and pepper to taste, and set aside. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the garlic with the remaining olive oil. Discard the garlic.

Frgolini Fritti ~ This is a unique way to serve strawberries that is absolutely delicious. :Serves 4 Make sure your berries are very fresh and ripe for the best results. 1 Pound Strawberries, Cleaned 1/2 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Sweet Liqueur, Such As Maraschino 1/3 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1 Egg 1 Egg White 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Softened Milk 1/4 Cup Brandy For Frying Powdered Sugar Mix the sugar with the liqueur, and add the berries. Mix well, and let sit for about one hour. In a bowl, mix together the flour and butter. Add the egg, and brandy. Add enough milk to make a smooth batter. Beat the egg white until stiff, and then fold this into the batter. Heat the oil to 375 degrees F. Dip the berries into the batter, and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.

Refrigerator Cheese Cake
Ingredients: Graham Cracker Crust 1 ¼ cups crumbs (about 16 crackers) 2 T sugar ¼ cup melted butter 2 eggs, separated 1 cup sugar ½ tsp salt 1 cup milk 1 pkg lemon gelatin 1 ½ cups whipping cream 2 cups ricotta cheese Preparation: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Reserve 3 T for topping and press the remaining mixture firmly and evenly against the bottom and the sides of an 8x8 pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool. Combine the sugar, salt, egg yolks, and the milk in a large saucepan. Cook it over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Add the gelatin and stir until it is well dissolved. Cool in the refrigerator. When mixture begins to thicken, add the ricotta cheese. Beat it until the mixture is light. Beat the whipping cream until it is stiff, then fold it into the mixture. Beat the egg whites until they peak, then fold them into the mixture. Pour the finished cheese cake into the cooled crust and chill it until i

Dissolve raspberry gelatin in 1 cup hot water. Add frozen raspberries, and stir until well mixed. Pour into a glass bowl. Refrigerate until almost firm, about 30 to 60 minutes.. 2. Spread sour cream over firm gelatin. Refrigerate. 3. Dissolve cherry gelatin in 1 cup hot water. Stir in crushed pineapple and cranberry sauce. Chill until partially set, about 20 to 40 minutes. 4. Ingredients: 1/2 pound pork sausage 1/2 pound Mozzarella cheese, grated 2 cups leftover bread cubes 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional) 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg Instructions: Grease a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate or a 9-inch square baking dish. White Bean Soup With Escarole And Chicken Meatballs!!!
1/4 cup chopped Pancetta or smoked Slab bacon. cut into very small cubes. 1 medium onion chopped *1 tablespoon of Extra virgin Olive oil, just to saute the onions and the Pancetta. 2 Tablespoon of minced or finely chopped Garlic. 1 cup of good dry white wine.(if you drink it, cook with it, NEVER use those Start sauteing in your soup pot the 1/4 cup of chopped Pancetta or Smoked slab bacon, trim as much fat as you want off it's just for the flavor, you don't need all the fat anyway. Add the olive oil and the Onion. When the Onion is almost brown, add your garlic. Saute till all are just soft and lightly brown, don't over cook the garlic. Then de-glaze the pan with the white wine, let it cook down getting all the bits from the bottom of the pan. Next add your beans and stock and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and add your Escarole let simmer until Escarole is soft and cooked all the way through about 45 mins, last 15 mins add your meatballs. garnish and enjoy. garnish-

2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) chicken broth 3 cups cooked rice (I used brown rice) 2 cups diced, cooked chicken 1 can (15-1/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, undrained 1 can (11-1/2 oz.) V-8 juice 1 cup salsa (I used Muir Glen Spicy Salsa) 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chiles (I used 1 fresh jalapeno, chopped instead) 1/2 cup chopped green onions 2 Tblsp. minced fresh parsley 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, optional Combine all ingredients except cheese in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Garnish with cheese if desired. Makes 8 servings.

Been Crazy Around Here!
My van is in the shop. It's sad the dealership doesn't know whats wrong with it. It is a spankin brand new 2006 KIA Sedona. They don't know what is wrong with it. My husband gets in it yesterday and it doesn't want to start. So I meet him at the dealership with my keys. Well my keys doesn't work either. By the way, we have anti theft keys, which means that they are programmed for that specific car. So its sucks, we are without a vehicle right now. Til they figure out what is wrong with it and fix it. So my husband is walking around town trying to meet his appointments that was scheduled. We do have a warranty on the van. So at least that will be covered. RB

Hello! Today I want to write about something that happened during the prison ministry and what a blessing it was to have been included in "G-d's special time". The week started on Wednesday of last week and lasted through Saturday evening. What a time it was! I began getting sick the week before we were to go in to the prison. I had decided that it was evil spirits attacking to keep me from G-d's work to be done. I also decided to go to the Doc and explain what my plans were for the week. Not very much to my surprise, I was privileged to get a christian doctor who knew about the ministry and put me on a double dose of high powered decongestants and antibiotics in order to function during this very special time. This is a testamony that I have to share with you all. I was to give a talk to these ladies inside on Thursday morning. Much to my amazement, after my talk with these ladies, I had a miraculous recovery! Satan could not keep me down! I prayed for G-d to NOT allow satan to attack

Good Ol’ Pork Barbecue
Ingredients: 2 Tbsp canola oil 1 small onion, minced 2 cup catsup 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 cup water 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp chili powder ½ tsp cayenne 1 ½ lb cooked pork tenderloin, shredded or cubed into small pieces 6 slices toasted French, Italian or multi-grain bread Instructions: 1. Mix together all the ingredients to make the sauce. EXCEPT THE PORK AND BREAD. 2. Over a medium heat let the mix cook uncovered for 15 minutes, Make sure the onion is softened 3. Prepare the pork and combine it with the sauce. Let cook for 5 minutes 4. Take the pork filling and pour it over each of the slices of bread and serve. Statue of Dennis the Menace stolen Sat Oct 28, 6:59 AM ET The mischievous Dennis the Menace has gone missing — except this time, he's not hiding because he broke the rules. A statue of the perennial pint-sized troublemaker that stood for almost two decades in a city park was unbolted and stolen sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, police said. Police said the statue, which is 3 feet tall and weighs 125 pounds, is worth as much as $30,000. The city is offering a $5,000 reward for its safe return. The statue was crafted by Carmel artist Wah Ming Chang. It was commissioned by Hank Ketcham, the cartoon character's creator who died in 2001. Police aren't sure how the thief or thieves got the bulky statue out of the park but are asking the public for any tips about Dennis' whereabouts.

Happy Halloween!!
Well, last night we had a big halloween party! I love Halloween!! We all met up at this really trendy pub and freaked everyone out with our costumes. But there must have been a full moon or something cos we were sat by the door and in the space of like half an hour we saw 4 fights!! Me Bitching
I haven't been on this site very long,but, I have noticed something rather strange to me. I have noticed that when someone places a blog for support of the troops there seems to be very little, but, place a blog about personal problems or problems in your lives there seems to be an over abundance of responses. The same can be said for bulletins.I noticed for awhile there was quite a bit of correspondence about our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. What happened, everybody lose interest? If that is the case, SHAME ON YOU. For those that still have interest in the matter, friends and family of those serving can go to a website called "patriot guard.org." My Love/hate Relationship With Halloween...
Halloween. I am going to have to say that I have I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this holiday. I love how my kids get around this time of year. The one time of year they get to dress up and act stupid (other then school plays). But most of all the way they act when they pull in all that CANDY!! As per a comment in a previous post, I've decided to make an entire post about Religion and The Bible. And Boy, am I already preparing for the heatwave. LOL The Bible, and God from the Bible has caused more wars, and more death than anything else on the planet. I am deeply sorry if anyone feels insulted by this, but I've read the bible . . . way too many times. I was born and raised into the LDS church (thank the gods I've completely blown off religion now), and I find way too many inconsistencies in organized religion. One verse says this, yes the very next verse completely contradicts what the first verse said, and back and forth it goes. Whether it was God's intention or not to stop Abraham before he killed Isaac is beside the point . . . the fact that "God" asked him to sacrifice Isaac to prove faith and love . . . in my opinion, that's complete lunacy. Craig's Surgery...
Here's how the lovely day went... Keeva didn't go to bed til around 4:30 am.. about an hour before I had to get up and go with Craig... Yea.. they attempted to wake me up but I couldn't get up. Then at about 7:30 Judy came home and woke me up saying that Craig wanted me there when he got up from surgery so I got ready and left. They found two hernia's in him. A large one that we knew about.. and then one that we didn't know about. Everything went fine though in the surgery room so that made me happy. When they let us back there he looked really angery.. but then again he was in pain.. They wouldn't let him leave until is pain level went down so we were there for about an hour after he got outta surgery. He's done everything that he's needed to so far which is good.
