A Few Days
in just over a week I'm going upto NJ to visit family and friends and also to bring back my niece, trinity. It's going to be a wonderful 3 days...however, Im going to be without Kevin for the whole time. Thats really going to suck cause we havent been apart over night since before I got pregnant!

Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes; cut into squares.

I just got home from taking my sister to work...on my way this is what I saw... I was heading up the road and got to the stop light. OK so I went to a haunted house last night. I'm usually not a fan because they're lame for the most part, but after a substantial amount of brow beating, and a chance of hooking up with a really hot girl, I went. I have been thinking about my life the choices I have made. All of us makes choices in our lives bout are the choices we make the right one always. It is true that we do not make the right choice everytime but what is more important is how we see it. I have come to learn to see things in a more poitive way and take things as they come. What is the point of crying or telling yourself how sad your life is. I have learned tolook at life in a more positive way, like having a loving family who loves me no matter what or having a boyfriend who would do anything to make you happy. The Things You Can Realize In About Two Hours!
It's weird how life works sometimes! You can constantly surprise yourself or see many things about life that maybe you haven't seen before or may have just forgotten. For myself and maybe one other person (at least I would hope to think so), a simple phone conversation brought about quite a lot of thoughts stirring through my mind. No. I'm escorting a soldier home. Going to pick him up? No. He is with me right now. He was killed in Iraq, I'm taking him home to his family. The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut. It was an honor for him. He told me that, although he didn't know the Soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier's family and felt as if he knew them after many conversations in so few days. Salute To The 2007 Rockies
I know they didn't go all the way, but it was a wild year down at Coors field this summer. There was a time where the Rockies were the talk of the town. The Blake Street Bombers sold out all of the their games. And prior to the opening of Coors field, they drew 75,000 a game to mile high stadium, a record that won't be broken. But the lows have been here for the last decade or so. I know its gone back and forth, where the team would give us hope, only to crush it. This season was no different. After the hope of spring training, this team played awful for April and the beginning of May. Then they go on a run, taking two of three from the Red Sox, sweeping the Yankees, only to lose 10 in a row. And this went on all season. Some of you know that I have been having behavioral problems with my son, well last month he screwed up pretty bad. Partly his fault , partly his fathers. They and a couple of others were arrested (made the front page , luckly it was way out of town) Well I signed for his bail and allowed him to remain at our house with some new rules. Well of course he followed them for about a week and then went on to be a bad ass again. I'm was trying to cut him a break because I know he is probably dealing with some major head trips because of the seriousness of his arrest.( They got pulled over with 90 pounds of pot. Computer No No's......
First of all, you should never turn your computer off while you're in the middle of a program or if you have a bunch of windows open. You need to always close out all your programs and windows before shutting down your computer. If a program freezes up on you, always try to use Ctrl + Alt + Del before you do anything else. Another thing you should never do is turn your computer off and then turn it back on without waiting at least 60 seconds. Today was a hard day for me, After rushing my cat Chester to the emergency vet last night, we followed up with his normal vet this morning to find out he had a heart disease, among a few other complications and was in very bad shape. They exhausted all options for him to try to save him, but in the end I decided that the best thing to do for him was to put him down. The hardest decision I have ever had to make. But since he was getting worse and all we were doing was buying time, the meds didn't help him. I guess this was his time, after 10 years with me. Anyone that was honored to have known him, knew that he was the most friendly, loveable cat you could ever meet. My heart is breaking, but I know in my heart it was what was best for him, he isn't in anymore pain or suffering. He was loved imensly and will be missed terribly! Korissa

How It Feels To Be Engaged
Wow, it feels so good being engaged to my real life boyfriend. I love him with all of my heart and soul. He asked me to marry him last week on V-day. National Zoo
No not the Capitol, the actual zoo. In the six hours I was in DC, I spent 3 of them in the National Zoo. Which by the way is on a steep hill. Sadistically planned so that people with young children start off casually pushing their strollers down Olmsted Walk until they get to the bottom. Here they change into out of shape sherpas huffing and puffing their way back to Connecticut Avenue or whatever parking lot they started from. It was a cold day on my visit and there were few sherpas. Fat Sherpas aside some of the signs explaining the animals were hilarious. Take for instance that of the Dama Gazelle. Worst Zombie-movie Ever
Right, I just saw the worst zombie-movie ever, Automation Transfiusion. Not only had they did a crappy camera-job BUT there were so many "mistakes". For example, how many zmbies would close the door when leaving a room? They couldn't even think of an ending for the movie so in the middle of an action-scene it just cut to a blackscreen that said "to be continued". Don't wátch this, you will just get pissed off.

Since I joined Fubar, it always worked equally well on my Linux computer and on Windows XP, using Firefox on both of them. Suddenly about a week ago, as soon as I go to Fubar, Firefox crashes on Linux. No other website does that. I can access almost any kind of media with Linux, and java and flash work fine. So I must wonder, what changed in Fubar? Did the Fubar programmers, unfamiliar with Linux, erroneously add something incompatible? Or did Microsoft, desperately trying to maintain its monopolistically obtained market share, slip something into code they induced Fubar to use? Have any other Linux users experienced this problem? Damage Report
I keep finding myself asking myself the question, "When is it ever gonna end?" almost every day when it pertains to my health, and I don't see an answer coming anytime soon. But I really don't need an answer for down the road at this point - I'll settle for what is happening right now! Let me bring everybody up to speed as best I can. A lot of this I don't remember - a lot I am hearing from other people such as doctors and my family, but some of my thought processes and memories are pretty bad right now. Just please remember (or know - for the benefit of those who don't know already), I am typing this from a hospital bed! Saturday afternoon I was brought to the hospital by ambulance because I had a massive seizure. (My mother and sister found me convulsing and called 911.) I was brought into the ER and then into the ICU in critical condition. Many tests were run to find out what caused the seizure and how bad this one really was (if they have answers, I don't know them).

Well.... I am about fed up with fubar at the moment. Between those that insist on a rating of 10 or higher and those that say it is not being honest to rate someone you don't know a 10 or higher, I am fed up with the whole thing. A friend of mine who is new to fubar was rated a 1 and blocked because the mouse slipped and they didn't notice it. It was later resolved, but the very same night I was told I was not believable because I rated people I don't know 10s and 11s. I thought I was being nice. I think most people whether I know them or not, deserve credit for being an individual and that is what I rate. Kids And A Can Of Pop
Since I know he won't post this, I will. So this morning Calli almost walks in on James in the bathroom, but tells him that she has a pop for him. So he comes downstairs, and she's gotten a pop out for him, and one for her. She asked him to open it up for her. Then she told him that she wanted to make coffee, so he helped her make him coffee, although he really didn't want any at the time. Then, tonight, after supper, Calli asked him if he was done with his plate, and then took his plate from him and took it to the kitchen for him. While I was typing this, my oldest daughter was eating a piece of garlic bread and decided that she didn't want it. She asked around a little bit to ask if someone wanted it, but didn't ask James. Calli chimes in "You didn't ask James!!!" and acted all indignant about it. Sooo.. he still calls the kids "its" and all, but he did admit that they're cute.

Live From Silver City......
A lot has happened in the last few weeks. Got an amazing job offer, one I could not refuse. Had to move 1500 miles west to New Mexico, got in on 4/15. Will be out here alone for a bit. Baching it for a while..family can't follow right now and hopefully they will be here in July. They say a change of scenery is good for the mind and soul...I am hoping that all of this is a sign that things are starting to get better...

My Sisters Heart
Well my mom just called. My sister had a Heart Catheter done this morning. They did not have good news for us. Nothing is good about anything when ya have your heart tested I guess. She has 90% blockage in one artery. The doctor will be in to talk to us after he does his other operations. We already know they are going to have to do 1 bypass but not sure about how many more. We knew it wasnt looking good when we went to the hospital yesterday and she was in a critical care area of the Heart Wing. She is in the Spartenburg Regional Hospital. Scared, but we are there for and with her. Just Please prey for her. We are all scared but I know nowhere as scared as she is.. She is just 50 years old... Thanks for reading.. Sisters Ongoing Battle
Well today at 12 noon, the doctors came in and told everyone that my sister could not have her bypass surgery today. They had already taken x-rays of her arteries in her neck. And , the one on the left side of her neck is 80% closed. So today they had to go in and operate on her neck. Open the artery up and clean it out. Close her back up and prey they got all the blockage. They had to do this operation first to allow a better passage for blood to flow to her brain for the bypass. They took her back at 1pm and we didnt see her until 730pm.. Such a long day. Doctor said she did really good during it all. If she stays stable, her bypass will be Monday. If she gets worse over the weekend, they will do an emergency bypass. So far, the doctors say 3 arteries, but maybe all 5 once they get in there. She looked good when she came out of surgery. Good color, nodded her head when we spoke to her. But, of course still drugged really heavily. Under the circumstances she looked good,

This past weekend I lost my best friend she was my cat T.K. she was at home when she died we stayed with her until 3:30 in the morning when she took her last breath of life . Feeling Lost And Behind

Update - Moving.........
Taking a guess, I'm about 80% moved. It has been a long time since I felt this tired.....I did get 4 hours of sleep last night, thank the Goddess! Basically, I have two dressers and small stuff yet to move. I think I get the microwave, as well, although I could do without it, no problem. The kids would have issues without the microwave, lol. Long Awaited Reunion
It was 11:30 on Friday, June 30th and I decided to be spontaneous. I was going to go to Rimouski. I didn't even know if I was going to find what I was searching for, but I had luck. My daughter was there. I was afraid she wasn't going to be there. Luckily, she had just got back from her grandmother's house. It had been two years since I've seen her due to some reasons that I choose not to mention. I'll just tell you that it was not by my own choice. Daddy did not come empty-handed. She had been bugging her mother for a new bike for a while now. Daddy delivered. Boy is she ever a happy girl!
