last night....speaking to a passenger as she sat there on the platform, lost after having taken the wrong train, re-assuring her at 1:40am in her nervousness and apprehension over her situation alone there...i somehow noticed some markings on the floor...among all the other ones-each of them dark... these were different though as i saw them start to form some odd pattern-abstract yet connected. it was a trail...and the colour of these was that of a deep red/brown....of blood, dried up and soaked deeply into the porous concrete. following my eyes to the conclusion of the trail they were met by a pool-dry, and away from it a smaller collective. what then....? a fist fight? a knifing? who could tell....it needed to be cleaned up and sanitised lest any bio-hazard emerge posing a possible threat... and then at the next station all up this zigzagged ramp was another trail starting from a brown and flaking smear....what have we come to? clean up is routine. so is the appearance, and i

Death Happens To All Ages...
Well this morning another family member has passed away... This is my second loss this year and my 5th since January 07' My Aunt was 55 married for 37 years 3 grown kids and 3 grand kids... She has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for 25+ years and her fight with this disease is over... The Dr's are unaware of exactly why she decelerated so quickly. She went to the hospital a couple weeks ago because of a UTI and then she got a bowel infection... She had an irregular heart rate on Sunday... Monday she went to ICU... She remained in ICU Tuesday morning about 12:30am her kidney's started to not work properly so they had her on dialysis from 4am yesterday till she passed away this morning... I Cant Keep Doing This

Have you ever found yourself giving all you have for others and just not getting any appreciation in return? So its time for another election. Time to elect a new president ( thank God). I have some opinions on Elections. Thought id share. Since I see the things i dislike all over fuland and quite frankly everywhere I look. People that shove politics down peoples throat disgust me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and their opinion may be "No Politics". Dont try to tell them they are stupid or wrong for not voting. their choice. If they do wanna vote. Dont tell people who to vote for! We all have our own beliefs and party affiliations. Nonna Victoria's Lasagna recipe from Bove's of Vermont and Boves Cafe located at 68 Pearl Street Burlington, Vermont * 2 jars Bove’s Marinara Sauce (or try the Vodka Sauce) * ¾ lb. lasagna noodles (about 24 pieces. Don't forget to criss-cross your noodles.) * ⅓ lb. thinly sliced Mozzarella cheese * 2 Tbs. fresh chopped Italian parsley * ¾ lb. Well, I am once again back in Mobile for damn near a week ! Woo Hoo ! I get close to another wek with Rebecca and tonight is really relaxing for the most part. Toasted Almond Chicken Salad
Prep Time:15 min Start to Finish:30 min makes:4 Servings 3 small chicken breast halves 3 stalks celery, sliced 1 bunch fresh chives, finely chopped 1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt 1/4 cup light sour cream 1 1/2 teaspoons dried tarragon leaves 2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted Salt, if desired Freshly ground black pepper, if desired 1 bag (10 oz) mixed salad greens 1. Interfuron
So we went to Hillman Cancer Center today and the doctors say Jess will need to be on interfuron,a different type of chemo,for a year. With the interfuron there are less side effects.She wont lose her hair but she will have flu-like symptoms for a year.The symptoms will be at there worst for the first month. They will be surgically inserting a port sometime this week so they can start treaments on monday the 8th.I then have to take her to Hillman mon-fri to have the interfuron injected through the port. However after 30 days of this they remove the port and she will be able to have the injections 3 times a week at home for the next 11 months.This is actually the best way to go and Hillman is the best from what I have heard! Her doctor did also say that so far she is already 60% cured and that the interfuron will take that up to 85% cured Thanks again to all my friends who have kept her in their thoughts and prayers!!

She Pissed Me Off Lol
Why cant anything just go right?So Jess is doing her home injections and I got a little worried about some side effects.They are the same side effects I brought to their attention when she went through the initial 30day IV phase.Her eyes were bothering her and she was getting headaches.As I read the insert in the box of her injection it sayd prior to taking the interfuron the patient should have an eye exam and if any eye problems occur during treatment to seek advice immediatly.So I called and wanted an appointment asap.Keep in mind that we told them bout eye problems before and they said it wa normal.So we go in to the doctor on 2-2-09 and of course the doctor doesnt even see her,he sends his assistant who I dont like anyway.She is the type that when you are talking she talks over you and has a way to make you feel 2 feet tall.Well she says she is worried and want Jess to STOP her interfuron until she sees an opthomologist and gets an MRI.So she goes and gets a card and had a dr's na

System Resets Do What? Did You Know?
I found this interesting and just wanted to make sure everyone else out there knew this information. Normally, I wouldn't check, but I noticed NO photo views for the entire day so far. Also, I noticed yesterday my friend requests counts had changed as I hit HOME first thing in morning--weird, but figured it was me. Today, I had none, but when I sent to look at bartab to see about the photo views, I counted SIX friend requests that I had received, but they don't show as pending anymore. I never approved them and wouldn't have even known I missed getting them except the coincidental look at the bartab...so These people would assume I ignored their friend requests. I went to support to see what was up, and this is the answer I received. I understand system operations, computers, servers, etc...but for friend requests primarily to just disappear bother me because I review each one individually and rarely deny one---SO What are you missing during these RANDOM system reset

I've got so much going on in my life now. I am planning a move to Georgia in a couple of weeks. It's been in the works for quite a while. Horrible Week
My Unusually Horrible Week: This week I have had an unusually horrible week. I started off the week hoping that my voice has gotten better. A few weeks ago I used a nasal spray that I ended up having a bad reaction with. My voice has been hoarse and barely working since then. It's very frustrating trying to talk with a fucked up voice. Petition For Missing Angels Bill - Stillborn Birth Certificates.
I read an article in People magazine this past December that really touched my heart in a very personal way. Last year my oldest daughter lost her beautiful baby boy, Emillio due to some medical complications she had during her pregnancy. We had to fight so hard to get a death certificate for him. Sadly, they would not issue him a birth certificate. To people who have not gone through this they may not understand the pain that goes along with the state or anyone else not acknowledging the fact that your beautiful child was here in this world, if only for a short amount of time. The MISS foundation is trying to change this. I would have loved to have been able to print out this wonderful article that was in the December 11,2006 People magazine , unfortunatlly I was unable to cut and paste. I just realized that the sunroof has been open on my car for about 2 weeks. It has rained here several times too. I was going to put it in my garage to charge the battery a little. I took my son to the Jc's haunted house last night it was fun! First of all my son is not sscared of anything. A New Sorority
I was in a sorority in College. While in college these were the girls I turned to, the girls who were going through the same things I was, and the girls I knew would always be there. Meeting A Friend For First Time....
Last night was a first and one i treasure with all my heart. I met someone i have talked to on here for over a year. We have had our ups, downs, laughter and share of tears but have remained in each other's hears despite it all. It was an amazing thing to see her for the first time. I hugged her so tight cuz we have been through so much together and hadn't even had the chance to meet until now. OK...so as I am creeping up on my 2 year anniversary on here...the one thing I am noticing is that pages of pictures of the opposite sex fall into basically 2 catagories... 1. Tons of pictures of themselves and friends from ALL angles...standing, sitting, naked, whatever...you get a real sense of who they are by the people around them and by seeing ALL of them. Not naked..but head to toe anyhow. 2. The "Headshot Queens" You can go look at over 200 of basically the SAME picture of their face snapped in shitty lighting with a web cam.
