Crazy That..
I am sitting here crying...and I am sure its mostly because I had a long night at work and I am exhausted...but I ventured into the mumms this morning, and there was one that touched my heart. It has been ten years since my grandmother passed away. A lot has changed through the years...but yet I sit here longing to have another hug and pep talk. My grama was my biggest fan :) She'd smack me silly if she knew I was crying. She had spunk...and all the generosity of spirit and friendship I have I owe to her. She showed me how to be selfless...to put others first, priorities in place..and how to make burnt lace curtains on a fried egg. I was cleaning out a file cabinet today and found a DVD, there for nearly three years, just gradually being buried under installation software and owners manuals. It was the DVD of the 2005 cheerleading championships that my daughter’s squad won when she was a senior in high school. As a matter of fact I cried like I did three years ago. Simple Lemon Herb Chicken

So after landing my new job as a Wal-Mart greeter, I lasted less than a day. About two hours into my first day on the job a very loud, unattractive, mean-acting woman walked into the store with her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance. As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, 'Good morning, and welcome to Wal-Mart. Nice children you have there. Are they twins?' The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, 'NO, they ain't TWINS. The oldest one's 9, and the other one's 7. WHY would you think they're twins? Are you BLIND, or just STUPID?' So I replied, 'I'm neither blind nor stupid, Ma'am, I just couldn't believe you got laid twice. Have a good day, and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart.' My supervisor said I probably wasn't cut out for this line of work.

My computer is on the firtz right now, so I'm back to playing some console games. Not that that is a bad thing, it's nice to have a little variety in life. I downloaded a played Castle Crashers this past week. I gotta say it was a cute fun game. It's a 2D platformer with a decent sense of humor. You play a knight that sets out to recover the kingdom's stolen treasure, as well as saving the four beautiful (doe-eyed) princesses. The game has a world view where you can select which level you want to play, like Super Mario Bros. 3. Death In Family
I had a relative who was in a accident this morning her children were with her. Her 11 yr old daughter died at the scene & the mother is in very critical condition they don't expect her to make it. Her son only had minor injuries. This accident was caused by her speeding because her kids were late for school she lost control going aroung a curve. SO the next time you think that speeding is accepted tell that to someone who loses a child. Please keep the mother in your prayers!

I guess my love goes all the back to how I got into riding. Just trying to pedal and go fast. That's been a constant and I certainly can say I love it. New Life In Orlando
Just an Update everyone because it's the most commonly asked, How I'm doin so far. Well I drove down in my chevy impala from Watertown NY to Orlando Fl. Just my kid, the dog and I with only the stuff that I could pack into it. My sis helped me find a very reasonable and wonderful community to move into which was ready for me when I arrived. The trip down was such and adventure seeing all the different towns and cities as I passed through them. I really enjoyed it a lot. I couldn't bring my bike with me so I left it with my bestfriend and will get it in the summer when I go back to visit. So far I haven't made too many friends yet but everyone I've met so far seems really nice. Only time will tell on who sticks and who doesn't. I still haven't figured out yet on how i'm going to manage school and work full time because the field I want to study requires a lot of hands on. New Info On The Contest!!!
Okay, so I got a little bit more info on the contest. As you know, the next round is going to be at the Serra Bowl on May 13th. There will be 12 Singers competing that night and 2 will move on to the next round which will be on May 19th at the Serra Bowl. There will be 22 people competing there from other bowling alleys and 11 will move on to the next round. 8-17-08 50th Entry
2 days left till surgery. I've been struggling with a lot of emotions. I've tried several times to make myself update this but my mind just wants to jump like rabbits. For a few days I even had incessant chattering going on in my brain that was driving me mad! Thank Goddess for Bill and Sue. They helped get that slowed down. BTW by the incessant chatter I mean I couldn't stop thinking and wondering about anything and everything and it was to the point I couldn't even rest right. Between the stress of everything thats going on here and concerns over surgery and after thoughts, I'm turning into someone far from my normal me. It worries me. Heck what ISN'T worrying me lately. Seems every one of my dearest friends have something going on, anywhere from roommate's issues to online family thats got health problems. I know for the most part I can't do anything other then send up prayers and try to be there for them when then need to vent. I'm sucking at that big time lately tho.

Lately, I've actually felt better, so I've been working on a project. My wife found an old bed frame, so we've been painting it for the boy, so he can get rid of his bunk beds. It wasn't in the best shape, but we sanded it down some, and primered it, and then the quest for a color. We decided on a metallic purple. Actually he did. I was all for it, my wife didn't like it, but it's his bed, so why not. I told her he could always repaint it if he didnt like it. I have the bed 3/4 of the way painted, and it looks great. We rented this mostly because my wife thinks Keanu Reeves is hot. I was excited because it wasn't one of the horrible, sappy love movies he comes out with. Week 3
Week 3 was a good week for Team Priapism. I started out hot, with just two players playing the early game, and they hit for a combined 33 points. Luckily for me, because the rest of my recievers didn't do much of anything. Marion Barber had his usual good week, my kicker and defense were average. Looking back, I played the wrong defense, but it didnt cost me too much. Jacksonville outscored Green Bays by 4 points, and I had played Green Bays. I'd be singing a different tune if I had lost by 3 lol. By Monday, I still had two players playing, they had one, and I was leading by 25. A Little Something...
I wanted to give a little update as to why I haven't been around much... Things in my life have gotten a little complicated. My hours got cut at work and some really serious issues have come to pass there. This time of year is very rough for me. I fall into depression and have been dealing with anxiety attacks. It's a cycle I'm trying really hard to break and it's hard. Taking meds isn't an option at this point as they tend to make me sleep all the time, and well I just can't afford that. Nor is it fair to the people I love. If you know me you know I will pull out of this eventually, and the love and support of my family is a staying hand in the road I'm on. Anyone who has had experience with depression or anxiety knows that somedays it's just an uphill battle to keep a smile on your face. I'll be back on a more regular basis when I get me straightened back out, until then yes I check my messages and I even come and rate.

Well I was in houston the week after Ike hit, helping to undo the destruction. I have been back for a couple weeks and just am now able to find words to describe everything I saw and experienced. I watched my aunt pass away because everyone was so worried about my uncle they didnt see she was sick. Now everyones worrying about my father and not realizing that my mother is just as bad. She puts off her health problems and concerns to be their for her children. It kills me to think that I can lose her, shes my best friend and the only one that knows my hopes and dreams. Salsa Biscuit Chicken
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) * 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves * 1 onion, chopped * 1 cup salsa * 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese * 1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough * add to recipe box Add to Recipe Box My folders: * add to shopping list Add to Shopping List * add a personal note Add a Personal Note DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add chicken breasts, and boil until easily shredded, about 20 minutes. 2. Saute onion in a medium saucepan until soft. Remove from heat and stir in salsa, then stir in cheese until melted. Add chicken and mix all together. 3. Roll out biscuits individually, adding a little of the chicken mixture to each one; then roll up, secure with toothpicks and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. 4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 10 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and hot.

Mexican Cornbread
1 lb Ground meat Salt & pepper to taste 1 c Chopped onion 1/2 lb Grated American cheese 3 Jalapeno peppers finely chop 1 c Cornmeal 3 Large eggs 1/2 ts Soda 3 tb Bacon drippings 1 c Sweet milk 1 ts Salt Make batter by mixing together the cornmeal, eggs, soda, drippings, milk, and salt. Mix well. Brown meat and drain off grease. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Add 1/2 batter then sprinkle on the meat, onions, peppers, and last add cheese. Cover with remaining batter. Cook at 350 degrees F. for about 45 minutes. Serve hot.

Finally!
The guy from GE finally came and fixed my washing machine. It's only a month a half that I've been without a working washing machine. Since he was here I decided to ask about my dish washer. Yup, it was broken too. And it's been broken since the day I moved in. This stuff is supposed to be brand new. Somehow I always get shit like this. People U Hurt
There are times in a persons life when they say things that are hurtful to others and wish they had never said them, but they say them and its to late. Things move on and that person you care deeply for still wont forgive and it hurts you now. They tell you its ok and we are still friends but you know in our heart that the hurt you caused is still there and they are to STUBBORN to let you back in coz u might hurt them again. That person you miss that was there for you is no longer there, they tell you they are but you there arent really, coz they dont really talk to you any more and kinda block you out to a point. One day they might finally forgive you so keep your chin up dont let it fall coz they arent there to pick it back up for you, or maybe that person will be the one to make you smile and laught when you want to cry.

Prep Time:30 min Start to Finish:1 hr 30 min makes:6 servings 1 can (15 oz) Progresso® chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained 1 can (2 1/2 oz) sliced ripe olives, drained 1 medium bell pepper, chopped (1 cup) 1medium tomato, seeded, chopped (3/4 cup) 2 tablespoons chopped red onion 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1/2 cup fat-free Italian dressing 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 1/2 lb) 2 tablespoons fat-free Italian dressing 1. Effing Day
I need to purge this outta my head so I can hopefully relax once I get the kids. This day was such a fucking emotional roller coaster I could hurl. Literally. Started out WAY too early, got the kids ready and off to day care, then came home to get myself ready. Coffe, shower, trying to put on panty hose I ripped a huge hole in the knee. Much swearing until I realize that I have some nude back seam stockings...sexiness, yay!. Finish getting ready and realize I'm leaving about 10 minutes later than I had hoped. No biggie. I can make up the time on the highway. Flashing lights thought otherwise. Very sweet officer, introduced himself. Asked me where I was going, where I was coming from, whether I had an appointment. When I very honestly said it was for a job, he handed my stuff back to me and told me to be careful. That started the first crying jag of the day. Frankfort Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year old girl, who police say, was taken by her father who is armed and possibly suicidal. The Amber Alert was issued at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Police say Breanna Woodside was last seen early Friday morning when her father, 30-year old Miles Woodside picked her up at the Frankfort Police Department. Woodside was supposed to have returned the child to the mother at 4:00 Friday, but did not. Breanna Woodside is 2-years old, 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. Good News
Sorry it's been so long since i've checked in. I've gone through alot these past few months. I went through 8 days of chemo, 29 external radiation treatments (thw side effects of this were much worse than the chemo), as well as 3 internal radiations that required surgery and a 2 day hospital stay. I have to say all the prayers have blessed me and as of Monday when they did surgery the doctor saw no visible signs of cancer, meaning the tumor was no longer there. He did the internal radiation to try to kill off any cells he wasn't seeing. I don't have to go back to the dr til April and we are quite confident I am in remission. Please continue the prayers that the cancer stays gone. Thanks for being such awesome friends! Much love and respect, Jackie
