Truck hits child in Mesa, drives away Comments 2| Recommend 1 David Biscobing, Tribune Police have arrested a woman suspected of running over a 3-year-old boy with her truck and driving away in Mesa on Saturday afternoon. The boy was riding a tricycle on a sidewalk in the xxxx block of E. xxxxxx Street, near xxxxxxxx Drive and xxxxxxxx Road, just after 3:30 p.m. As he crossed over a driveway, the woman backed over the boy, trapping him under the truck. The boy’s father saw it happen. When he sprinted up to the truck and began pounding on the windows to get her to stop, she drove away, police said. However, she was picked up shortly later when patrol officers spotted her truck driving down Alma School Road. The boy remains in serious condition, police said. Divorce Issues
As many of you know, friends and those who actually read my profile....I am going through the divorce process. My soon to be ex...(fucktard) has been stalling with the separation agreement for months, which has made me stay under the same roof...seperate beds and rooms of course since Oct. So tonight, after a few heated moments, I tried to walk away from, he got in my face..literally...every cuss word under the sun I was called, while my son was crying, he picked him up, continued to yell in my face, spitting and cussing while my son was in his arms, my daughter screamed as he was about to head butt me, and punch me in the face. She ran screaming to the neighbour's, who happends to be a social worker who used to work for children's services, who I spoke with, in which encouraged me to call the police since he had my son in the house and locked the doors, wouldn't let him go. Police came, asked him the situation, he left for the night. I am here, not able to sleep for fear he will ret

Thinking...
If anyone is reading this that knows alittle a bit about me ..then they should know I am always in thought. I look back now and I see all the blessings that I have had...the unforgetable people that have crossed my path..and the lessons I have gathered from them. And to be truthful I am thankful also for those who inflicted pain and confusion for those are what truly make me who I am today. We all at certain points in our lives realize that dwelling in the past only postpones us from growing and becoming what we should be in full. I myself back-track sometimes but also use these thoughts and lessons in days lived now.This last year has been a roller-coaster.Sometimes I believe I deserve better...mainly because I lose who I am sometimes..therefor I wonder if this my path or is it an obstacle..is there something here for me to learn..or is there something I need to teach?

A Smile....
Isn't it funny, how a smile can have some much effect. We look at them all day, some up close, some from afar, some even indirect. Isn't it funny how some go this way and that. Nervousness
Wow, I just had a call that entailed a phone interview for a women's transitional shelter. I have the one on one interview on Thursday if I can make it into town. For those that know I have been staying with my mom since I came back from Germany at the the end of November. Sure being here is cool and all, but it is like being in jail with the ability to go outside. There is no public transportation and she works at 4am and is in bed by 6pm. I do NOT want to do this shelter thing, it scares the holy living piss out of me. Right now I have been on a state grant for my knee, was going through physical therapy so theres not much there either. The only way I could stay at my moms is if I were to be able to get a car and seek work. I am scared to death over all this. If I get accepted into this shelter the rules are not real difficult, it would just regulate what kind of job I can have since you have to be there nightly for dinner. I am so confused and so lost. Friday night I was at my local high school football game. Sure it's part of my job, but I'm also a fan. It was the 4th quarter, and the coach pointed for Zach to go into the game. In Memory Of Eve
It has been years since Eve has been gone... I know I will never forget the beautiful creations and person that she was, and her silent suffering that she could no longer control. The kind of suffering many of us have that are too afraid to speak about, and by many just gets passed off as nothing that is truly a serious problem. Apple Crunch Muffins
1 1/2 c Unbleached flour, sifted 1/2 c Sugar 2 ts Baking powder 1/2 ts Salt 1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1/4 c Vegetable shortening 1 Large egg, slightly beaten 1/2 c Milk 1 c Tart apples * Nut crunch topping * Apples are to be washed and cored. Shred the unpeeled apples for recipe. ~--------------------------------------------------------------------- ~--- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until fine crumbs form. Combine egg and milk. Add to dry ingredients all at once, stirring just enough to moisten. Stir in apples. Spoon batter into paper-lined 2 1/2-inch muffin-pan cups, filling 2/3rds full. Sprinkle with nut crunch topping. Bake in 375 degree oven 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and homemade jelly or jam. NUT CRUNCH TOPPING: Mix together 1/4 c brown sugar (packed), 1/4 c chopped pecans and 1/2 t ground cinnamon in small bowl.

Interview
Well I just got home from the interview for the transitional place. They asked a lot of questions pertaining to family history and mental illnesses and such. She said one thing she noticed from my answers is that I isolate myself, and asked if they chose for me to have a psyche test done if to be allowed if I would do it, and I said of course. She asked me about my fears, what I wanted out of the program and all sorts of other things. I guess there were 3 interviews scheduled today, and I was the only one that showed up, She also had me sign a release from when I went to treatment as well as one for my dr. I'm writing this out for my friends who have been wondering whats going on with my health and new apartment and such. Forgive me if parts don't sound right or aren't in order - sleep deprivation does that to a person. HEALTH STUFFZ: Cough is about 70% gone, and I'm seeing a pulminologist in a few weeks, to find out why I've been sick for so long, and why nothing seems to get rid of the wheezing. Yes, that's a little scary, and I would be quitting smoking (with Chantix) if the doc agreed to write the script, but... he won't yet - because... I'm on day 12 without sleep. No, I'm not kidding. They started the prednisone (100mg a day) Father's Day night. Since then, I haven't slept more than a few minutes without waking up wide awake, only to have to lay another hour to try to fall asleep again, to being on the verge, and poof, wide awake again. It's Going To Happen.
well... it's in the early stages of planning, but sometime in December or January I am going to be heading out.. Leaving NY. Will I be back? Dont know... There's a lot of time between now and then and things may change. At this time I know this, there is little left for me in NY/NJ anymore. I have some friends sure but thats about it. It was a beautiful day out the sun was shining, the windows were down and i was driving fast. I've Kinda Hid The Fact....
Very Few on here know that I've had to go to a Specialist. It has now been confirmed I have Lupus BUT wished that was all the bad news I have gotten. Seems he's also ran more test. I also tested positive for Osteoarthritis & Fibromyalgia. The plan so far is to start me on a treatment called Plaquenil in hopes to put it in remission. I couldn't think of what to do. My friends at work had been there for me through my time of upheaval and I wanted to show them how much it meant to me. Being very short on funds, I didn't want to just get cheap little gifts. I wanted something more meaningful. So I bought Thank you Cards, not the pre printed one either. You won't believe how liberating it is to sit and think about what one has done for you and try to truly convey your gratitude in the written word. Yes written, not typed but written. I wrote out only 7 or 8 cards to my friends, but the reaction I got was more then I expected. I was thanked and hugged for taking the time to make them feel special. ok firstly thank you for checking out my first blog in this entry i am looking to help others that may have fatigue and pain and not reliaze its fibromyalgia the symptoms vary from person to person and from day to day so bare with me ok and i will do my best to explain it first theres the not sleeping this is a serious part of fibro as we all know if we dont sleep well the affects the following day are huge imagine if you will a week of 3hrs sleep because your brain is always active always telling you things that aren't important then theres the leg twitches (restless leg syndrome) for no reason you kick out at night and can't control it then theres constant pain every single day though some days it mild and others its total agony to even walk down stairs when your partner touches you you curl up in agony you try to bath or shower and the movements make you want to yell and walking to the shops takes you ages if suddenly you seem to need the toilet quickly because your tummy hurts wher

man i am so bummed. Yesterday I had to take my hubby to work so I could go to hand bell choir practice. We only practiced an hour cause we had quite a few missing sick, and one who showed up but was sick too. Well I stayed up till midnight till he called and told me to take my medicine that he found a ride home. I was thinking are you kidding me? I could have been fast asleep a long time ago. I didn't go to sleep till around 2:30 this morning. I am so tired and stuckat work. I can't wait till 5 o 'clock. I'm going to have a glass of wine and skype with megan; a very sweet person who i consider a close friend of mine. She has ALWAYS been there for me and I will always be there for her. Ahh this weekend went by so fast. I hate when that happens. lol. Now its back to the usual stuff...classes and such. Im attempting to find another job, but i really have no idea where to start. so im going to be heading out today to search for something i suppose. Today
I am stressing out again today!. My finances are a little shorter than I want and I don't know if my huuby will remember to give me the money I asked for. I talked to my best friend last night about a lot of things. One of the things she asked me was how were things with $$$. I said we have barely enought to keep the bills paid and I get frustrated because we need a little more and I know I can do what needs to be done to get the little more. What happens is I just get so frustrated with the lack of that I get stuck and don't go out and do what needs to be done to bring in the 50 or 100 or 200 dollars more that we need. While I was talking to my best friend about this she told me two things, 1) I'm too hard on myself and I need to stop that, 2) Try and focus on the positive and the good things I do have. First Time For Everything
Well today has been a very excellent day. After getting a great deal on the materials to finish the basement, I went to meet for the very 1st time my half-brother, from the USA. My father is his father. The man is 54, has 3 grown daughters, and 10 grand kids of his own. He looks like our father to a tee.....same facial structure, same build, but with his own personality. He is in town to meet the family and to see our father for teh 1st time too (Our father is very ill, and is currently in the hospital on a permenant basis). I havent blogged for a long time been so up to my ears in the day to day shit that has consumed my life here as "manager" of this establishment i call home. Recently I seem to be getting more and more annoyed with TV advertising. I don't know if this is because I'm getting much more old and cynical or if it's because the standard of commercials is rapidly dipping, but these days I find myself providing a running commentary through each advert break on why I hate each advert. Anyway, to come to the point, I've just seen one which really takes the biscuit: It's a commercial for a supermarket over here. The details are not important, but the tagline at the end is "because everyone deserves quality food." What an outrageous statement, I thought. I can think of a whole host of people that don't deserve any quality food... It got me quite riled.

Cinnamon Buns
1 c Milk, scalded 1/2 c Raisins, chopped 2 tb Currants 1/2 ts Cinnamon Brown sugar 2 tb Citron, finely chopped 1/2 c Yeast *dissolved in: 1/4 c Water, warm 3 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt 3 tb Butter Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to milk which has been allowed to become lukewarm. Add sugar (about 3 Tbsp), salt and flour, and knead thoroughly until it becomes a soft dough. Place the dough in a buttered bowl and butter the top of the dough. Cover bowl and put in a warm place. Permit it to stand until the dough becomes three times its original size. Roll until it is one fourth of an inch in thickness, brush with butter and spread with the raisins, currants, citron, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll as a jelly roll and cut into slices 3/4 inch thick. Place slices in buttered pans, spread well with brown sugar, and bake at 400-F for 20 minutes.

Treatments Started 12-15-08
Well we started treatments last Monday.They told me Monday's will be the long days because they do the blood work every Monday to keep track and see how well the Interfuron is working.They told me this first month would be the hardest since she gets the Interfuron 5 days a week.Mainly the side effects are high fever,shakes,fatigue.Well out of the main side effects,Jess only had the fatigue and really bad headaches.Never did she get a temp above 100 and the doctors thought I was lying because the guarenteed me she would have the fever lol.I am thinking things are looking way better than expected.Til today! Today they did the lab work to compare it to last weeks base line.I can't type it all out but the results showed her white blood cells and platelets and about 5 other tests are wayyyyy below level.Now her immune system isn't working anywhere near what it should.When the nurse saw the results she said she was gonna have the doctor come and talk to us and that they would probably pos

Well on May 11, 1997 at 22 years old. I had the bike wreck. I bought a racing bike on Tuesday put another front end and lights on it. Friday I took it to the drag strip. 2 Month Mark...
