Dust Off
First, I'm going to tell you a little about me and my family. My name is Jeff. I am a Police Officer for a city which is known nationwide for it's crime rate. We have a lot of gangs and drugs. At one point we were # 2 in the nation in homicides per capita. I also have a police K-9 named Thor. He was certified in drugs and general duty. He retired at 3 years old because he was shot in the line of duty. He lives with us now and I still train with him because he likes it. I always liked the fact that there was no way to bring drugs into my house. Thor wouldn't allow it. He would tell on you. The reason I say this is so you understand that I know about drugs. I have taught in schools about drugs. My wife asks all our kids at least once a week if they used any drugs. Makes them promise they won't. Hey everybody today for me is 2 years since my friendship with my now ex best friend Geoff ended and so i went to the movies this morning and saw The Waterhorse and it was a really awesome movie even though i saw it alone everybody would enjoy it so it's been a ok 10/1/08 for me and i Chinese for Dinner and it's the best comfort food when feeling like noone cares about you anymore so i guess you can say i surivived the 2 year anniversary of not having a best friend in my life anymore especially if i was still friends with him it would have been 19 years of friendship with him this year if the court system didn't break up my friendship with him forever from Bruce

OK... you know how you always hear about WOMEN bitching and nagging... Well.. once upon a time when I was young and stupid, 10 years ago to be exact, I married a man who can bitch and nag worse than any woman I have ever met. Divorce was final 6 years ago, and the man is still finding things to throw bitchfests over. OK.. now.. his biggest complaint is money. Our divorce left me with a Sears Card Bill, approx. $4000. OK.. the account was in his name only, and already in collections when our divorce was final. I had no access to the account even when I tried to pay it. But he has since paid the bill himself to get it off his credit report. OK FINE. He is now screaming and jumping up and down because I keep telling him I don't owe him the money. I owed it to the COMPANY. There was no written or verbal agreement between us that I would pay him back for paying it. This is also the jerkoff that is attempting to terminate his rights to my 9 yr old daughter because he says he can'

Wow I don't know where to begin! I want to thank each and every one for the love, support, cards, flowers, and prayers through this most difficult time of my life. Today was the last day of services for my daughter Katie. She has finally been laid to rest. I was overwhelmed to see SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much love from the people in Fubar. UNBELIEVABLE! I never really new that I had so many friends that REALLY care! And the LOVE! I am so blessed and so greatful. I NEVER thought I would ever have to bury one of my children but I did. It was the hardest thing I will ever do in my life, but I got through it with all the love and support from my surrounding family and friends and all of you. The Fat Disease
Being fat is an epidemic in the US so they say. But they never take the time to show one other side of the coin. I have Cushings Syndrome. Its the "fat disease". My body makes a chemical which is absorbed into the thyroid and caused me to gain weight at an unimaginable rate. You also get this hump on your back right below the neck. I gained 200 lbs in 6 months. And they thought I was just over eating. I had not changed my eating habits in that time. I did try to change things like going vegetarian for awhile to no avail. Millions suffer from it and most are undiagnosed. There is treatment for it but it is mostly a diet and some thyroid meds. After I divorced in 2000 I went into therapy cuz of the divorce and started working on losing the weight. I lost 150 lbs in a year and a half but it doesnt appear anymore will come off. Nightmares
Well it’s another sleepless night. I’m having another nightmare. They come when you least expect them and without warning. They can be triggered by anything. Mine start out with the smell of gasoline when I fuel up my truck. Or when i`m camping and have a campfire. Have you ever seen the effects of napalm on the landscape and any living thing that happens to be in its path? Napalm is basically gasoline in the form of a gel like substance so that it sticks to whatever it lands on. It puts anything in its path on fire instantly. My nightmares are filled with the smell and visions of those effects on the jungles of Vietnam and the people in them. Often times we would call in a strike from napalm because you cant see your enemy in the thick jungles and you would be taking heavy fire. The jungle would become a fast moving ball of fire. People on the fringe of the attack would run out in flames with napalm sticking to them burning out of control. We would be under orders to fire on

No menu blog tonight, but my boss finally gave me the news that he will be shutting down the florist and turning it into a full liquor bar. He already got approval from the city, and he's had people in and out bidding on the job. It's gonna cost a pretty penny, but in the long run, it will be a very good investment. Honey Napalm Deeelish!!!
I used to make mead. Srsly! It's a fun little hobby, easy once you get the hang of it, and is great for gift giving and artistry. Store-bought mead is very, very sketchy. Probably not for you Brit's though.Here's an "ad hoc" recipe for mead-like goodness in a pinch.- 2 quart cooking pan, stainless steel preferably- 1 stove- 3 lbs. honey (I guess that's about 1.5 kg of honey)- 2 to 3 cups of scotch or whiskeyRoughly, 1 part whiskey to 3 parts honey. Obviously I like a little more scotch than that...Pour in the scotch and honey. Put on a low heat, above 185 degrees F (85 degrees C) but below boiling. Wait about 20 minutes and stir it occasionally.The heating is something you MUST pay attention to. This is primarily for two reasons:1) If you boil honey for too long you'll change the "flavor" of it. Honey is a delicate flavor. It can get a slightly burnt taste to it even though it remains liquid.2) As I found out today, do NOT boil honey and scotch. Just don't do it. Especially do not cove

June 9th Update
Well, the hott and cold flashes have offically stopped and the fevers have finally broke again they found out that I had a bladder infection that they have been treating with meds... I have been doin my nightly dressing change without the iv meds and just the oral ones so that is a huge step even though instead of doin the 4 cc's they were doin by iv they are now doin 6 cc's orally but its still a huge step that i can do that part with just orals now.. The only thing I can not do yet without the iv meds is the morning dressing change when they do the pulsivac which is cleaning it out so I get the 6 cc's of meds by oral and then I get 2 cc's by push iv right before the dressing change.. I have also cut back on the pain meds a lot.. yesterday I only took 2 between the dressing changes and the day before i took 1 and before that i took none.. but it all depends on how much activitive I do during the day and if I get up in my wheelchair during the day or not because if I do i'm not use to

I always searched for someone i thought never truely existed but since i have been home i found him he was mine along time ago. although many years have passed us by and we went our seprate ways. true love will always find a way to thrust you back together again. I never would have believed this if it wouldnt have happend to me. I found my true love and he was sitting right across from me. Update On Life
I guess some or all of you are wondering what the hell is up with me lately? I can’t say I blame you. Life has been Crazy over the past few years. I did the whole going off to fight for your country thing and that was a good learning experience. I moved back to Fargo, North Dakota for a couple of reasons. First so I could finish my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Secondly, I had thought that maybe this is where I could do some good and possibly become a roll model. I've been in pain for quite some time now that is why I have not been online much. The doctor has recently found out what the problem is. I have degeneration in the back of my neck, and a disk herniation. Both of these have my spinal cord in a very bad situation. There is too much pressure being placed on my spinal cord. On the 13th of this month I will be having surgery on my spine. They have to go in and take out a section of my spine and replace it with a piece of metal. They call it cervical fusion. I love Scotland's National Health Service, I really do. For the past few weeks I've had problems with my right eye - some swelling and an itchy irritation. It wasn't giving me too much cause for concern as I have hayfever, and it just felt like a bad dose of that. I'd tried hayfever eye-drops, but to no avail. This isn't unusual because, despite what it says on the commercial, these things don't always work for everyone. My anti-histamines had no real effect either, but again this isn't unusual for me. ok let me just first say that tonight was just an awsome night all together. well i wanted to leave my house today around 1 so that Krystle and I could get to Starland early but that didnt happen. we left my house around 4:30 only having to turn back around because she forgot her ticket in her car. so after that little misshap we were on the road. the trip there was going smooth until i got off at the wrong exit and we got a little lost. by now its a little after 6 and the show is supposed to start at 7. so we are alittle freaked but we pulled into an A&P(i think it was) and got directions to get onto the right path. we found the right was to go and we got to Starland a little before 7. it was raining not hard but not light and we stood out in the rain for a good half hour cuz they didnt open doors till sometime after 7:30. well we get in and the show didnt start until after 8 but we didnt mind cuz we were really close. the first band up was Young Love and i hadnt heard these guy

Why I'm Cranky Today
I apologize if I have been crankier than usual to some of you today and/or a bit spacy. On top of the usual kid junk I'm having to deal with: Last night I chipped part of the back of one of my teeth so that hurts like heck. My son broke my TV this morning and I can't afford to fix it or get a new one. About 5 minutes ago I discovered something happened with the aerator on my sons fish tank so his 4th birthday present, his gold fish, is dead. On payday, we discovered the check was cut in half and I have checks bouncing so I'm stressed about that. I'm sorry, I don't mean to take it out on anybody. PS. I went awhile back to Petsmart and adopted a cute kitty to replace my old man Baxter whom I'd had since college - he was there with me through painful times, like my divorce, and was very loving and cuddly (just like a dog). So I found a cat that looked JUST like Baxter & I couldn't resist. Well - they told me... it was a fixed female. I looked and said ... uh.... this is an un-fixed male. They told me I was wrong. I said... I'd never seen such large balls on a female cat. And they told me that it was just "large". Uh.... ok..... So I took her home and we named her Mango. I finally made it to the vet for "her" ckup and sure enough Mango is a he. So that is how we ended up with a male cat named Mango.... See - I'm right some of the time....

Almost Made Through 2007
So for those of you who know or actually read my "About Me" you know that I have been in the hospital ever year since 2003. So this year on New Years my New Year resolution for 2007 was to stay out of the hospital and I almost made it Damn It!!!! Until last week for those of you who have been wondering where the fuck I have been I was admitted into the hospital last Wednesday and just got out this past Monday for a root canal that became a deadly infection. And no im not full of shit. My face blew up to three times the size it was supposed to I had a double chin like a 600 pound fat man and after my surgery which was Saturday and now 5 days later my face is still a little swollen not as bad as it was and yes I have lost the second chin but I still have a suture in my mouth which is terribly uncomfortable. 56 Days
Fifty Six Days So I’m at the plasma center, donating as I usually do twice a week. It gives me gas a cigarette money. It’s my second donation of the week so this means $30 in my pocket when I’m done. Up walks the security guard, who also does other work there. Basically a good handy man on top of being security. I like him, he and I talk and joke, and are both Security Officers, prior military, and the like. We have a lot in common. They happen to have him cutting these straps off of the new covers on the beds. Joking he acts like he is reaching for the line. We both laugh and he cuts the first strap. I look back up at the movie and suddenly hear him say, “Oh shit I really did it.” I start chuckling and look over, and there is blood dripping from the scissors. Rather surprised I say. “Oh shit you really did it.” I then realize that blood is flowing out and grab the clamp on the hose and close it. Ropeing A Deer
I had this idea that I was going to rope a deer, put it in a stall, feed it up on corn for a couple of weeks, then kill it and eat it. The first step in this adventure was getting a deer. I figured that since they congregated at my cattle feeder and do not seem to have much fear of me when we are there, (a bold one will sometimes come right up and sniff at the bags of feed, while I am in the back of the truck not 4 feet away) that it should not be difficult to rope one, get up to it and toss a bag over its head (to calm it down) then hog tie it and transport it home. I filled the cattle feeder then hid down at the end with my rope. The cattle, which had seen the roping thing before, stayed well back. They were not having any of it. After about 20 minutes my deer showed up, 3 of them. I picked out a likely looking one, stepped out, from the end of the feeder, and threw my rope. The deer just stood there and stared at me. Working Out.
I started working out last week, got to the gym twice to actuly work out and the other time to just ride the bike and then shower before work. Pillows
Ok this is the first blog in my set of pet peevs blogs. This was inspired by my kids this morning lol. Pillows are designed for the part of your body located above your shoulders not the part located between your lower back and upper legs (butt for those who don't understand.) Ok this drives me crazy but here goes. I wake up this morning and the kids are sitting on the couch, normally ok but under theirs butts is all the pillows they can find. Think about this for a min. when you go to bed and lay your head on your pillow one of the first things you do is take a deep breath through your nose as to smell your pillow. Ok if your butt (or someone elses) has been on this pillow all day guess what your smelling, yup you got it Ass Crack. I bet that tickled your nose now didn't it. well, tomorrow is finally the day i get the keys to the new house! it took 6 wks to get here, but the wait is over!!! So, as you may expect i'm going to be pretty incognito for the most part over the next 2 weeks. Busy with painters, tile guys and various other construction bitches!! I'm Just Overwhelmed!
I just can't believe all of the love that I've been shown today. I never expected anything like it! I have made very special friends on here who have made their own special places in my heart and who I will never, ever forget. I Start On June 2nd
Well my job search is over for now. I have accepted a job with the Dept of Agriculture. Not sure where this is going to lead me but I am now employed again after being off work for close to 7 months. I have mixed emotions over it but at the very least I will have some income coming in. New challenges await. I will still get my Fu time in....hehehe!!!

Im please too announce 2 members of our family will be part of the leadership team with me. They will continue too post level ups and help handle any situations that arise. They are not doing anything new they have actually been this for awhile and so i asked them too help so that level ups still get done and I dont have too worry when im not on here. So would you please help me welcome Passionman71 & LilBamagirl too the leadership. We will also in the near future be adding team leaders to help keep track of birthdays, points and anything that may need taken care of. All members must fan, rate and add all levelers. Olympics First 5 Days
Probably not surprising to those who have grown to know me, I really love the Olympics. I think it's an incredibly wonderful event and I try to watch absolutely all that I can. I get soaked up in all the stories and and drama and I love sport. I hate that people politicize it but that's the crappy world we live in so I ignore it. Here are my thoughts on the first 5 days now that I've finally watched the end of the opening ceremonies. So, since I was playing soccer Friday night and then went to a friends house for some drinks I missed the opening ceremonies. Of course I tivo'd it, and I've been tivo'ing about 18 hours of coverage a day every day as well, but since I was out volunteering all weekend I had to watch the ceremonies in little hour bits. I finally finished it last night. If any of you have seen it, you know that it was one of the most incredible spectacles ever in the history of the Olympics. I think I'm finally realizing what has me so bothered about moving back to my home town. Since my marriage ended, I have been very careful about who I let around me. My standards of who I date, who I'm friends with, even who I know casually are very high. I always felt stifled and trapped around my parents.
