Won't Be On Ct Much Due To Blown Cable Modem
OK, I had to replace my cable modem at home and although that fixed the problem, Comcast will not let me through to the internet until they reset my account which will take up to 24 hours. This is the second modem I have gone through. Not sure what is killing them but this is getting to be a pain. Here is the bottom line though. I will not be able to be online much at home until this is fixed. CT just takes way too much bandwidth on dialup, LMAO. Chayotes Rellenos
Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients: 4 medium Chayotes 2 tbsp. CRISCO Oil 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 8 ounces ground pork or turkey 3 tsp. PLACE Place them cut side down in a microwave safe dish and add a half-inch of water. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high power for 8 minutes. Ok today started off like most. I get up feed my dogs, let them out, take shower. Go to work. When I get to work is were it all starts. Outside of the fact that I've been depressed of late, a little more than usual, having girl trouble, and whats going on at work just made my f**king day. I work in a plant that is union. I how ever work for an outside contractor, non-union. Ok here the drill. A few weeks ago this little prick who work in the union, comes in to our storeroom that we run and steals a $250 saw. He only make about 19.00 a hr. Well we thought that had all blown over until today. They call one of the booses up stair and chew his ass out over this again. We are now being held reposeable for the tools in here. So noone is allowed in here! We were told that if something else gets stolein who ever is on duty at the time will be fired!! They however will do nothing about the little prick who stole it in the first place. F**ked up aint it! So that is part of my bad day.

A quick and easy, skillet chicken dish--just saute the chicken and make a quick lemony pan sauce. I am writting this for 2 reasons the first of which is to thank my sweetheart who will be helping me out ober the next couple days while i am occupied offline (he knows who he is, thank you so much sweety, you mean the world to me) and 2ndly to let you all know that i will be offline for at least the next 2 days while my friends and i celebrate the life and morn the death of a very close friend who was found dead in his home a few days ago very unexpectedly....tomarrow we will be spending the day celebrating his life inprivate with his closest friends and family and tue. we will be morning his death as we lay him to rest. 6-20-2007
Today I have made a decision to go tomorrow and look for another job. It is going to be tough with working the job that I am now and going to school, but I really don't have a choice. I figured out my bills and my budget and I need to be making at a minimum $500 per week and I am not even close to that which has put me in a very bad situation with being late on house payments and other bills. So therefore a choice has to be made to work two jobs and also go to school. Blah...sometimes ya just hate life!!!

well my cousin is having surgery next week for them to go in and clean out her sinuses and lungs due to the cystic fibrosis. That is apparantly what is causing her to cough up large amounts of blood...She is finally in her own room so she is happy about that..You know how 17 yr olds are lol they want their own space.They are saying that she will be in at least 3 weeks..So for all of you praying please dont stop and thank you so much!

Barbecued Country Style Pork Ribs
BARBECUE SAUCE: 1/2 c. cooking oil 3/4 c. chopped onion 3/4 c. ketchup 3/4 c. water 1/3 c. lemon juice 3 tbsp. sugar 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. French's prepared mustard 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper Cook onion in oil until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. To All My Friends And Fans...the Time Has Come....
Friends and fans.The time has come again which happens every year for me to be away. I will be leaving tomorrow AM on a trip for our company conducting safety measures and getting a better understanding how to make our company strong. I will also be in Washington State helping out my brother who shattered his foot. I will be back in CT land sometime around the 22nd-23rd of July. I will surly miss all my CT friends Whom I have grown very close to. Whoa, today sucks alot it has been 1 full year since dad passed away. I still feel like shit all the time and I miss him everyday I know that it is suppose to get better with time. Teriyaki Lamb
7 to 8 lbs. leg of lamb, boned 6 to 8 cloves garlic Ginger 1 lg. bottle Kikkomann teriyaki marinade 2 c. cooking sherry Slice garlic and insert into slits on the bone side of lamb. Rub ginger liberally over boned side. Marinade of Kikkomann and sherry is poured over lamb and placed in a large plastic container. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Turn frequently. Grill on barbecue for 18 minutes per side.

1 (8 oz.) bottle red Russian dressing 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) broiler fryer, cut up 1 med. onion, sliced In 12 inch skillet over medium heat in 2 tablespoons hot Russian dressing, cook chicken and onion until chicken is lightly browned. An Explanation
Not even sure how to start talking about this... Most of you who know me pretty well know my Dad is my hero. I don't think there is a better person alive today. He has been there for me throughout my struggles with depression. He is my best friend, my strength, the one I can go to with anything. Without him, I would not have made it through the last couple years. Many of you know I lost my Mom to cancer many years ago. I don't talk about it much, but Dad is also a cancer survivor. This week he and my stepmom are taking a tripout to Washington. He may have retired, but he is still out helping to cover other ministers most weeks. He is helping 2 churches whose ministers are ill. Bring some sabor to the barbecue with this mojo-inspired marinade, perfect for meat, chicken, fish and even vegetables. ¡Buen provecho! Prep Time: 20 minutes Yield: 1 cup Ingredients: 2 limes, zested and juiced 1 orange, zested and juiced 6 garlic cloves, pressed 1 jalapeño, finely chopped 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped 1 tsp. kosher salt 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 1 tsp. oregano, crushed 1/2 cup olive oil Preparation: In small bowl, place zest and juice from fruit and set aside. In glass bowl, blend garlic, jalapeño, cilantro leaves, salt, pepper and oregano with back of fork. Over medium heat, heat olive oil until hot, but not smoking. Carefully pour oil over spice-and-herb paste and blend. Let cool 15 minutes, then add juices. To marinate: In glass dish or heavy zip-top plastic bag, let food marinate. Crispy Oven-baked Chicken
This same preparation technique can be used to make chicken nuggets for children. Just cut the chicken into bite-size pieces, and reduce the cooking time by about half. This Uruguayan stew, with tender chicken pieces and vegetables swimming in a heady wine sauce, is prepared in a single pot. It almost cooks itself! Ingredients: 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds skinless chicken (with bone), cut into pieces 1/2 cup water 1/2 to 1/3 cup thinly sliced carrot rounds 1 medium potato, cut into 1-inch cubes 1 small onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 bay leaves 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon flour 1/3 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms (optional) 1/4 cup dry or semidry white table wine Preparation: Heat the olive oil in a wide-bottom stockpot or Dutch oven. My New Story
This is the beginning of a story I am trying to write,,please comment and let me know what you think so far. "W,..where am I? W,..what is this place?" Starla wipes her eys, she has just awoke into her own personal hell. The surroundings are strangely familiar to her, yet something is distinctly different. A feeling of darkness and death clouds her mind as she tries to make sense of it all. "What is happening to me? Why can't I remember?" She stands slowly, looking around trying to grasp any spark of reality she can find. As she walks throught the house, Starla feels a presense, something eerie,,,,,,,something ,,,evil. Fear overcomes her, she begins to cry. Her pace quickens as she searches for a way out. Finally reaching the front door, Starla franticly tries to open it, fumbling with the knob, but something is blocking it, keeping her in. "Let me out!!!!!" she screams. "What do you want from me!!??" She falls to the floor, sobbing histerically, "please let me go

Cold Pasta And Chicken Salad Or Shrimp Salad
8 oz. vermicelli pasta noodles 1 c. French dressing 10 fresh sliced mushrooms 1 c. fresh broccoli florets, blanched 10 slices cherry tomatoes Ripe olives (sliced) 1 can sliced artichoke hearts 2 c. cooked cubed chicken (or boiled shrimp) 1/3 c. fresh basil (or 1 1/2 teaspoon dried) 1/3 c. toasted pine nuts, optional Cook pasta, transfer to mixing bowl. Add 1/3 of the dressing and toss well. Cool and chill 3 hours. In another bowl, mix mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes, olives, artichokes with remaining dressing. Chill. Add chicken, basil, nuts. Mix with pasta.

someone ran around flagging half my art as "NSFW" These are pictures i've had up for quite some time, and new work. It's artwork that i have posted via Myspace, Photobucket, Deviant Art and many other public websites. It's only here that the bored and pathetic have found away to censor what i do. Lemon Angel Dessert
1/3 c. cornstarch 1 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 3/4 c. sugar, dash of salt 1 slightly beaten egg 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 (11") loaf angel cake Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt; add water; cook until thick and clear. Add a little hot mixture to egg; stir into remaining hot mixture; cook 1 minute over low heat. Add butter. Add lemon juice and rind. Cool. Split angel cake into 3 layers; spread with filling. Cover loaf with Whipped Cream Frosting: Soften 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water; dissolve in 1/4 cup heavy cream (scalded); chill; whip. To 1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped, add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Fold in whipped mixture. Serves 12.

hey now its been a week or so and as most of you know ive been run through the ringer right nicely.. some one is trashing my yahoo, another is getting into my email and still another has been here on ct.. i dunno bout you folks but it gets really tieresome really quick .. oh why oh why cant it be back to where it was before when shit was all good and i never had to worry bout nothing. i dont ask for much in life but a decent chance would really make my fucking day.

Crab Cakes
1 lb. crab meat 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup Saltines, crushed 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1/2 teaspoon paprika or Old Bay seasoning cayenne pepper or Morton's Hot Salt onion powder for sprinkling butter or olive oil for frying Remove any shell from crab. In a medium bowl, toss together crushed Saltine cracker crumbs, egg, parsley and mayonnaise until moistened, but do not over mix. Add salt and pepper. Form into five or six cakes, 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. Place in refrigerator on cookie sheet for at least one hour so they will set up. Sprinkle lightly with cayenne or Morton's Hot Salt and onion powder. In a heavy skillet, fry crab cakes in butter (or olive oil), turning once until both sides are nicely browned (about 10 minutes).

Howdy Ya'll!
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing just wonderfuckle myself. Haven't posted anything about myself lately so I thought I would bore you with that now. Of course it's summer time and I am trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Our watermelons are coming in full blast now. That means that after this coming week I will be hopefully hauling them to the farmer's market to sell. Woot. Always some sexy men up on the market. LOL The week of the 4th, I'm going camping again. Grilled Pork Tenderloin With Orange Marmalade Glaze
The secret to grilling pork tenderloin, as I learned from my friend Vaughn, is to watch it carefully, with a meat thermometer in hand, because "once it goes, it goes quickly." A pork tenderloin is a long, narrow cut of meat which cooks very quickly, so that the difference between perfectly done and over-cooked is slim, time-wise. Have a meat thermometer ready, and start checking with increasing frequency as you approach the expected cooking time. 1/3 cup soy sauce (use wheat-free soy sauce for wheat-free version) 1/3 cup orange marmalade 1/3 cup honey 1 Tbsp plus 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes 1 lb pork tenderloin 2 scallions, thinly sliced (optional) 1 In a small saucepan, bring the soy sauce, marmalade, honey, rice wine vinegar, and red pepper flakes to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the flame and let cool to room temperature. Distribute the glaze evenly in 2 bowls. Marinate the tenderloin roast for a min of 1 hour in the glaze.

Chipotle Citrus Marinated Pork Tenderloin
2 pork tenderloins, about 1 pound each, halved crosswise 1 cup orange juice 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 6 cloves garlic, smashed 2 shallots, chopped 2 dried chipotle chilies, crushed into small pieces with your hands 1 tablespoon olive oil Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 3/4 cup chicken stock 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 1 Trim the tenderloins of any excess fat and silver skin. Set in a small nonreactive baking dish. 2 Combine the orange juice, lemon juice, garlic, shallots and chilies in a small bowl and stir well. Pour over the tenderloins and let sit for 20 minutes at room temperature. 3 Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 4 Heat the olive oil in a large, ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the tenderloins from the marinade, reserving the marinade. Wipe the tenderloins dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook, turning as needed, for 4 to 5 minutes, until evenly browned. Transfer to the oven

Bacon-wrapped Pork Roast
1 pork loin (1 1/2 pounds) Salt and pepper 1 Tbsp olive oil 2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh rosemary 1/4 lb bacon, thinly sliced 1 cup white wine1 Preheat oven to 375°F. Season pork wil salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Sear pork on all sides until browned, about 10 minutes total. Remove from heat. 2 Rub pork with chopped rosemary; wrap with bacon, overlapping strips slightly. Tie pork roast wih kitchen twine. Roast in oven, basting occasionally with cooking juices, until internal temperature is 145°F on a meat thermometer, 35 o 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Transfer pork to a serving dish. 3 Make pan sauce. Place the roasting skillet on the stove top over low heat. Add the wine and deglaze the pan, stirring with a wooden spoon to scrap up any browned bits from the pan bottom. Pour through a fine-mesh sieve into a small saucepan. Skim off the fat. Reheat to serving temperature if necessary.

So this was inspired by a friend’s blog and I didn’t want to leave a four page comment. I just don’t understand the drama on CT. Chicken A La King
Serve chicken a la king over hot cooked rice, toast, biscuits, or cooked pastry shells. INGREDIENTS: * 1/4 cup butter or margarine * 1/4 cup flour * 2 tablespoons chopped onion * 4 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms * 1 teaspoon salt * 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce * 2 cups milk * 2 cups diced cooked chicken * 1/4 cup chopped drained pimiento (2 ounce jar) PREPARATION: Melt butter or margarine in a medium saucepan. Cook onion and mushrooms over medium low heat until onion is tender. Add flour and salt, stirring until mixture is smooth. Gradually stir in milk and Worcestershire sauce.Continue cooking and stirring for about 3 minutes or until mixture is thick and begins to bubble; stir in chicken and drained chopped pimiento. Vacation
Wow, what a weekend. I stayed in a hotel that had a outdoor heated swimming pool, a hammock, a grill, a padio, and the room looked so much like a house. It was awesome. I took my girl up to ghostown. Even though it had been years since i had been there it was great. It was really a family orientated place. In my opinion, alot better than Carowinds where everything costs a arm and a leg. Fireworks
It is amazing how a simple thing can stir up so many memories and thoughts in a person. Tonight I went to the Seekonk Speedway to watch the 4th of July celebration they had. This included drag racing, circuit racing, demolition derby, and other types of vehicle racing. This was my first time going to an event like these, (on a side note I have gone to legal drag racing events but with family this is the first time with a bf.) So we watch the 2 hours of drag racing, a little red Corvette won. Then eventually came the Enduro races, where the idea was to be the first one across the line after 8 laps without crashing your car. Volleyball Tourneys
Summmer means beach and grass volleyball and that's pretty much what I have been doing. Today is beach at Baltimore's Inner Harbour, which is alot of fun to check out! A friend took some picture of Clint and I playing Saturday and Brenda and I playing on Sunday, which I plan to put on here as soon as I freaking level up. Clint and I came off our net as 1st seed, but couldnt make it through the playoffs. Our first tourney of the year was the same thing. Reflections
And it's winter before we know it.... REFLECTIONS You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. And yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all... And I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams... But, here it is..the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise... How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my babies go? And where did my youth go? I remember well... seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like... But, here it is...wife retired and she's really getting gray...she moves slower and I see an older woman now. She's in better shape

Whew That Took A Load Off, Lol
Wow, I just read my own blog, yeah me, lol. I have lost 18 pounds so far with just diet and exercise and im loving it. I can see my feet real good, and even for a pretty good endowed man i dont have a dickety doo anymore, ya know, where your belly hangs over more than your dickety do.Lmao...anyway, I am happy, my stomach is getting more flat and I am loving life. Transformers...more Than Meets The Eye
O M G!!! It was awesome and kick ass. There were quite a few funny parts and lines in the movie that I think even a non-fan would love. The action sequences were incredible. At first I was perturbed that they reversed Optimus' colors but it really worked. Definitely another must see if you haven't already and maybe even a repeat! *wink* Enjoy!!

Lasagna
3 ounces lasagna noodles dash of oregano 1 - 8 ounce can or 1 cup of spaghetti sauce with meat 1/2 cup cottage cheese 3 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese dash of salt dash of pepper Cook noodles according to package directions. Mix in small bowl, oregano, salt and pepper with spaghetti sauce. Alternate layers of noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese and sauce in small baking pan. Bake at 375* for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Ramen Salad
Dressing: 1 cup oil (canola is best) 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup white vinegar 2 packages beef ramen soup seasoning Salad: 1 lb. package cole salad mix 2 packages beef ramen noodles 1 cup salted sunflower seeds 1 cup slivered toasted slivered almonds 1/2 cup carrots (if not in the cole slaw mix) Prepare the dressing a day in advance by combining ingredients for dressing. Refrigerate overnight. Break up noodles, mix all dry ingredients together, pour dressing over dry ingredients; mix well and chill before serving.
