This month has been insane!! I've made 2 trips to IL this month. After the first, we decided to move back after living in Ohio almost 20 yrs. My daughter wants to be around her family (as do I) plus she wants the baby to grow up with family around, in a small town environment. Then my daughters' ex went psycho, he got physical with my daughter more than once and I THINK he got mad with the baby, there were no marks on her so I can't say for sure what happened, but babies don't cry tears like that unless they've been physically hurt - I only know that something did happen so we're leaving before he can take off with the baby or hurt my daughter or the baby again. We've also found out some other things about his "extra curricular activities" - I won't go into details until we go to court for the permanent protective order, but none of it is good and he will NOT expose my daughter or grandbaby to his bullshit. Baked Lemon Chicken
BAKED LEMON CHICKEN 1/4 c. melted butter Juice of 2 lemons 24 Melba toast rounds (crushed) 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. paprika 3 lbs. skinned chicken thighs Combine lemon juice and butter. In separate dish combine crumbs, onion powder and paprika. Dip chicken in butter mixture then in crumb mixture. Arrange chicken on rack in shallow baking pan. Top with remaining butter and crumbs. Cover loosely with foil. Bake at 400 degrees for about 40 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake about 20 minute or until chicken is well browned and tender.

I recently lost my husband of 22yrs to pancreatitis. He fought a 3 1/2 month long battle! I have been gone for over a month from fubar, not just to take some time for myself to get adjusted to the changes in my life but also due to my pc crashing. It touched my heart so that my eyes filled with tears. I keep seeing these ads on TV telling us how we should conserve more and use less of pretty much everything! It occurs to me though that if if we simply had fewer children, that would do more to help save the planet and make life better than all the conservation and energy-efficient vehicles and homes combined! Conserving is all nice and good, but how about promoting the idea of having fewer children as well? Smaller more tightly knit families where the parents can "invest" more time, attention and resources in their kids would do wonders for our population and the planet in general IMO. Think about it! Why is it so politically incorrect to promote having fewer children? I get sick at my stomach every time I hear of a new mother who had 4 or 5 babies at once, or families with 5 or 6 children or more! To me that's just wrong. Annie came to me in spirit that day and told me something had ruptured and she passed out, and she died. So I have been sad the last couple days and been crying off and on all day today. Well, it is after midnight so technically it was yesterday. I Have been having some issues lately..with pain. Alot to due with kidney crap.. Anyways. monday i had 2 hr spell of pain at work. I ended up leaving early to go get a cat scan done. Switching To Another Os?? Should You?
I thought I would post a little on here about switching operating systems. I am certain that the majority of folks on here run some version of Windows. I run XP,2k, 98 and even 95 on various machines. These are not primary machines though, for that I run a PowerMac G5 dual 2ghz PPC and as a secondary desktop I run a custom built Linux box. So the point of this post is to hopefully answer some ?'s about the different OS's. I am doing this because the impending release of Vista has my phone ringing off the hook. First, don't think that you must upgrade. I have family and clients still running win98 even though MS stopped supporting it. My father still has machines running Win 3.1 and even plain old DOS. So what should you do?? MS will tell you and try to persuade you into upgrading to Vista. I tried Vista and my test of the beta version was running on a 2.6ghz processor w/ 512mb of RAM and a decent graphics card. I had issues getting the most out of the system and it hogged more

I Think It's Time..
I think it's time I take a break from Cherry Tap. At this point I can't say if it'll be a couple days, a week or longer. I can say I am not completely leaving Cherry Tap just taking a very much needed step back and a break. My reasons for this are very simple.. I joined CT to meet and interact with other "adults". To get away from the everyday stress and BS of life, CT was that for me until lately. When I am here and more stressed because all I see is nothing but drama everywhere.. "Friends" stabbing "friends" in the back, people leaving lounges or just leaving CT to escape people harassing them, people being threatened, stalked.. ect.. And we all know the list could go on and on. It's time to take a break. If I wanted stress and BS I can turn off my computer and just deal with everyday life. While I believe that you can meet great people on the internet, make good friends and even can meet even that someone special and take your friendships or other into your real life

Friday afternoon. Went to classes til noon. Called about my glasses. Nope. No dice. Got my shit together. And left for Phoenix around 1330. Pulled in to Phoenix around 2100. (Topped my car out at 100mph a couple times! w00t!) Samantha and I went to dinner. And for their "Famous salsa" it sure was crap! Lmao. Guitar Hero 2 on Co-op for a bit, then we watched The Wall and went to bed. =P. Saturday. We decided to go out again. We went and saw the Bodyworks exhibit! W00000t! Have you ever questioned your mortality? Or made you question your own empathy? THis exhibit. Just. Wow. From there, some KFC, a show on Rameses II, and then to Roberts to chill and play Apples to Apples and eat Lasagne with Good beer. =D! From there, we went to a Coffee/Hookah place and relaxed for a while. Went back home. Watched Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels. Passed out. Sunday. Woke up. Went to Kyoto Bowl. Got some good food. And then I drove home. =/. Whew. Good weekend. =D! zOMG!!!
