Kids
Tonight is gonig to be the first night that I will not be able to say goodnight to my kids. To hold them tight and kiss them. In the morning I will wake up alone. I will come home for work and I wont be recieved with the sounds of my kids running arms open screaming daddy daddy. I dont know how people do it. How do you get by without the joy of life. Please if you have insight help me. My entire life I have waited for the opportunity to be a loving father and husband. I had it, now I fear it is gone. This is not me I am not this weak, Why now am I being a fool. I will miss it all, good and bad. I missed out on enough already. I'm sorry kids for failing you. I hope and pray that your mom will return and we can return to being the happy loving family I know we are. Your the best and I will miss you every day your gone. Alex,my Oldest
With out a doubt this is my oldest child the child of my soul.He is senstive,sweet,kind and boyishly charming.Tonight he wanted to talk to me about what to do about girls,dang,is it what it's really like to be 13 again.I dk,it's be 16 almost 17 years since I've been there.lol I can only hope that I told my SMART son what to do.All of my kids have brains which I am very proud to say that they use. My Father.
OK, I wanted to give more of a background on my father from my last entry. More or less, my father was abusive to my mother, myself, and my sister when we were little. He would lock us in our rooms while he went to the race tracks, or while he was just in the living room wathcing TV so he didn't have to put up with us. My parents divorced when I was around 2, my father has never really been there at all for me or my sister. Financially he was, $200 a month until my sister turned 18 then $100 a month until I turned 18. Other than maybe a few visits a year, here and there and depending on the year and where we were living that was it. I have always had a problem with him, I dont understand why he can't just be there for us. I dont understand why he doesnt care to know what is going on with us, or worry about us. I dont care if he is busy working, or doing whatever with his new family we are his children and he is suppose to be there for us. That is his responsibilty, he is our FATHER,

Am I A Fireman Yet

Well I guess I just needed to vent. So he it goes. I really don't understand what men want. I was with a man for 6 yrs and thought it was going well. He was my best friend. We were friends for a long time before we got together. I did everything for him. I cooked and cleaned and never denied him anything. My whole life revolved around him. He cheated on me 3 times in the 6 yrs. (3 times that i know of). the last time was with his ex g/f. and was numerous times. Found out he would be on the phone with me while she was right there waiting for him to get off the phone with me while I was at work. He would tell me he loved me and then go sleep with her. Well long story short we talked it out and i forgave him (like an idiot) and we tried to move past it. That didn't work. Just when I started to trust him again he said he dosen't want to be with me and he dosest love me. That was almost a yr ago now. So I dusted myself off and tried to start again. Being Alone.
Why is that some times it gets to me that I am alone and that I do not have that special someone in my life? Most of the time it does not bother me that I am alone. Lately though it has bothered me more and more. I am not looking for perfection. Though I do want to have someone that is there for when I want to just cuddle or hold hands. To know that someone would be looking forward to me coming home. To be able to go for a walk, or just sit next to each other while watching the sun set. Maybe I am asking for and expecting to much. Dont Undrstand
I go out of my way to let the people I care about, and the friends I have here know they are important to me. This isnt always returned, which is fine. We all get busy, or fall behind. Ok, so earlier I was here talking to some people when my phone rang. It was a good friend of mine who runs a local coffee shop that does poetry slams on saturdays. So anyways today was the "erotica" slam, and the person that she had lined up to read backed out on her saying that they had "found god". And she wanted to know if I could drop everything and come and perform. Now because of someone on here who encouraged me to start writing again, and share them. I told her yep be right there. So i made arrangements for my son to see his grandmother and blasted out to the shop. I am a frequent guest at the Hampton Inn Hotel Chain. One of the reasons I enjoy staying at the Hamptons, is becuase of the Cookies. For thoses of you who do not know, every night between 6pm and 9pm they put fresh baked cookies out for the guests. Usually an assortment of choclate chip, peanut butter and macadamia nut. Tonight, I went to the lobby at 5:55, because I like to be there when they come out of the oven. The good news was that the staff was efficient as always and had the cookies out before 6pm. The one downside to my trip was how short it was. Australia is a big country and the Great Barrier reef is the largest living organism on the planet. Two weeks just can't do either justice. What I did would have been the equivilent of coming to the US, spending two days in NYC, go to a broadway show, then fly to Vegas. Spend a week backpacking the Grand Canyon, going back to Vegas for a night and then fly home and say you have seen the USA. I'd recommend Australia to anyone who can afford it. Yeah, the flight sucks. And the 40 hour day on the way back with 30 in transit is pretty bizarre. Thank god for Ambien. But given a chance to go back I will. THere is too much else to explore and see both diving and on land not to.

well here i sit on a warm monday evening longing for my Master. i long for the days of old when i could be with Him oh so much more. i feel that i have lost Him even just a bit because of the fact i am not online as much as i used to be, but i don't know what to do about it. i only have privacy when my cousin is at work because when he is home, there are things we need to do around the house, errads to run, and he is usually in my room because we are talking or watching tv together. April 28th Happy Hour Contest
Well I have three contest pics so far. New Bike So Far
Well getting used to a v4, when i have been riding a straight 4 is a little wierd because the power bands are different. I am still getting used to the low down torque from the engine but just love the sound. The suspension feels a bit on the soft side but as its a sports tourer then this is understandable. Certainly doesn't feel like it wants to dive seriously when i pull on the anchors. One thing I have noticed is that it needs a little more effort to get it to lean but once it does it feels well balanced. I think this is partly to do with the tyres as the tyres on the CBR had a sharper profile compared to the ones on the VFR. One thing i was worried about was when in the rain and this week I was able to test it LOL. Just felt stable and good. As I have next weekend off, well unless someone decides to book holiday, then its time for a longer trip out.

well we had another night of racing come and go and i cant complain to much. car handled better than it had in a while, but was still a middle of the pack car. not sure how far off on speed we were but the handling problems that have given us trouble were gone for a night. the heat race was something to forget. on the start i got clipped and had to slow as to not wreck which put me in the rear and trying to catch up, but the feature was antoher story. i started from the back (like always) of a 21 car field and held the back of the pack most of the race with enough speed to keep up but never quite enough to make any clean passes and through attrition i ended up with a 10th place finish. my best so far in a full field

Prep Time:15 min Start to Finish:55 min Makes:8 servings 1 pound lean ground beef 1 jar (14.5 ounces) sloppy joe sauce 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix 2/3 cup milk 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened 2 eggs 1. Update On My Father
First off, thank you again for all of the outpouring of support and genuine concern for my father! First it was my son, who is improving each day, and now this. He is a "cantankerous" 80 year old. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning with a temperture of 105, couldn't stand because of cellulites in the leg in which he had a knee replacement 4 years ago and would NOT allow the ambulance to be called. So, my two younger brothers got him there. To make a long story short, he also had elevated BP, sugar levels and they found blood poisoning, among a few other things. So, today, they will remove the artificial knee, clean out the joint and replace it with a temporary joint. The utmost concern are the infections he has and to try to remedy those. This will be quite a drawn out affair, but at least he is in very capable hands. Thank you again for all the love and concern you have shown!

I went to see it last night. It features Will Smith playing a disguntled superhero. He isn't thought well of, but he saves a PR guy who hatches a plan to solve his reputation problems. Without giving much more of the plot away, I enjoyed the movie. Not a great story, but it was fun, especially I thought at the beginning during his misadventures, many of which were in the trailers prior to the release. My favorite being the one where he saves the whale by throwing it back into the ocean, but takes out a sailboat in the process. In many ways, his misadventures reminded me of Bruce Almighty. The ending is cute enough. I wouldn't recommend a sequel, but it is definitely worth a rental if you skip it in the theater.

Computer Problems
not sure whats really been going on been having problems with my computers..so have not been on here much last few days. Plus fact , I been working alot of hours at work for bonus. I finally managed to get on ut still have some problems. My desk top.. I can get onto yahoo for a second..then flips over to a white screen saying .. done. It will not let me stay on fubar page. Thats mainly the problem with that computer..plus my screen saver isn't working. As for my laptop. The wireless part is not working..but when hook the cable from the router to it.. I can get on. Beef And Spinach Pinwheels
Beef and Spinach Pinwheels 8 slices bacon 1 1-1 1/2 pound beef flank steak or beef top round steak 1 10-oz package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese In a large skillet cook bacon till just done but not crisp. Drain on paper towels. Score steak by making shallow cuts at 1- inch intervals diagonally across steak in a diamond pattern. Repeat on the second side. With meat mallet, pound steak into 12 x 8 inch rectangle, working from center to edges. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange bacon lengthwise on the steak. Spread spinach over bacon. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Roll up from the short side. Secure with wooden picks at 1 inch intervals, starting 1/2 inch from one end. Cut between picks into 8 1- inch thick slices. Place, cut side down, on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3 inches from the heat for 6 to 8 minutes more for medium doneness. Remove picks. If desired serve with hollandaise sauce. Serves 4

Today I got hit hard by a dose of reality - the meaning of "One Day". Helping out a friend with her husband spending time with their son made me realize that time is our friend, yet also our foe. I understand we all have goals and dreams of plans for the future however, today is a gift and something you can never get back. If it is time wasted alone or being selfish, what use is it? Tomorrow will come, but will we be there to enjoy it and have our plans come to fruition? Something to reflect upon as I leave that to be pondered while I tend to the present and wish forgiveness for my absence and limited time here to all those I care about but hope understand just how valuable time truly is...

I feel like blogging today So I am going to tell all of you about a friend of mine named Dave Hartley. I have known good ol Dave for 14 years now. One of the most annoying features about Dave other then his incredible luck is the fact that he just refuses to die. I mean with the risks he takes he should have been dead a long, long time ago. So of course I felt pretty safe betting that he would be dead in the next 5 years. Well I was wrong and now Dave has been costing me $20 a year since 1995. Oh well. So anyway years ago Dave used to make it a habit to pass out at my house on pretty regular bases. Banana Pudding
INGREDIENTS * 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese * 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk * 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix * 3 cups cold milk * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed * 4 bananas, sliced * 1/2 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers DIRECTIONS 1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping. 2. Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with vanilla wafers. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over wafers. Spread with pudding mixture. Top with remaining whipped topping. Chill

Life As I Know It
Well i finished my first week at my new job..love its so far..like the people..the work..not really loving the commute but it works. In all of this i have really been learning alot about myself. Which of course is never a bad thing.. I have learned i am alot smarter then i thought i was (that is with numbers) i have never been an english major lol My old job didnt pay me for the last week i worked and none of my vacation time so i went to the union...guess its a fight between them now..problem is im going on vacation next week..have no bills paid and no money..but oh well i will spend alot of time at the beach lol.. im very nervous about leaving the kids for a week..granted they are 17 and 15 but i have never been on vacation without them. Really i have never been away from them at all since they were born and the 3 of us have been nowhere since the seperation and divorce..thats been about 4 yrs..oh well i need to let go alittle i guess. oh another front i also have been learning abo

some of you look at a guy or girl with a uniform on and say, oh i support our men and women of the armed service. many folks forget to think of all the fallen service men n women not just for today but yesterday. I truely dont see how any one can forget the ones in the past that fought for our freedom. we have places for vetrans being closed and moved further away from the ones who need the care of that service thats rightfully given to them. i recently had a close friend call me and told me that one of our friends that served in the armed service pasted away. it hurt like losing a family member. i look in the world today and i notice alot of people want to place blame on events that has happens even right down to the tragic even of 9/11. i want to say this if oyu cant support our troops and the man who sends them to protect our freedoms we do have. then i say this for every one of you out there. we send you over there with a gun and ship 5 of our men or women home and let you fight

I didn't think a mum was appropriate for this so I put my thoughts here. It has been thirteen years since I had open heart surgery. The surgery took place on the day before thanksgiving (today) and on Thanksgiving day I was still on a vetalator waking up. I have to give thanks to the doctors, nurses and all the people that took care of me while I was in the hospital back then and for all thoes who have helped my since that day with the six strokes,two heart attacks and the brain surgery I had in July. It has been a long road traveled and don't expect to end my journey for a long time to come. I hope you all have a Very Happy Thanksgiving. John

Interesting Week To Say The Least!
So as most of you know i left my old job and started a new one on Nov 3rd.. love it best move i ever made. but of course my luck is the big black cloud follows me around so there had to be something that happened lol. when i left ewing they didnt pay me for the last week i worked something about the way the pay and when it all was figured out they owed me 2 days pay and i had 6 days vacation i didnt use and they refused to pay me the accrued time. well the union got involved and according to the NJAC u must be paid for your accured time. also they owed me 12 hours in overtime that they didnt paid me for also. totaling close to about 1200 dollars that is due to me. well today the cut me a check for 114 dollars and im clueless how they came up with the figure but that isnt the best part of this as of oct 31 i was no longer and employee and they cancelled my health insurance on Oct 1st and all the bill from Oct are coming back rejected and that i owe them..hello i was still an employee

Well here we are following instructions and at least I have not ended up bugged. I am surprised to be the Empress though because I always thought of myself as a moon person. Mug Cake
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE 4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) A small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world ? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Today a rude comment was made to me at work. I was talking about one of my pets and a coworker said to me "How can you call yourself an animal lover when you plan to try and go kill some soon?" If I hadn't been so shocked by their ignorance, I probably would have been hurt. I AM an animal lover and although it may seem as an oxymoron to some, it makes perfect sense to me. So, I felt as though I would put some of MY thoughts and feelings down about this topic and see what others think. First and foremost, allow me to reiterate that I am indeed an animal lover. My entire life, I have had one pet or another - from cats and dogs to tree frogs and snakes. I've had birds and ferrets, gerbils and turtles. Hello all. I have not been on much..due to fact of getting a new member in my family. His name is Bruno..hes a great dane. Hes only 5 weeks old..so he needs alot of attn. Especially at night time it seems. He still crys alot..and I am hoping he eventually gets use to his crate at night..so I do not have to hear it. Its been 8 yrs since I had to do the motherly thing. LOL. Anyways..that is why I have not been on much. That and baseball/work. I got new pics of him in my folder. Luckily hes been doin real well at training. Lipstick In School
According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back. Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. Lose 10 Pounds In One Month
My friends and family thought I was smoking crack when I told them I was going to try and lose 10 pounds in one month. I went from a healthy 5'9 165 in September of last year to tipping 190 in November of this year. I said on my birthday enough was enough. December I was down to 178, and today I weighed myself and I'm down to 173 :-D. I figure my ideal range would be about 155-165, so I'll keep at it. After the month of hell my loss slowed down because I allowed myself to start eating fried foods every now and then, candy, beer, etc. I'm still losing it though, so I guess it IS ok in moderation :). It's been a harrowing life, and a particularly harrowing week.Introducing: Inspector Noodles One of my two adopted pugs; He just turned 6 years old. Last week he had trouble peeing. He was eating and drinking normally, but for whatever reason he just couldn’t go. At night it was a little hard to tell if he went or not because of rain or dew on the grass, but the following day (Wednesday) he was noticeably bloated. That night we took him to the emergency room at the animal hospital nearby. They couldn’t do all the tests they wanted to do because you need to pay out of pocket for these things, and I only had so much. My whole family is living paycheck to paycheck and with a close member of the family suffering with a life threatening illness over the past year, we are very financially strapped.
