Why spend money helping 3rd world countries with their problems when we still the same problems here on our own soil? Hunger? Homelessness? I believe we should help our own citizens here before we go out meddling in the affairs of others. Update About My Son!!!!please Read
I want to thank all who have offered a kidney to my son..I have tryed to get all information out to all that ask but is very hard to keep up so if I missed you I am sorry...I am posting the information to the transplant unit here so please if you wish to donate use it as I need to be with my son...They will be better at answering all questions you may have as this is a first time for me also. Never dreamed when I had my children something may go wrong but it did and now all I can do is try my best to find my son a kidney...My son seen his doctor today and she is having him admitted back to the hospital tomorrow and then transfered to UCSF..Am not sure and wont know until tomorrow but I was told she is thinking about going ahead and having the doctors to start dialisis...He needs to have it started 1 month pryer to transplant...God bless all of youi that have tryed and to all of you that will find it in your heart to try and give my son the gift of life... So today is my Nina's funeral service, it's not a good day, but I we will be driving to Redlands to pay our respects. She was a wonderful women. My Mom tells me that when She was 20yrs and pregnant, Her and my dad came to the US. My Nina was the first and only friend She had here. She always looked out for my Mom. Snowing In The South
I was in North Carolina last weekend, it actually snowed there Saturday night. Man, if you ever want to see an entire area panic, show some southerners a few snowflakes. Two days of warnings like a hurricane, salting the roads a day early, people being warned to stock up and milk and bread, announcing cancellations before the first flake falls. It barely starts snowing and on TV they’re showing a long list of churches cancelling services the next morning. Working with inmates can be hard on you. A lot of the inmates can't read or write. Most of the inmates will try to con you, so you have to be on your toes all of the time. This doesn't mean you have to be distant and not talk to them. Recently I had the third ex-inmate come up to me and thank me for listening and talking to them. They said they never want to go back to jail. They said it is rough working but better then being on the inside. I guess I do preach to them on the inside. I try to reach down into them and pull that part of them that is righteous out. I do listen to their personal problems and try to help. The day before yesterday, it was the inmate that said he would soon be getting out. His girlfriend is leaving him for her ex-friend. The inmate wanted something to tell her to make her stay with him. To All My Friends.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the get well cards, soup, and prayers. Wanted everyone to know Ihavent forgotten everyone. Was in the hospital for a week. Was running a high fever and stomach and headache. They found that where they had taken the artery or vein for the by pass I had in my leg back in March was getting red and swelling and said I had some type of infection in my leg. They put put me in surgery to take it out ane ended up leaving a big chunk out of my leg. I'm home bound with a wound vac attached to my leg that is suppose to heal it alot sooner. I didnt have any time left from work since I used it all for the total knee replacements back in March. So pray I can return to work soon. I have no money coming in at this time. Although my eyelids are closed, I can tell the sun is already blazing through the window showing signs of a bright, wonderful day. I can feel the weight of my cat lying between my legs and keeping me from closing them so that I can stretch and invigorate the muscles of my legs and back. I roll over a little and move my left leg. The move unsettles the cat and she stands up stiffly and shakes her head, obviously miffed that I woke her up. Then she bounds off the bed to do whatever cats do in the morning. General Information
I get a lot of questions regarding the illnesses that now prevent me from working and being as active as I once was. In addition, the combination of these illnesses have made it unable for me to work...and I explain them--I have no problems discussing them, answering questions...but thought it might be useful to put something more specific in writing than my interpretation...and then I can direct people here for specific information, etc...so hope this helps. My Return!
Ok, so I'm now finally home from half a year of computer training. I'm an officially licensed and certified geek now. The ceremony where they give you taped up glasses and a pocket protector however had to go on without me however, as getting back was all I was concerned about. Why is it when I think everything is starting to work out for me that something has to come along and complicate shit? Life And Love
Life isn't always as simple as it supposed to be...but the things that break us also shape us and make us who we are. Love is that way too. I believe in love, even true love. Angel Biscuits
ANGEL BISCUITS 5 cups flour 1/4 cup sugar 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup shortening 1 1/2 packages dry yeast 4 tablespoons warm water 2 cups buttermilk Stir dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until it looks like coarse meal. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to dry ingredients and shortening. Gradually pour in buttermilk and work into a nice dough. Roll out on floured board to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter and sip in melted butter. Stack in 2's or fold in half. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes (or until golden brown). Unbaked biscuits keep well in the refrigerator or may be frozen.

Crescent Honey Sticky Buns
CRESCENT HONEY STICKY BUNS 5 tablespoons butter 2/3 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup chopped nuts 3 tablespoons honey 1-2 teaspoons vanilla 2 (8 oz) can crescent rolls Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter, remove from heat, stir in sugar, nuts, honey and vanilla. Spoon scant tablespoon in each of 16 deep muffin cups. Do not unroll crescents. Cut each roll into 4 oarts lengthwise, then crosswise. Place cut side down over over mixture. Bake 15 to 29 minutes. Turn on cooling rack immediately.

I've thought about writing this blog for a long time now. About a month ago or so I wrote a blog that I regret writing. I wrote it when I was hurt and pissed off. New On Hubbie
Yesterday(Monday) when I was pulling into town to get to our drive way off the highway, Hrothgar (my hubbie) was comen outside the front door, at first I thought he was going for the mail box but instead he was heading towards the car, clasping his chest, So me call 911 told them i was on my way to the hospital with him and what was going on with him, Passed 2 cops doing 80mph, ya i figure i would get a ticket but it would be worth it, got him to the hospital they got him stable and life flight him back to the Nebraska Heart hospital, by the time I got there they already checked the stint he just got 10 days ago and saw that it and another artery was completely blocked agian.... thanks to fucken VA refussing to fill his medications that he was to be on. Concern
I went to the doctor this past Thursday, and I was diagnosed with a hernia,just what I do not need. But I am now wiating on the sugeon to get with me to determine if I am going to have top have surgery or not . I look at it if I need it I am going to just go in and handle it like I handle everything else , just another obstacle to overcome , and just move on . At least that is mild compared to what my blood pressure was this past Monday, it was higher than I wanted it . My blood pressure for the people who really wants to know was this past Monday was 205/130. But this past Tursday,it had lowered to 140/80, which was a little better. It's not where I want it but it will get there. I know I need to remove a lot of stress from life , but it is easier said than done on certain aspects . I have my own ways to relieve it all I need is a little peacer and quiet .

Admiring The Moment
Sadly, I had to spend Christmas and the New Years alone. As a result I've been trollin' Fubar and trying to find a lounge that I fit in with. Having a hard time with it as my humor is 10% stupid, 10% corny, 20% funny, and 60% adult. Language is free, but few lounges has made me feel welcome. When I was 19, I submitted an application and applied for a scholarship to live in Morocco and study Arabic. I hand-printed the application in Arabic script, sent it off, and then wondered, "Where exactly IS Morocco?" I had some general notion that Morocco was in Africa, but I wasn't clear on the specifics. Good Trip
Well I am back in Raleigh after being gone for a week. Was not sure I would make it, as my co-pilot was the driver from hell, my little big sister Tammy. She's very proud of the fact that she's "wrecked every car she ever owned". She had me over the white line on my side everytime she drove, I got some real up close looks at other drivers. The Last Time

Is It Really True?
I need a males perspective on this. Last night I couldn't get to sleep and I decided to watch a movie. I ended up watching "He's just not that into you". It was an alright movie, but the ending was somewhat predictable, just like any other 'chick flick'. I figured the movie would just bore me enough that I'd fall asleep within the first 15 minutes of it..but nope. I watched the whole thing. Anyway, in the movie there's one girl that is so desperate to have a guy want to be with her. She's the type of girl that, when a guy says he'll call her, she walks around with her cell just waiting and then she panics when they don't..always thinking of some off the wall reason as to why they didn't call. At some point in the movie she meets up with this one guy that basically tells her how she will know when a guy is into her and when he's not. Lounge Behavior
Why is it that 99.5% of all lounges here on fubar play nothing but shitty music? It seems that no one, and I mean NO ONE that runs a lounge is willing to have a talk show, no matter what the content or entertainment value, is immediately shunned at the very inference of it playing in THEIR lounge? In my search of something besides music in these lounges, I have found 3 such shows that might be similar to a talk show that I can find. Well he finally got a hold of me today. He was in the hospital for a week. Poor thing. I'm so glad he's ok. But when it comes to him I can be so selfish. All I worry about is that I can talk to him. Originally I planned for some big long winded elaborate blog for the holiday. Due to time constraints in real life, I won't be doing that this year. Update On Me.....
HELLO EVERYONE WHO READS THIS... I just wanted to update everything that has gone on since I was on here last, It has been a long time. I had computer troubles, I had to get a new laptop then I had to send it in to be fixed, ironic isin't it? lol I also was homeless during the summer until my ex husbands cousin took me and my family in, but we live on a fixed income and they abused our kindness. By that I mean we offered to help pay a portion of their bills while we stayed there, and we enede up giving them all of our money, and not being able to have our money for our own expenses. Once we finally found a place to live, they decided they would keep my livingroom furniture which came to over $3000.00 worth and they sold it, WITHOUT my permission. They were only supposed to hold on to my livingroom furniture for me until I could pick it up from their home. Just once I would like people to understand me sometimes. All these allegations towards me are wrong. I want out of this area, and had planned on moving closer to friends. Dumb Bitch!
So, tonight this dumb bitch bombed my "Default" folder.....which contains 13 pics. I have, like most people do, a clearly marked bomb folder with over 250 pics in it. Now, I neither knew nor cared that she was bombing, and as such I DID NOT ask her to bomb any of my folders. When she did, I sent her a half-thanks, and told her I was sorry she had wasted her time by bombing 13 pics on my Auto-11s when she could have had the full 250. Basically, she gave up over 20000 points, and got less than 1500 by being lazy and not paying attention and bombing a tiny folder. Then she suggests it's because I didn't PAY her! You should all know that I NEVER pay anyone to bomb me, and I NEVER require anyone to pay ME if they want to be bombed. Shown below is our brief exchange. I blocked her after that, and the conversation ended.

I Feel So Sorry For My Cat :(
Little snowball poor girl, she has fleas and ear mites. I feel so bad for her with all the scratching and such so I looked up a few things........first hartz and I know they've been in trouble recently so I looked up the active ingrediants. Nothing that would cause harm to every single cat they have to be HIGHLY sensative and we know snowies not. The ear mites is another thing we got to get rid of and know exactly what to use MINERAL OIL lol. Mineral oil sufficates and kills the ear mites so we're good there. All this is gonna cost around 23 bucks that's not bad at all :) But to manage the fleas right now we gave her a regular bath with a tiny amount of dish soap. Not adverse reactions, no dry skin good but never again will I use regular soap. It's the least we could do until tomorrow.
