I feel I should give a little background info, because I'm not sure if this is some people's first read of my blogs. So here it is: My Mom has been in and out of the hospital since December 23. We were told many different things, but now we know the main reason that she is acting the way she is. About a week ago we found out she has a 4 pound tumor above her kidney on her adrenal gland. The doctors say that that will cause confusion and depression. For a few months she's slowly been getting worse. Tonight topped it all. I h ave my kids tonight, like I do every Thursday night. She was fine all day. However when it was time for them to go to bed she starts yelling and screaming. They can NOT sleep like that. New Family Addition
I have grand-puppies! My neighbors German Shepard (we have joint custody of the dog) had puppies! Get this-eleven (11) of them! 7 girls and 4 boys! I ended up with joint custody when Sissy (the female dog) went into 'heat' and we bred her with my German Shepard. It seems she likes it at my house more than at her own, so she is normally found here constatnly. Either way, about 1.30 pm I got another holiday surprise. Finally! A Raise...
You know, I'd really like a raise but... I'm a temp, so little chance of that happening until if/when they hire me. Well guys I found out yesterday I am going to have to go under the knife!!! My breast Cancer has returned!!! This time is worse than last..but I am trying to stay hopeful of the outcome!!! I'm not really sure what the problem is lately. In the past couple of days not only have I not been feeling the greatest but I've also been feeling pretty damned depressed. I've fallen into a situation that appears to be out of my control for the moment and I'm completely dependent on other people for now. It sucks. I haven't had to do that for awhile now really. So Ive been thinking alot today about people. Those people who no matter if youve known for brief moments of your life or those who have been with you for year, just end up disapointing you. Fighting Weight Loss(say What?)
CRAP CRAP CRAP...I just stepped on the scales and I'm hovering between 95 and 100 lbs. Hello everybody, People are wondering where I live to have the animals I do in the yard, so let me explain. I live in a rural community north of Tampa, Fl. I have lived here since 1965 and yes I’m old and yes I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. Up until a few years ago there were large pastures, wooded areas and lakes all around my home. I grew up fishing, hunting and exploring this land and getting to know Mother Nature. That has changed thanks to people who have no respect for her or her wonders. They have come in and devastated the land to build houses and communities. In doing this they are forcing the native wild life to find a new place to live. I have 3 acres of my own with lots on either side of me that are 5 or 6 acres each. The properties have woods on them and no houses other than mine. I put food out in the back of my land and have a camera that is motion sensitive so I get really good pictures of what's out there. The government and people in general have no respe

ok so i stayed up all night again and this time not bc of stress. I thought everything i have been through since the start of this year, all the good and the bad. I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. I get the kids off to school and then I head over to her house to cook n clean and do whatever she needs done. Well yesterday My mom went with me we got to grams about 8;30 am I unlocked the door n went in as i walked in I saw my grandma on the den floor in pools of blood. Ironically, this is probably going to be the first Thanksgiving I am going to enjoy since I have been back from Iraq. I have so much pain in my heart, tears roll down my eyes like rain, waiting for my true loves touch by giving each other a new start with companionship. I start a new day without forgetting to pray asking God to send true love my way and not a man who just wants to play. Sometimes at night in my mind, I have this fearful sight, I wake up with a moan of having a dream of dying alone. There's got to be somewhere true love for me but I feel at times I'm invisible and he can't find me. Here I am, can't you see the love within me that needs to be set free? Ever Feel Like A Total Jerk?
Last Sunday my wifes mother came down from Oshkosh for my grandsons baptism. On her way home she was killed in an accident not far from home, to say my family was devastated would be an understatement. Well The logistics of grief were taken care of. hotel rooms booked, family rounded up, funeral prepared. Then after arriving I got sick and ended up spending the day of the funeral in the hotel room while my family went to the funeral. My wife understands but I still feel like a jerk. The Er Today
First off, thank you to all of the love shown to me either in the shoutbox (I'm sure I missed some of them) and by way of messages. My son has been having some pain in his lower back for the past 5 days or so. It got to the point where he couldn't bend down to touch his toes (he'll be 14 in July 4). So, I took him to the ER and he was diagnosed with a sacral strain...nothing neurological or very serious, but the pain is real. So, he has to take advil and do specific stretching exercises for the next 5 days and if it doesn't improve, go to the family Dr. for a re-evalutaion. As many of you know, he is an avid baseball player and in sports terms he is "day to day". So again, thank you so much for the genuine concern shown by so many of you.

Compared to LostCherry when I started, the site really was "f**ked up beyond all recognition"! Don’t you find it amusing how we tend to fall in love with those who are the absolute worst for us to fall for? We fall for those that we can’t have no matter how much we desire and long for them; we torture ourselves with the obsession much more than they ever could with their own words. We tend to get ourselves involved in less than ideal situations despite the fact that we know realistically that we never should. We get our hearts broken and our tongues tied of our own doing, the one we fall for does not make us fall for them . . . We do that on our own. Now, it is true that the ones we fall for may manipulate us in some way shape or form in order to make the attraction greater or to speed up the process but in the end that decision to love or care is laid at our feet and not theirs. It appalls me how little morals are regarded these days. Part of me wants to scream (no, not because I still love him because I don't) the other part wants to laugh. He has a little girl over here that will never know her father because he doesn't want to accept her. He was to foolish and immature to give a damn. It takes a big man to step up and take care of his responsibilities; I guess he is finally growing up.

it seems to me i have hit a fork in the road of my so called life i live. i have found myself looking in the mirror and wondering what is wrong with me? i seem to lean more towards the bad boys who have a sweet heart side. but in the end i get burned or fall hard for something i feel is there or could be there, but 2 hard for them to fathem being happy. So now i sit here and ponder what i should do , stop trying to make someone else see what others dont in them selves. or just worry about me. Bad boys arent always what they seem. so i think im done with trying to find my bad boi. it never seems to work~

Time To One's Self
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings I work from 3pm to 10:30pm(closing). Saturday is usually 11am to closing, Sundays is 8am to closing...14.5 hours! During the school week I watch grand daughter from 8 am to 2pm. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, I also watch grand son along with his sister when he gets out of school til 10:30-10:45. Son helps on out on Wednesdays when I work nights. I need to figure out some 'me' time! When I get home from work, I am too exhausted to do anything else. I manage to fix some food to eat and that is it. When I take a shower, I have to be extra careful with fatigue and vertigo. It is interesting when I lean my head back to wash my hair. I have to put an elbow on the shower wall to minimize the swimming of my head! Hopefully, soon, I will be able to have a 'life'. Right now, family needs me and I am here for them.
