Fuckin Emos
My friends and I have thrown 4 games of drunken kickball. We rent a baseball diamond for 4 hours or so and get a beer permit which is about $70 total. After that we get a keg for about $70 and if we get enough donations from the players we can get another keg when the first one runs out and keep playing. Every time we play it gets bigger and bigger and the last two times we've played its been swarmed with weird little emo kids. Some are alright to talk to but most of them are just cocky douche bags. Mostly, they suck at kickball and they suck at being cool... all they do is drink and eat and consume far more than they have or ever will contribute. Last night, my team kicked the emo team's ass by 6 or 7 points, because thats how we roll, we're just fuckin good at our shit. The game ended early though cuz the keg was tapped but we had about another hour and a half on the permit. Since some of these emo fags brought underage chicks and the people we actually like were already drunk

Lessons I Have Learned ...
I have had quite an interesting last few days on cherrytap~ I have had a revelaton about the whole downrater thing ... I have been serving as the per say greeting society for the newbies walking in and have found that there are quite a few that rate low because they just dont know the per say rules of engagement.. Most of them mean no harm.. Maybe we should try to help them along. Of course there are the spiteful mean people that just choose to be mean and pull your strings ... Please Pray For My Dad
Last night my dad had a heart attack. We were able to get him to the hospital in time. He had 100% blockage on the right side of the heart and the left side was borderline. They put a stint in on the right side and the left side they are going to watch and treat with medication. He didn't lose much heart muscle because we got him there in time. He is still in ICU this morning. They are waiting for the doctor to come in and check on him this morning. If you could just keep him in your prayers i would appreciate it.

Friends And Confederate Family

The Time Is Getting Near
Ok it is getting closer and closer to my last day of school. I can't believe I am almost to the very end. OK, if this is the way the military is representing our great nation, I am both ashamed and appalled to think about this. Just Another Step
Well, I finally got my Staff to a point that could be considered finished. I was able to get this phase done and present my Staff to the Goddess and the Full Moon. It was a bit of work; sanding the Staff smooth (easy part) and then the tying, knotting and braiding the silk threads to attatch the crow feather onto the Staff (the hard part). If I'm allowed, I'll have a photo of my Staff in my albums here (when I get more space). If felt so good to get that part done. Of course, a proper Staff is never quite finished. It is constantly being added to and 'upgraded' as the practicioner gains knowledge and skills. So far, all I've done with my Staff is present it to the Goddess and 'called down' the Moon with it. That was the first time I've tapped the energy of the Full Moon. WooooWeeee! What a rush!

I Hate Moving
well I have finally found a new place to live. and it is a really great place and I don't think I could get any closer. Its right next door. and that is where the good parts end. What should have been one of the easiest moves in my life has just turned into the worst move of my life. I must be out of my current apartment by August 5, but the house I"m moving into won't be ready for me until the 12th. and I can't get either date to move closer to each other. My current asshole of a landlord is having ppl come into my place to tear out the carpet and completely redo it on the 6th. My new landlord is still living in the house I'm about to start renting won't be moving into his new house until the 12th. He won't be able to move into his new house until he gets new carpeting put into it. So I'm going to be homeless for about a week all because of carpet. It fucking sucks! hello everyone. Hasnt been a good week but decided to write a blog about it... A person I know had some really bad news...Her daughter was in a car wreck that involved 3 vehicles. A guy was turning without break lights or a blinker. She hit him and spinned out...a van from the opposite direction hit her and split her car in half along with killing her 7 month old baby. I just dont understand people. Why cant they keep their vehicles in working order? It could have saved this babies life. Makes me soooo mad. I feel so sorry for her and her family for their loss. Her husband was in Iraq so my son being in the military helped to make sure they sent him home. Terrible news for him also. Anyway...I hope everyone had a safe and fun Labor Day week-end. Fucking Drivers
Just in the last few days I have encountered many different drivers on the road. Just today, driving from picking up my daughter I am behind a car where the driver is flapping his arms madly. Flapping and shaking his head back and forth. Thought “what in the hell? Is he ranting or what?” My first impression he was possibly raging at his passenger. Every few seconds I would see both of his hands going nuts. I had to give him props, this was going on while driving up hill, down hill and around corners, and he was very impressive driving with his knee. This went on for 5 miles. When we came to the junction he was turning left and me right, I was excited to pull up and take a peek at this guy. He was completely alone in his car and was about 65 years old. Umm oooooook…. Two days ago I encountered another first for me. 2006 novel by Elizabeth George. The usual cast of characters of her Scotland Yard novels (Thomas Lynley, Barbara Havers, Winston Nkata...) make but the briefest appearance in it- well, one "usual" character (the "Her" of the title) and one other do make a somewhat longer appearance. Only somewhat. This novel is the story of the lives of two brothers and a sister (the oldest about fifteen, the main character, Joel, twelve) after their grandmother receives- very happily- the news that she's being deported from the UK to Jamaica- and decides to leave the three grandchildren with their unsuspecting aunt- and how the dreams of two of them slowly grow (... and what happens then... unfortunately.) Saddening enough but intended to be (I expect) because sympathetic enough, very well done as I expect from this author, very worth reading especially if one already likes the series itself of course.

I just read an article in this week's People magazine about retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner. She has to been married to her husband for 54 years, and retired a few years ago to take care of her husband who has been disgnosed with Alzheimer's disease 17 years ago. Long story, but the short of it is, I have been having some health problems that may need to be corrected with surgery. This condition is leaving me absolutely exhausted and sleeping a lot. I had it once before when Andrew was almost 2 years old, and had to go in for surgery then. I'm trying to get into the doctor now, but it's hard to get an appointment with him. I would really like to put this off til after Christmas, but I don't think I can now. It's been going on since the beginning of December. I will update everyone when I find out what's going on. Trip To The Er
Well, I just spent 2 hours in the ER tonight. My brother came and took my because my fever was 101 to 103 and I had blurred vision and balence problems. It was not fun to say the least. They drew blood and started an IV (I hate needles!!!!!). I lucked out because they were talking about admitting me but then decided that they could send me home with meds. Thank God! Back Problems
well, here's the deal, i've been dealing with lower back pain for the last week, and got in with the specialist today..well, i found out that i most likely have a herniated disk, which in turn is pinching nerves..which is painful as hell. I have an MRI scheduled for next Tuesday, the 29th. i'll keep ya'll updated as to what is goin on.

I received news from my ex last night that his mom is very very sick... she has been sick for 3 weeks with what they thought was the flu.. she went to the docs and found out the results yesterday... results are not good! Her liver is failing! I was crying.. i couldnt believe it.. so was he... she's a really sweet lady and don't deserve this... please pray she gets better... i mean him and i have been through hell but i'm puttin shit aside to be there for him... i've never heard him being so upset as he was when i talked to him... he could possibl lose his mom... so please pray for her... keep her in your thoughts and prayers.... im doin the same !

My Deployment Unit
i found out today that most the people n the unit im going with have never been deployed. i heard about it today when i was talking to a guy who used to be in the unit. i know im gonna have to listen to stupid people trying to tell me how things are gonna be. they arent gonna listen to a fuckin thing i say, im gonna be treated ike an outcast right off the bat. i would rather this be a deployment to iraq. im not gonna have the feeling i have when im in iraq. the whole i could be killed anytime. it might be dangerous, but i doubt it. i love knowing i could be killed at anytime, it keeps me on my feet.

Very Bad Monday Indeed
I totaled my truck this morn ...roads were shitty and i was bringing my youngest to school when some moron in front of me decided to make a last minute turn in order not to hit him i steered into a parking lot hit ice and smashed into a huge steel beam holding up a sign..most of the impact was on passenger side..my 13 yr old hadnt put her seatbelt on and i hadnt noticed as she was late for school and we were rushing..she hit the windsheild with her head and my legs crunced the sttering wheel..we're both ok however..just kinda a wake up call to pay attention to things that are really important..needless to say she will always have that belt on...

Breckenridge Expansion

They have been good enviromental citizens in their building of a gondola from town as an attempt to reduce the traffic up the mountain every day, especially the diesel busses. The idea of spreading out the ski traffic to a 5th peak would make the skiing there much better on busy weekends like this past one, were 45 minute lift lines in certain areas were common. And the article fails to mention that as smaller ski areas go out of business (Berthoud Pass comes to mind), more area is returned to the back country. Hopefully this won't bring out the eco-terrorists as the Vail expansion did, but you never know.

New Dog?
It seems I got myself a new dog...showed up out of nowhere last friday when I got home from work I was letting the Pablo and Flurry out to the backyard and this dog that looked just like Flurry came in the yard thru a gap on the fence, she is almost all white with some light tan....looks like it has part husky on her...as soon as I have a picture I will put it on the album...I am still looking for the owner but it does not look like anyone is looking for her, I let the pound know in case they get a call, I have been checing the newspaper and the posted signs at the grocery store but nothing yet. she had no collar, bu next month if no one has claimed her, I am taking her for shots and to get her fixed and she's mine...I am calling her Fancy. well everyone at the age of 39 im now a new memaw to a beautiful baby boy ...he was born 3-19-08.his name is jeremey dean ausmus weighted 7 lbs and 14 oz 21.5 inches...he such a joy to have in my life..hes my 2ed grandchild but the first one living.my daughter miscarried when she was 10 weeks old and thats something i just cant forget cause the baby was part of my daughter....im sure i would have been a been proud of my daughter baby to if she had made it...thats why i say jeremy is my 2ed grandchild .anywho my son is a very proud father and jeremey mother doin just fine too and she will be a great mother to my grandson.i wish them all the luck and best of love i can give...

Golden Sauce: 3 t. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. whipping cream 3 t. brandy (may be omitted) Bread Pudding: 3 t. soft butter 3/4 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 t. vanilla 3 1/2 c. milk 8 c. bread cubes cut to 1" square or smaller (sourdough loaf or any heavy bread) 1 3/4 c. fresh blueberries 2 t. sugar 1/2 t. cinnamon Prepare Golden Dessert Sauce: In medium pan, combine butter and sugar. Cook and stir over low heat until butter is melted. Stir in cream, and if desired, brandy. Bring to a boil while continuously stirring; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, for 5-10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Refrigerate if not using in 2 hours. Reheat when serving. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer on med/high speed until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla; beat 2-3 minutes or until fluffy. Slowly stir in milk. Bad Weeks Go On
I have been having some bad weeks every scene i post the frist bad week blog. Every week scenes than my weeks have been just been getting worst because i even know if i going to have a parnter a work if i don't i get told to go home and i lost hours at work and lose money because don't get my 80 hours every 2 weeks that we get paid and just make my weeks get bad because i never know if i'm going to be able to make my truck payment when i lose hours.

I was originally slated to start this course on Sept 15, 2007. Unfortunately, I'm a dumbass and broke my knee. Now that it's healed, I'm going to be starting my POET on June 16th. I'm nervous because I haven't been in the right mentality for course. I'm out of "soldier" mode and in "going to work wearing green" mode. I don't think it will take too long to get myself back into the routine that I was in when I left basic training last August. The POET course is one of the most demanding courses in the CF. I recently started school again. I'm studying for my bachelors degree in criminal investigations. I hope to finish next year and now I'm going to begin working on my resume. I have at least a six-year gap in my work history but since I've been working for myself, I shouldn't have a problem working around that. Pear And Blueberry Granola Cobbler
Hands On: 10 minutes Total: 35 minutes Makes: 6 servings (3/4 cup each) Ingredients PAM Butter No-Stick Cooking Spray 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced pears, drained 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed, drained 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup low-fat granola 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Reddi-wip Fat Free Dairy Whipped Topping, optional Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. Combine pears, blueberries and lemon juice in medium bowl. Spray evenly with additional cooking spray; toss to coat.
