I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEONE COULD HURT SOMEONE SO HELPLESS Pray for baby Kaleb.Add to My Profile | More Videos Kristy Reynolds and her husband are parents to a beautiful little baby boy named Kaleb. He is 6 months and 3 days old. A couple weeks ago Kristy picked Kaleb up from home care and noticed something was wrong. She immediately took him to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome. He now has meningitis in response the the surgeries on his brain, his body can't regulate his temperature, his heart rate drops every time he is moved, and he has seizures. He is also blind. His sitter shook him so hard that he is in a coma, had to have spinal fluid drained from his brain, and doctors think that if he lives he will be a vegetable for the rest of his life. Brain scans show that his brain tissue is dying and his brain is shrinking. Kristy and her husband refuse this diagnosis and pray for their little boy. My boy !! Father is a word but what does mean? Well if grow up in the "Hood" it means lucky!! I know what it is not to have a DAD in my life but was lucky to have a strong down south mother to keep from going the wrong ways in life but that was many years ago. When he fell- i fell with him and WE both got up. hey, havn't been able to get to the comp for a while.. got a touch of the flu Friday night, by Saturday, I was sick as a dog. ended up going to the walk in clinic, and got a shot of demorol and gravol, that set me up for the rest of the day.. lol By Sunday morning my blood sugar meter was showing a reading of 20 (that's 360 on the US scale). took some insulin, got it down to 16.4 (295), took MORE insulin.. by 9 am, my meter was showing 6.6 (119)). I was still sick as a dog, bouncing in and out of a coma. ended up in the back of an ambulance.. the hospital did some blood work, turned out my meter FAILED.. my sugar was at 38 (684). I was in ICU from Sunday to Wednesday.. so if you sent me any msgs in the shout box, they were all lost, so don't be mad at me for not answering!! but please send them again, if you know me, you know I'll return them.. Still No Sleep
This insomnia is getting worse. The last 5 nights I have gotten no more than one hour sleep. I've tried TV off, TV on, wine, bananas, and over the counter pain killers but I just can't sleep for more than a few minutes at a time. I know that sleep deprivation causes hallucinations, depression, confusion, and a host of physical problems, but I seem to be healthy by my estimation. Do you guys agree? Yeah? Cool! The little guys in my desk drawer agree, and despite them telling me to pick the Pirates in the Superbowl, I still love them.

O.k. So my boss right now is a douche bag. If you read my previous blogs you know that I have taken a demotion at work. For some reason my boss resents me and is doing everything he can to make my job hell. I have to drive forty minutes to work everyday. When I had been there for an hour this morning they told me to punch out and came back at noon. I told them that was ridiculous, if they wanted me to go home for the day that was fine, but to expect me to drive back and forth twice. So they sent me home. What an ass.

This morning Mike got up and took Mykala to the doctor to see if the jaundices was going down. When he called me at 11 am and told me that it was 11 I was happy. Now that I know my little girl is going to be alright. Her weight is now 6lbs 9ozs. The doctor said that she is doing really well. School pics for Jake is on Sept 12. Lookin forward to that; I certainly hope that Jake will do well with that...he seems to be doing a lot better now though but this will be the first professional pic taken without me, we shall see. Jake seesm to be doing well in school these days. He does not have the best behavior in class but at least I have not had a conference with his teacher yet. Open house will be coming up soon, too. I can't wait to be there to see Jake's accomplishments. Labor Day weekend actually turned out really well. We ended up staying at the Louisville state recreation park. R.i.p. Charlie Wheeler
LOUISVILLE (WAVE) -- A Louisville icon has died. His name was Charlie Wheeler, but everyone knows him as "Tattoo Charlie." The 56-year-old came down with a sudden illness Friday and died at Jewish Hospital. Charlie Wheeler was more than a tattoo artist. He was a shriner for Kosair. He appeared as Santa Claus at the Home of the Innocents, worked with Camp Quality in Leitchfield which serves children with cancer and he started Toys for Tots drives in Hardin and Bullitt Counties. Visitation for Wheeler will be held at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway this weekend. Funeral services are set for Monday at 2 p.m.

Update On My Brothers Accident
sorry i havent ben on too much but family matters has taken precedence it has been the hardest time of my life for a long time recently when i got the phone call to say my brother had been in a serious accident i felt like my world had collapsed now - less than 2 weeks later he may be coming home the transition is unbelievable i've lost track of the times my emotions have got the better of me and i have just cried and cried and now for something completely amazing..... he will come away from this with a broken foot and some cuts and bruises the boy is such a fighter i tip my hat to him in total admiration at his determination to recover my little brother ! he's still the luckiest bastard i know........

Why Can We Not Get Points?
Last time I checked, we are all adults here on the Fu, so why is it that when it comes to adult oriented material that we are being penalized so to speak by not getting points for rating others pics and/or recieving points for having our own rated/commented on? Update Since I Haven't Been On Much
I received an email asking where I have been. It came from the fubar staff so I know that not many people on here miss me. I have been busy with real life. Spending time with my son and learning how to laugh again. Working on my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Going out on a couple of dates from time to time. And looking for a job that I can be happy with. I finally found a job. Customer Service Rep at Musician's Friend. I start training Monday and am looking forward to it very much. I've been up against some extreme shit, long story short ,my youngest son was on trial for a car wreck & the courts found him guilty & sent him to prison ! I will never believe this wreck is all his fault , nor does the rest of our family believe this . In the mean time , I've had my oldest son back to the veterans hospital & we need to go back again.For now I'm just trying to stay focused & on track , Not an easy task. Today I placed a call to the Mr.Coffe customer service dept. That did not go well. I also wrote an email to the customer service dept. Perhaps that will get some attention. Amanda Cantrell's phone rang at about 8:20 a.m. Sunday morning. The woman calling told Cantrell that she had her dog. "I didn't get her name," Cantrell said. "I didn't ask any questions. She just said, ‘We have your dog.'" Cantrell threw on some clothes and headed to the woman's home on Swepsonville Road, which is about five miles from where Cantrell lives. She was thrilled to be reunited with Copper, a chocolate Chihuahua. Copper, a 3-pound chocolate Chihuahua, had been missing since Thursday. "Honestly, we were hoping we'd see him again," Cantrell said. "It was a welcomed surprise. It goes to show that prayers are answered." Copper got out of Cantrell's house on Thursday afternoon. He followed Cantrell's 5-year-old son out the door.

Taking Care Of Business
I keep walking...I keep talking...but my hands tremble and my knees are weakened by life as it throws those awful stones. I Lost all of my points and fu-buxs last Monday the 9th. lost over 2 mil in fubuxs and like 1.8 mil in points.
