Knightskitty Needs Help
Appointment with doctor went well...Change in plans as they cannot put my son on the donor list we have to find a live donor....Can you please help me to get the word out here....The surgery will take place in about 6 months..It will be done like no other ever preformed...Normal kidney transplants kidneys stay in the body...With Shawn they have to remove them as his kidneys are his disease...They will then put the new kidney in the front versus the back...The surgery being prefomed is referred to as an unconventional surgery being as it has never been attempted and therefore it is really expermental...My son is the oldest alive with this disease and the doctors are amazed at that..They beleive that if we remove the kidneys from his body it will work but because he is not in kidney failure he will be needing a live donor....Please help me by reposting to all your friends..I just dont know what to do or how to go about all this so I am asking Jesus to please guide my fingers and to pleas

The Price Of Film
Oy. So I took waaaaaaaay too many rolls of film at faire last weekend. I have a digital camera but for the close ups that I wanted of certain shows I needed an SLR camera. Well, the only SLR I own is an APS film camera. Three rolls of film cost me 15 bucks! So I took a lot of pictures. I'm gonna be pissed if they don't turn out. Esp since it's gonna cost me about $66 to develop them when I pick them up at lunch. Once again I'm wishing that I had a digital SLR. Oy. I'll update with non-bitchy stuff later. :)

Being a mother I have tried to raise my children to have respect for all people. They can be rambunctious at times... but when we are in public they listen. Today I am out shopping, there is a boy about the same age as my son pushing the cart while his mother shops. The mother is walking through the aisles and choosing this and that at random. Things That Get Me Upset
Ok so I have been looking to move and so I went to check out a few places like apt, roommates, houses. Now this is my problem, a friend of mine said his friend was wanting roommates. She already has a 2 year old and is 3 months preg. When I went to go check out her place it was trashed and stunk, I can't see how people can live that way. Okay so I told you that story to tell you this story. My whole class took our professor out for lunch and drinks yesterday afternoon. Been Awhile
It has been awhile since I have done any blogging. I have just not really given it much thought to do so. I just decided to write a little bit to let everyone know what I have been up to lately. I was working there for a few months at the local Town Pump. I really liked my job too. But I quit when someone who I once called friend started making trouble for me. She started spreading rumors around that I was fucking the boss just to get hours. Although I liked my boss, it just wasn't true. Then she started other viscious rumors, so I just decided to leave. Other than that, I have been taking care of my family at home. I love being able to spend time with my kids and husband. Being home also gives me the time to really work on my oils and herbs that I need for rituals, spellwork, and purification cerimonies. I have been reading many books as of late on the Wicca way of life and trying hard to apply it to my own life. So far it is working quite nicely. I take a lot of pride in my beliefs

Kathy has been gone for 2 days and I miss her like crazy, I am hanging out at the apartment and I am very calm and happy but I miss my girlfriend. She is having a very good time in Philadelphia, she is seeing her daughter and her foster daughter also. I told her to not be in a hurry to come back home because she does not get a chance to go home that often, so i must be patient because all my friends and family are here and Kathy must travel 800 miles to see her friends and family so I understand. So, Why The Ink?
Sad stories and healing. May of this year my nieces stepdaughter (my great niece), great nieces mother and her mothers fiance and younger half brother died in a car wreck. Four friends, people I loved, gone in an eyeblink, my family was shaken to the core. That's the basic background. Now my great niece, Champagne, was probably one of the coolest people I ever met, at 15 years old she was more together than most adults I know, her theme song was Move Along by the All-American rejects. After a couple of months of moping I realized that this was a good idea and since she and I were both fans of ink, though I'd never been inked until this tat, I decided that those two words would be the beginning of a memorial tat for all of them. Whenever a bonfire is burning and you stare into the flames seeing visions of your past good and bad, almost as if the fire has a way of knowing your past. Anatomy Lab :)
So last night was the best Anatomy lab yet! We got to cut the heart out of our cadavers and it was amazing. Do you know what it's like to hold a human heart in your hands? We cut it into a cross section to look at the atriums and ventricles. It was the most amazing situation that has ever happened to me. We learned how much work is involved with heart transplants and how quickly the whole situation has to occur. Next is the brain and I can't wait to hold it in my hands :)

Ok so I took my first step to becoming metrosexual today....It was a baby step as well but a step none the less.... The Pain Is So Unbearable
this is why i have not ben on much this last 6 days or so this was my 17 year old cousin who was killed this last saturday night. Sitting here realizing that this next week is going to be so hard on me. Not only am I feeling like I am getting older (my daughter turns 18 on Valentine's Day) but the day after my daughters birthday last year I had to put my dog of 12 years down. I was driving to go get Jake to go to school this morning... not but 2 or more hours ago, when I swerved off the road because of some slush and hit a small but very resisted tree. Chipped Beef A La Zola
Hot Chipped Beef ala Zola Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 4 Tbl butter, divided one half cup of sour cream one half cup mayonnaise 1 - 8oz package of cream cheese, softened to room temperature 5 oz of sliced corned beef chopped 1 cup of chopped pecans whole wheat crackers In a large sauté pan put in the onion, green pepper, and two tablespoons of the butter. Heat on medium high until the onion and bell pepper are softened. Add the sour cream, mayo, cream cheese and chopped beef. Stir on medium low until you have a creamy white sauce and the beef is all mixed in. Pour this whole concoction into a 9 X 9 oven proof pan. In a small sauce pan put in the last two tablespoons of butter. Start the better melting and add the pecans. Coat the pecans in the hot butter until hot and bubbly and then spread them across the top of the cream cheese/ beef mixture. Bake 15 - 20 minutes until the dish is completely heated through

I hate hate hate getting up early. However, sometimes it's worth it. Today I'm in an awesome mood, everything is perfect. I don't know what is better though.. The mist is flowing through the mountain-tops, barely concealing the snow and trees. It looks like a snow-covered wonderland of magic. The dew is sparkling on the grass, shining bright with all the colors of the rainbow in a thin sheen over the fresh-cut grass. Perception
It's amazing what you see when you miss it so much. Today was the first full day I've been without my family. My reception to things has been difficult. I hear children when no children are near. Everything I see everything I do reminds me of my kids. Not knowing how they are or what they are being told is driving me to the brink. I had to go to the store today and get some essentials and everywhere I turned there were families. I never noticed them before when I was with mine. I feel like a stranger. An outsider. I have no real reason to be. Why go home? There is nothing there. Why go to work? There is no reason to have money. I miss my family. I want them back. Depressed
Well my 15 yr. old daughter is sitting in juvenile right now. I went to a detention hearing today and she is going to stay in there until the 22nd when she has another hearing. I hate that she is in there. It hurt so bad when they said she was going to stay there. I really don't know what to do. My husband and family probably think that I want her to stay in there but I really don't.
