Two Years Clean......
Wow......I'm two years clean yesterday.....clean from a horror known as methanphetamine. Yeah and i'm definitely proud of myself because it's such a battle. People don't know what i have to deal with daily and weekly. For those of you who don't know me as well, here's the deal: I used to be a meth junkie. I just smoked the stuff and snorted it all the time (never ever got the nerve to shoot it up, thank god), but I was REALLY BAD on this stuff. I originally started doing it for work purposes to stay alert (and this was when I was 11 years old). after that job was over, I stopped for a bit then went back on it. I slowly became more and more and more addicted and soon....I was spending all of my money on it. I stole for it. That shit had me on a fucking leash! I would do whatever for it (almost whatever hahaha). For the uneducated, meth eats away your muscles and fat. I shrank down a lot. I used to be very thick and chunky, and then meth solved that problem....and adding a new one: addic

For Everyone Asking To Join The Posse...
A bunch of people are asking to join the PIMPED posse. For those who don't know, the posse is simply a small group of people who are willing to repost bulletins that are created by PIMPED in an effort to spread the word to those who may not be on the PIMPED friends list. In turn the posse is posted on the PIMPED website with links to their individual profiles to hopefully get them some more traffic. For now this is limited to 10 men and 10 women. I am going to Daytona in March for a few days for Bike Week...something I have always wanted to do and since my bro lives in Fla well I am going to stay with him and enjoy the sun and bikes and of course Goofy!!! Where I Have Been
Hello all my cherry friends. I know I have not been in in quiet awhile. But I have been dealing with sick kids again. My oldest son has been real sick and is now scheduled for surgery on Feb. 21. He had an infection in his sinus cavity in Dec. and now he is having to have his tonsils and adnoids taken out. They are twice the size they should be right now and there is a chance if they get much bigger his surgery will be sooner than what it is scheduled to be. From all of this he is staying dizzy, keeping headaches and has alot of trouble seeing. He is taking up alot of my time so that is why I have not been here much. Everyone just keep remembering him. Ahh So This Isnt So Good...
Monday (yesterday) I was involved in a car accident. My poor little del Sol is now undrivable and Im sad... Dont worry everyone... I've only sustained bruises. It was my fault unfortunately :( But no one was hurt thank god. My car looked a hell of alot worse than his did. The whole bumper was taken off of mine (it was plastic lmao) and at least he had all of his. Suprisingly, I didnt have nightmares last night about it. In the mean time, I've met this great guy who's a great support beam for me. He listens, and gives great advice. Theres quite a bit of age difference but we can talk for hours (or at least I usually do the bitching haha). So yeah... Right now, I have goods and bads. The great thing is, I have this good that'll be there for me no matter what happens. Its a great feeling. Have a great Tuesday y'all :)

For those of you kind enough to have read my 'deleted' blog of late last night, I thank you for taking the time to read, comment, console, bitch at and generally MAKE my mood a bit better. For a couple years now I 've been blaming this feeling on lack of sleep and too much pressure from my job, but now I found out the real reason: I'm tired because I'm overworked. The population of this country is 300 million. 167 million are retired. That leaves 133 million to do the work. There are 85 million in school, which leaves 48 million to do the work. Of this there are 29 million employed by the federal government, leaving 19 million to do the work. 2.8 million are in the Armed Forces, which leaves 16.2 million to do the work. Take from the total the 14,800,000 people who work for State and City Governments and that leaves 1.4 million to do the work. At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving 1,212,000 to do the work. Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two people to do the work. You and me. I decided I should write about my path to graduation. College graduation is in about two months and if all goes right I should be walking across that stage. How Can This Be Fair?
I'm just writing today to vent a little. Most of my friends know I am a paramedic. Last night I was working in the ER and a 4 yr old boy was brought in by his parents completely unresponsive. He had no heartbeat, was not breathing, and was basically foaming at the mouth. It was so sad. We worked on him for more than an hour and there was just nothing we could do. Turns out his parents had left insecticide unprotected under the sink...he thought it looked yummy and decided to drink it. I have lost patients before..but the sight of this tiny blonde child on the table with nothing I can do to save him just overwealmed me. It just doesn't seem fair for a child to be taken when there are so many horrible people in this world leading great lives.

Omg What Did I Get Into
Renovations started today and now were trying to scramble to get the trailer ready to move in. INstead of starting with the roof like we were told they started with Elecrical and ripping the ceiling out of the bathroom. So my house is a disaster. Theres a bunch of stuff stacked in the kids room. As well as at the trailer. Theres piles upon piles of ceiling junk in my bathroom just in piles. Leavin' On A ... Passenger Train...
So today is our last day all together for awhile. Jim took yesterday and today off since he figured he wouldn't be taking any leave while he is in San Diego for work the next few months. He has pretty much told them he wants to work as much as possible and they were just fine with that. It already looks like the whole crew will be doing six tens... meaning ten hour days, six days a week. Right now, he's out taking care of some errands like getting supplies for kitties and crabbies (since they are heavy and he doesn't want me lugging them in... aaaw) and paying off bills so that I won't have to worry about it. What a good guy. Though he did make me cry yesterday. We were snuggling on the couch and I said, "Don't go." I just meant that I would miss him but he got pissed off for whatever reason. I think he was really just more frustrated and sad that he was going to miss us, too. But it didn't quite come out right. He apologized and got me a Frappuccino, his version of flowers.

I went in search of some music to be played at his funeral yesterday for his wife. One song I found easily enough was Tina Turner's "The best". She was Terry's favourite. The other one wasnt so easy. Its a song by Ned Millar (ive never heard of him before" called from "A Jack to a King", apparently Terry Sand it to his wife the day he proposed, any ways with the help of 2 very helpful staff members of the Sight and Sound library I managed to track it down and hired it from the local library. Donations For Chemo
I was told that St. Jude in TN and children's hospital in New Orleans will give a chemo treatment to a child in need for every gallon jug full of can tabs that are donated. So if any of you drink beer in a can or sodas in a can, please save the tabs. The can tabs get recycled and the money is donated to those hospitals for the children. Pre Op Work Up
So,I went to the hospital this morning to pre register for monday and to have all my lab work done and passed out not once,but twice while they were drawing my blood.That was embaressing to say the least lol and damn the technician I told her I have small veins and that they always use the butterfly needle when I have my blood drawn,but nooooooooooooooo,I dont know what I'm talking about right?!?! well they stuck me three times b4 they decided to use one SOB's.and they also put a wrist band on that I can not get wet,they gave me some latex gloves incase it's absolutly nessecary that I get wet,so no dish duty YAY!!!!but how the hell am I supposed to wash my hair???

Well for the semi-good news:: I'm moving to a bigger place in two weeks A THREE BEDROOM YAY!! that will cost me only 150 more than im paying now....work is still going great, im in my eigth month and getting my medical benefits, Old lady charlie is back with me and moving into the three bedroom with me and i have a restraining order on the somoan that has been giving me troubles.......he can no longer hurt me again....the pd are watching him now for drugs. BlueGrass! So I went up to Grassvalley this weekend for the annual fathers day weekend Bluegrass Festival. It was AWESOME! Now I know a lot of you will think, bluegrass, isn't that oakie music? Well, yeah some of it is, but not all of it. I would have to say that my favorite band from this weekend was John Reischman and the Jaybirds was my favorite. I caught all of their shows- there were three. Their music is just mellow, kind of like a mixture of country and folk. I just sat there and listened and read, wrote, or closed my eyes and picked out a certain instruance and focused on it (too many years of music classes!) It was awesome though. I know I haven't been around much other than today but I've had a lot on my plate with my Mom being sick. I assumed today my mom was going to be coming home from the hospital but looks like it's not going to happen. They ran more test and indeed the cancer has spread to her live and stomach. Doctor's Visit
Yesterday I went to the doctor for my yearly physical. My blood pressure was high, my cholesterol was high, I'd gained some weight and I didn't feel so hot. Diet
so i've been on a diet ad exercising for about 12 days now. Which for me is a big thing because i have a problem with sticking to diets lol. My moms dog is going to drive me nuts. All he does is whine, so when he's really whining about something[like having to potty] you cant tell, because he cries wolf all the time.
