The Blinding...
So.. It was just wonderful. I have never felt so good about someone in my life. It just seemed too good to be true. The days were going by.. We went out and had fun together.. Ok so I had a job interview the other day. they called and invited me back for a second interview. I go for that on Wensday morning. What Have I Been Up To This Weekend?

A Very Busy Week
I think we've got a lot accomplished this week, despite the chaos that is everyday life. The Honda is fixed thanks to my boyfriend's hours of troubleshooting and rewiring (cross your fingers on this one), I found my old cell phone to give to a friend in need of a phone, we got the front hall closet empty of moving detritus and full of proper hall closet stuffings like coats and shoes and a vacuum, I got to see a good friend twice even though she was only in town for three days, I posted a pretty kick-ass update to my website, and I've been offered a new business proposal to think about. First my biology professor forgot the test in his truck last night, so now I have to wait until tomorrow to take the test, than on Tuesday I have ANOTHER bio test! So because of the type of cyst I have they are going to do the surgery.I found out at my pre op appt. that it is not only fluid filled but aslo has solid mass.So they're gonna go in and take it out and do a biopsy.I'm scared as shit!The Dr said she would do everything in her power to leave some healthy tissue behind so that I can still produce hormones(I had an eptopic prgnancy where they removed my tube ,but I can't remember if my other ovary was involved,I'm praying not)And then I got the idea running through my head that if the cyst comes back as malignant it's all not really gonna matter anyhow.I really don't want to have to have all my reproductive organs removed and go on hormones.There is going to be a 6 to 8 week recovery time and I'm at loss as to whos gonna help me with my son,We only have my siter and brother inlaw out here and they both work and I'd hate for my Husband to have to use all of his sick and vacation time up to stay home and take care of the both of us.Just so m

sigh... so the title says it all... mostly... my lap top is gone for about 2 weeks... until then im stuck using the pc... Melissa!!!
As a lot of you may already know, my cousin, Melissa, has gone through a really rough bout as of late! She is also someone very close to me, and we have gone through a lot together over the years. When family life became too stressful, she took me in. When I had my stroke (which cancer had caused, we found out later), she was at the hospital every day and was even the first person I saw when I woke up. Like I said, we have experienced a lot together! Just over a week ago, Melissa had been in a car accident, very reminiscent to the one I had seen the week before (I describe it in 'A Rough And Sad Day...'). She had been in critical condition and was touch and go for many hours. She even started crashing on a few occasions. Child Abuse
I just watched a myspace video about a baby boy named Kaleb. It was so sad. He had been shaken by his babysitter and now lays in the PICU of the hospital in Florida. Why do people do that? I just can't understand why people would abuse their children little own a baby. I feel very badly for the parents, and hope and pray that little Kaleb makes it through this. As a mother of 2 boys, I can only imagine what they are going through. Not to mention that if it were me I would make the person who did it pay with their life. I currently work nights on a road construction project on a major road in Detroit. I was walking down the street at around 2:30am when I noticed a well dressed woman walking across the parking lot of a McDonalds alone. Well, on that same day, at night - I found Missy- not even 3 year old Dane Girl. Emaciated, HW positive, massive Phermitria, Mastitis, skinny as a bone,sweet as can be. She also has lacerations on her throat, by her ears, like somebody attacked her or wanted to cut her throat. Missy had to be rushed to the vet's office. She could not even lift her head. Im really getting sick and tired of every single time I go to work, I do dishes. I never see any other waitresses do a full shift of dishes besides and and Scott. Where to begin! This wild ride actually began on Thursday! A friend of mine was involved in a car accident, having an 18-wheeler collide with her car. She and her two kids were rushed to the hospital. The kids had minor injuries, but my friend got the worst of it! The doctors said originally that she would not make it through the night! Then again, what do they know, because she did! During the course of the night, her vitals had crashed several times. Pretty much the same the next day! It was decided that they would induce her into a coma, because the stress on her heart was so great. Now, a little more than 48 hours after the coma was induced, she has come back to us; she woke up! Ball Pits Are Not Safe For Kids? Wtf????
McDonalds, Chuck E Cheese, Discovery Zone... All places withball pits in the children's play area. One of my sons lost his watch,and was very upset. Broccoli Rice Quiche
Broccoli Rice Quiche Serves 6 Ingredients: 1/1/2 cups Milk 3 Eggs 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard 1/3 cup Onion, chopped 1 cup Swiss Cheese, shredded 1/2 cup Red Pepper, diced 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen Broccoli, chopped 3/4 cup uncooked instant brown or white Rice In a large saucepan, start heating the milk and let it get very hot (but not boiling). Meanwhile, beat eggs and mustard in a small bowl until well blended. Add onion, cheese, and red pepper; mix well. Stir both broccoli and rice into the hot milk. Slowly add the egg mixture, stirring constantly. Pour into a greased 9-inch pan. Bake at 350-F degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. **********************
