I was talking about this song to a friend, and thought I'd post it. The Velvet Underground is one of my favorite bands, and Lou Reed is one of my all-time favorite musicians/songwriters. I first found out about this song when it was played in The Royal Tenenbaums, and it just excited me that such a beautiful song by one of the greatest bands ever had my name in it. Why U Hide Your Emotion
You hide your emotion sometimes .You are a moon type of person. You tend to be the quiet type or in contrast, you are not happy but sometimes you act it out in order for you to not burden your friends with your problems. You've faced some problems in your life. Your heart has been dealt blows before . You tend to think about things a lot more than other people, and you may get annoyed with people who act out without thinking about consequences. You are also the type of person that others often come to with their problems because you've been through plenty, and you are very understanding. Though you sometimes feel lonely, your demeanor is usually chill, and relaxed. You usually are logical, and rely a lot on facts and information on decisions. You often keep things to yourself. This is just one side of you, and you have different faces in different situations and environments, just like the moon has phases.

Winter Time

Ok...so I just got home from taking my senior citizen mother shopping for food and stuff and all that is good...happy to do it. Anyway, as we walk to the car and unpack the groceries the shopping cart gets blown by the wind into a caravan. No big deal. No damage. Not even a scrape. So this Pakistani/Indian guy hops out of his caravan and starts berating my mom. He did not see me as i was loading the goods into the trunk. I saw him start up with my mother when I come from out of nowhere and tell the dude to "Back off!. The wind took the shopping cart and she apologized...no need to talk to the lady so mean." He panicked in fear and said I "will call the cops." in his accent. I told the guy "I don't give of fuck if you call Al Quaeda, you're going to talk to my mother with respect or as Allah as my witness I will kick the ever living shit out of you." I never dreamed slowly cruising through a residential neighborhood could be so incredibly dangerous! Problem!
I'm wearing this skirt .... it is new and it is a mini made of that lycra stretchy kind of fabric. Day 2 - Somewhere
Somewhere is Sophia Coppola's second film I've seen. This is the first time I've watched this film and it let me down. I am a huge fan of Lost in Translation and had high hopes for this. I heard it was slow so I at least prepared myself for the pace. The first shot is a car going in a circle five time and then stopping and a guy steps out. It's probably a two minute shot that sets up the pace you have to get used to. Once the movie got going I was fine with the slow pace. One thing I can say about Sophia is that she knows how to make characters. The scenes between father and daughter are enjoyable to watch and build the connection you are hoping they have. With the first half hour being no kid, the film really didn't seem to be needed that much. You can get that he is a numb actor with a lot less than the 30 minutes he gets. Nonetheless the film works. Today's movie was Primer. This is the first time I've watched this and I have to watch it again. After watching Triangle (yesterday's film) it lead me down a path of movies that deal with time and make you think. I'm a sucker for time travel. Primer is that type of film. It's the thinking man's or woman's type of sci fi film. It's about two guys who invent a time travel box. The film is too smart to understand the first time. If you are not confused after you watch it then you are Einstein. The first 20 minutes is rambling and what I assume to be when smart people get together they would talk like this. It made me kind of jealous because I want to talk so smart that a lesser mind would be baffled. After being confused for a while, I started to understand what they were building and how they built it. When they finally reveal the time travel it is wonderful. It's a mystery for the audience as it's hard to comprehend what is going on. After you think you have caught up it kicks you back

Ok so need some ideas i have ran out of ideas of what todo..Miss lilly has well moreless become cling onto mom all the time. there is only 1 of my sitters now that i can leave her with and not have to deal with the screaming kid when mom leaves for work...Also she is almost 20 months old wont take her nap, and frankly fights her sleep all together. we have been doing the same routin ever since i started my job and she has always taken a nap around noon-1 somtimes 1-2. and then to bed at 5:30 to 6:30pm Since i get up at midnight for work. in which she goes with and she always went right back to sleep in the car...Now she wont even take her nap, wont even go to sleep at bed time, meaning i am lucky to get 2-4 hrs of rest before i have to be up for work...Yet she will sleep in the car, but when get home she wont even lay back down...We have always done the play time, dinner, Bath time, Book time, then lay down for bed. but she just screams and litterally doesnt stop screaming..What else c

Sep 29, 2006 Hello All... Just a quick note from yet another internet cafe. Ken and I are in downtown London waiting to meet Charles for dinner. We spent a few hours tooling around. What the hell happend to the weekend ??? I was working on the SOS BUS ( a scheme to help those that are vunerable on friday & saturday nights) voluntry and love every minute of it. Nothing beat the feeling of helping someone out and receiving a "Thank You" at the end of it. Saturday was pretty much a lazy one chilling out and trying to catch up on sleep as I didn't finish on the SOS BUS till 4am (I know sucker for punishment) Sunday was catch up day for me meeting up with friends and finding out what ever they got up to and who is seeing who and screwing who (you know how it is) Now today and I'm catching up with some studying and those I didn't at the weekend. life this past week has been dull beyong dull. And for some strange reason i just got an urge to watch the labryinth... hmmmm Anyway. I've done a lot of stupid shit in my life, and this one is up there. I thought that I was being the good guy to one person by stabbing the other in the back. Friends Suck Sometimes
Have you ever had a friend who you continuously flakes out on you? Ever had a friend who doesn't put out 1/4 of the effort you do in your relationship? Catch Up...
Well, recovery is just about done...I still can't do too much at one time without getting too worn out and/or hurting, so that part is still going slow but for it only being a little over a month and having such an invasive surgery done, I'm doing pretty darn well with my recovery. Troy is now is Iowa for work which will probably go on until mid November or so, not too sure about that but after my doctors appointment on the 25th, the kids and I will head out there to visit him for the weekend and I think maybe 3 weeks later at the most, he'll end up going somewhere else, probably Indiana. Needless to say, the place is a total disaster area. I try to clean, but I can only do so much before the pain starts in so of course, what little I got cleaned, get messed up again within the next few minutes. Do the kids help out? Tasty Recipes Ok, I still feel new to this single life and I have come to realize that living like a stereotypical bachelor in eating habits isn't a very good thing. I enjoy cooking but I've reached a mental blank on fixing things that are healthy and don’t take all day to prepare. So where am i going with this blog?? 2 Accused Of Putting Staples In Ketchup
Fri Nov 17, 8:56 PM ET Two students are accused of putting staples in ketchup at the Winfield high school and middle schools — an incident that has school officials reviewing their kitchen-access policy. Officials were alerted after two students eating lunch found the staples in their food Wednesday. Food service workers found more staples in the bottom of ketchup bins being used in the lunch lines. They quickly removed hamburgers from the menu and called police. After investigating, police learned the staples were placed in the ketchup last week. They said no further arrests are expected. School officials said they will look at changing their policy for allowing people in the kitchen. The students arrested could be suspended for a short term or be expelled, Superintendent Marvin Estes said. A hearing to decide their punishment has not been held.

This morning at 11:45 my grandmother passed away. She suffered for over 3 months with Conjestive Heart Failure. This is the woman who raised me and my siblings until I was 12 years old. Best Xmas Present Ever!
My buddy asks me to stop by and, while talking to him, he grunts 'There's your christmas present' and points at this black pack on his table. I say 'inside the pack' and he goes'no it is the pack'. Inside is, first off the Zombie Survival handbook (Max Brooks) and an absolutely wicked ghurka style machete. There is a smaller pack inside with a first aid kit, some MREs and water in packets, a few carbon knives, a compass. In short everything you would need for a zombie uprising. Beerless Christmas
O M F G I am never going to my grandma's for Christmas again! She asked me to be there at noon, so I was there. She had some cooking left to do, so I asked her if there was anything I could do. She got mad about that. Then, I tried to talk to her. Every time she would ask me a question, I'd be half way through my answer when she'd start a noisy appliance. After that, she'd ask me to repeat myself, and start another noisy appliance. Finally, we ate, and went into the livingroom. She asked me something about work, and left the room to do dishes before I could answer. While waiting (2 hours) for her to return to the room, because she didn't want me in the kitchen, I fell asleep. Then she acted like I was being rude to have slept while she wasn't even there! Tribute To My Grandmother
My grandmother passed away earlier tonight (Thursday, January 18, 2007). She was a Godly lady who was the rock of my family. Physical Therapy
I am going to physical therapy for my back. When i get there, they ask me my pain level, itsnear a 4 or 5 , somedays a 8 or 10. but it never fails when i leave, i am in more pain than when i started. so today i went and signed ion, did a couple a stretches and snuck out..................now i feel much better

So I was minding my own business and one of my friends on here decided to post a New Kids On The Block video. Now I have liked NKOTB since as long as I can remember, even though the broke up when I was 7 or something like that. But ever since I saw that video I have been remembering how much I liked the group and the music. So I ordered the CD's for my IPOD and have been listening to Hangin' Tough all day at work. I still have two VHS's of there's one of music videos and the other of a concert. I can remember when I used to have slumber parties and we HAD to watch the concert one at LEAST once that night. I think at one point in time my cousin and I used to know ALL the dance moves to the songs, which is kinda scary to me. My friends and I used to all play barbies together and I had a Jordan doll, ( Yes he was my favorite) and a one legged Jon Doll. I have no idea how he ended up with one leg.
