Well This Weekend Is Gonna Suck

Anniversary Of A Sad Day
Ok, so the actual anniversay is tomorrow December 13 but I'm going to go ahead and post this up today. It was on this day 5 years ago that death metal legend and forefather Charles "Chuck" Schuldiner passed away at the age of 34. You see this isn't just another case of "oh another rockstar died, no big deal" because this is far more different. You see Chuck was diagnosed with what started out to be a brain tumor that later turned cancerous and in which case ultimately caused his death. But in the wake of all that it didn't break his spirit or get him down one bit, he was still writing the follow up to the first Control Denied album (his 2nd band outside of Death) and was also still doing tours as to raise money to be able to afford treatment for his cancer. How Many More...
How many more of our brave men & women will we lose before the great "Decider", decides to let them come home. I would rather have my friends and family home and safe than fighting some forsaken war on foreign soil...for people who'd sooner piss on our ashes than welcome us. We are not wanted there. Sure the whole government could collapse if we pull out today. However, the likelyhood of the government *ever* being stable enough there is slim. Hell, we could stay there 10 years and lose countless men and women...and still have the "new government" collapse when we finally leave. It will never be over. The middle east has been unstable for thousands of years, what makes the great "Decider" think he can make the difference? My heart goes out to each and every serviceperson and their families. I honor you and the burdens you bear. My hope is that you can soon come home and put those burdens down. May you come home whole and healthy.

I went to Carey Perloff's Luminescence Dating at the Magic Theatre at Fort Mason. I greatly enjoyed the play, but I doubt that any who had not suffered through the Classical college curriculum could appreciate the subtler references within the work. Thumbs up to Italy, which has joined the war against stick models, along with Spain and Brazil. There is a plague among the gorillas of Zaire, not unlike the Ebola virus which has effected the humans of that region. There are two possible disease vectors: other gorillas and fruit bats. I am inclined to believe that the latter is the true vector. Ebola acts through contaminated bodily fluids. Gorillas do not gather in large groups, which limits the effectiveness of the disease vector. Fruit bats, however, could fly between tree before perishing, and their corpses would remain in the copse from which the unfortunate primates dined.

School Is Done...for Now!
Got my final grades in..and I'm really happy with them. Though of course, in typical Jessica fashion, I'm hard on myself because I know that I could've done "even better" had I given it MORE effort.. but it seemed to come so easily that I didn't give it that last bit of "oomph". BUT... I shouldn't complain and I'm not...really. lol I got a B+ in English Comp., and my professor there gave me a compliment and said I should think about a Degree program because I'd "do really well" in that. (I'm going for a certificate right now) So it was nice to hear that, since I haven't been to school in 18 years. And, I got a 98 for a grade on my final in Medical Terminology and an A for the course. And yes, that is great, but I know I could've done even better, but I kinda slacked a little at the end... I'm sorry if I haven't responded to something that you wrote or if I'm not on here as much...I haven't really been in a lost cherry mood... so, an update, California was a lot of fun...I'm really happy that I sucked it up and went out to see Justin, he's always a good friend, a pro at cheering me up, getting my mind of things and reminding me that I rock and people are stupid. I got some not so great news when I got of the plane coming home though. My great grandpa died...there was a viewing last wednesday...which sucked because I didn't know if was a viewing until I got there. For those you that don't know what a viewing is, it's when they lay the body out so that you can see it one last time before they are cremated. I'm not a big fan of viewings. It makes me really upset to see someone that I had great memories of alive, dead. It becomes the last thing I remember, and I hate that. And I got sucked into going to one. The worst part it, I haven't got all my crying out.

12/21/06 I unpacked pictures today - Chinese watercolors and nineteenth century Japanese block prints by the masters (Kunichika, Utamaro, Toyokuni) - works that have been entrusted to me for safekeeping until I hand them down to the next generations of guardians. My father’s art – a Brueghel influenced oil that he created at the age of fifteen, the portrait of his mother’s dog, the clown he was painting in college when he met my mother. His paintings from North Carolina in the late forties, his Ohio paintings through the fifties, his more recent works from California - I remember watching him give birth to many of them. My Mother
Ok my mom goes out of town for work and she is goin to be gone for a few days. So her being the "pack rat, dont clean anythin" person, and me being "OCD" i get to started on cleaning the min she leaves. I clean the kitchen, livin room, and dining room. I cleaned for 7-8 hours that day, and bought a mop, and some cleaning stuff, and mop the floors and etc. Well the kitchen is sooooo clean ya can eat off the counters now. Work Update...
well i finally got the results of my test score.. did i pass.. HELL YES!!!!!!!! with a score of 92... go me go me... i am soooooooooo happy... everyone is different and i know that.. some can't comprehend everything like others can... i guess some people are better at it all then others.. cause out of the 4 of us that went 2 passed and 2 failed..... and the one that failed the worst is acutally the youngest of us all... makes ya wonder.. but oh well.. its all good.. i passed and that is what matters... much love all

The Besom
The Witches broom - commonly known as the besom -is the calling card of a Witch. Many Witches keep a besom on the front porch of their house as a powerful protection device and to let other Witches know who they are. Others keep a besom just inside of the front door of the house. The besom can be used interchangeably with the wand in Circle. It really shines during the Imbolc Ritual when we sweep away the old (winter) to make room for the new (spring). The besom, like most other tools of the Craft, is easy to make. You can make yours as plain or fancy as you like. All you need is a good straight tree branch for a handle and a bundle of herb branches to tie on one end. If you want something special, visit your local arts and crafts store. They usually offer a variety of scented brooms and keep heather twigs in stock. When consecrating your besom, use the same ritual as for the wand. It should go without saying that the besom is never used to sweep the floor or anything physical.

GOD DAMN SNOW I freakn hate the snow and we got about 8 inches last night on top of the ice that was finally melting the week before this... Taking A Step Further
Now that I'm months away from graduating from college, I need to think about taking another step further. If it was my choice, I would decided whether or not to actually move out of my parents house and find a new place, either on my own or with someone that I can trust and depend on. I Was In A Tornado Yesterday!
I had an experience yesterday that was amazing, scary, and truly one in a billion for the San Francisco Bay area. I was in the middle of an actual tornado. I don’t mean high winds or a big dust devil - a true tornado. Yep, in Gilroy, California, thirty miles South of San Jose, and I’m one of only four people who were hit by it. I was in a rented camper trailer with my son and two others. We were providing volunteer radio communications for a large 100-mile bicycling event. A small tornado touched down on top of us, went a few hundred feet, and then apparently dissipated. It destroyed the awning on our trailer and ripped apart a nearby tree. A witness not far away said he saw the funnel cloud. Right now I’m trying to imagine taking the trailer back tomorrow and telling them it was “tornado damage”! Yeah, right! Changes Of Life - So Hard!
Divorce after 12 1/2 years doesnt come easily no matter how much you want it. I miss my girls..we share them equally and this has been the hardest time of my life ever! They are with their dad during the week for school since I was the one that had to move out since I was the one that wanted the divorce. About My Son!!!!!!
As alot of you already know my son needs a kidney to live...We have been working on this for a long time as it is a very rare decease and the surgery has not been preformed befor on some one with his illness. Witness Dream.
Last nights dream was.... interesting. I was witness to a murder, the only witness I think. I was put into a witness portection program. I couldn't remember many details of the murder which didn't look great on my part. I think they may have partially thought that I killed the girl. Chris Benoit's father Michael appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning and shed new light on his son's final days. Tests of Chris Benoit's brain tissue revealed that Chris had severe brain damage. The level of brain damage Chris had was equivalent to an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient - and similar to three NFL players who committed suicide. Good And Bad News!
The good news: I got through another chemotherapy treatment and am resting (somewhat) comfortably at home. Feeling quite lethargic, but I am holding my own (as I have been accustomed to doing throughout my life). Now the bad news: The treatments I have been receiving for the past few weeks have been almost ineffective to this point. We are trying other different cocktails hoping there is one that will be effective. Otherwise, the inevitable will happen. Just keep your fingers crossed we find the right one and soon! Wait until you read this from one of our customers! “I have personally tested the FFi MPG-CAPS TM for the past 2 months. I have always been a meticulous record keeper in relation to my gas mileage. I drive a 1996 Lincoln Town Car with 157,000 miles. Before using the FFi MPG-CAPS TM I was getting a consistent 18mpg. Well its been like ages since i posted a blog. But since it is New Years Eve, the last day of 2007, i thought Id say alittle something. My year was pretty good, but I had my up and downs too. Beginning Of The Battle
Anyone who knows me knows my kids mean everything to me. This includes my daughters who at this time live with my ex. Our divorce decree states my girls come back to my care starting Summer 2008. Super Superbowl
I dont think anything can surpass lat years game. We had been in the hosp with cj from jan.4th thru feb 2nd. All he wanted was to come home and see the superbowl, his team the Colts had finally made it to the big game. Well on this day last year he got his wish and they let us bring him home, with the promise we had to be back up to the hosp everyday the next week for radiation treatments. Ok many people tend to end up getting emails that have hidden stuff. Most times it has hidden adware. Yeah so I have been sick for almost 2 months. Just getting to the end of it where I have just a slight cough. Where I've Been, Why Im Unreachable
1st--Where I've Been Aug 7-10- The Gathering... My first ever. Totally awesome. Sad I missed ICP's seminar tho. coulda got J's solo album... like an original one rather than burning it, of course its just a burned cd anyway. 2 of my friends got it tho. Went to the autograph tent to see twiztid & waited 5 hrs just for them to leae rite before i got to the front. So i got to talk to abk & icp instead. the next day i waite another 5 hrs, but got to see blaze & twiztid. talked to em for a minute, then as i walked off realized Madrox had forgotten to sign my shirt! lol. Went back but was told I'd have to get back in line, in which case icp would be back by the time i got to the front again. lol. thought it was kinda funny. All the shows were pretty cool. wasnt there for Andrew W.K. tho, apparently he was kicked off stage for being a douche. Stood front row for Twiztid & ICP. Both awesome shows... When I went to drive home I was SOAKED in Faygo... lol. Also took a helicopter ride whil

i just got home from a long stay in three diferent hospitals . i started to get very sick and ended up have two opps. on my lungs just to save my life . my right lung had two holes ,one at the top the size of a dollar and one at the bottom the size of my fist . had a colapsed luge with a chest tube over 12 inches long to help me breath and was in danger of my hart colapsing as well. i am in lots of pain and not sleeping well,but i do feel the docs. did a great job putting me back together . i have been given a new chance to live and will make the best of every day i have left. may Buddha bless and keep me in his heart. i truly found out how strong i am ,it is mind blowing what you can handle when you at deaths door.

I swear there are some days it's a good thing that prison food does not appeal to my palette. Otherwise, some people would be finding themselves dead. I don't know where this attitude of "I have to be in front of you, but I don't want to go faster than you" comes from, but it annoys me to the point of violence. Is this a national phenomenon? Let me explain the symptoms: Someone flies like a bat out of hell to get in front of you, then lets off the gas and slows to 5 mph slower than you were going Someone gets in the left hand lane, and just sits there, barely doing the speed limit. At a street corner, someone walks up to the don't walk sign, stopping right in front of you, where you were going to cross in the other direction. What is with these people? Not only are they discourteous, but they are stupid, you are going to be rude to me, and then show me your back? You have given me motivation, and opportunity to smack the back of your head so hard your eyes pop out.
