When Is It Time To Stand Up?
I just read a blog from a friend who had some very good points in it, and I just wanted to throw my measly 2 cents in on the subject. The subject was basically about racism, and me being a frequent victim of racist or bigoted rhetoric, I feel I have a little insight on the subject. Now dealing with any ism out there, it's important to realize that most of the ideology behind isms is mostly ignorant or stereotypical bullshit. And yes, there was a day when I reacted wildly and angrily at any hint or sign of racism or prejudice aimed at me. But nowadays, I realize two things. One, racism is prejudice upon race multiplied by power. It had started off that I had seen on a commercial for World Vision that you can buy someone in a poor country something they need as a gift for someone in your family. Ice Sculpting - Not Here In Austin!!
Got this in an email today. Hospitals Suck
Well its obvious mom was doing very bad this month, Friday she got very bad off and it was crazy, i had to stay by her most the night and Saturday They put my mom Rockdale hospital. Alright, so I just returned back from my weekend trip to visit some out of town friends. It was good times seeing a lot of them again and getting trashed and doing some of the stupid shit we used to do when we were still in high school. I know I said I would take pics of stuff but we just all kinda forgot about it so I apologize. My mother went through years of rebelous kids, as do all mothers at some point or another. She tried to teach me right from wrong, but as a teenager I did not listen right then and there. I did however grow up to learn that my mother was so right more times than not. I have become a mother myself and made my own mistakes. Today Was Kinda Rough

Been working with Jenny fixing up the site, Jenny is originally from Taiwan and has been living in New York for years, anyway Jenny told me she was looking for contacts in Ghana, she has a lot of corporate contacts and a very good technology background. Ok so here it is......this is my luck As most of you know my pit bull Liberty was poisoned in December and died 10 days before christmas! Now this past Friday a friend comes to my door and my two rotties go running to the door. My female Sasha was clumsy and took out Choppers front leg. Needless to say it is broke. We had xrays on Saturday and the vet proceeded to tell me that it is a strong bone and should have never broke the way it did. From the look on the xrays she believes he has cancer thru his bones. I find out tomorrow the 20th of February by a specialist if he has it or not. For all those of you who read this please say a little prayer for him and me cause if something has to happen with him now I will definately end up on 5P! The psych ward in our hospital for those of you who don't know what 5P is!

Almost Moving Day
I went and bought my new Washer and Dryer today. I stepped up from the model that I was interested in. That is because of a neat feature that allows you to move the control panel on the dryer from the top to the bottom. It makes it a lot easier for shorter people to use the dryer. They still have to get clothes into it, but now they don't have to get a small ladder to see the controls.Did you know that it would have cost me $200 more if I went with a nice gray color, called titanium, than with white? WTF? I don't think having a nicer color is worth $200 to me. Especially if it is in a closet, like mine will be right now. Anyways, they are nice units...and highly rated. I've been going on 4, maybe 5 hrs sleep a night for the past 3 nights and I feel ready to crash. I don't know whats coming up. I've given up on seeing anyone down in the neighbourhood, but I wish I had closure. I feel terrible, I don't know why, sometimes I'll snap if someone pushes me too close or too much just like last week at the grocery store. I'm still job hunting, writting and everything else. A few weeks ago my son in law was driving taxi one eve when a young man entered his life as a new fare. He asked to be taken to a shelter for the homeless. What A Day/week/month

Treatments
I guess I should just start at the beginning, for those of you who don't know. I was told 3 weeks ago I have both cervical and ovarian cancer.. I have been doing treatment for the past three weeks, but today was my first chemo treatment. Man did it suck (not that is was going to be fun).I'm not doing too bad so far.. but tomorrow might be a different story.When does it all end? I lost my mother to this crap a year and a half ago and than six months later i lost my father to a heart attack and now this. My Gripe: Some People In My Cam Chat!

When you are a mother and fell the start of a new life inside you. This week I've been blasted many times by many friends to read a blog crying for help. The choice of course is to help or to ignore the blog. Whats For Dinner Tonight Kidd-o's
Asian Beef & Vegetable Stir-Fry 1 1/4 pounds boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1-inch thick 4 cups assorted fresh vegetables, such as sugar snap peas, broccoli florets, bell pepper strips and shredded carrot 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup prepared stir-fry sauce, preferably sesame-ginger flavor 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper 3 cups hot cooked rice 2 tablespoons unsalted dry-roasted peanuts (optional) 1. Cut beef steak lengthwise in half, then crosswise into 1/4-inch thick strips. 2. Combine vegetables and 3 tablespoons water in large nonstick skillet. Cover and cook over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove and drain. 3. Heat same pan over medium-high heat until hot. Add 1/2 of beef and 1/2 of garlic; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes or until outside surface of beef is no longer pink. Remove. Repeat with remaining beef and garlic. 4. Return all beef and vegetables to pan. Add stir-fry sauce and red pepper; heat through. Spoon over rice.

About Me?
Why do people give a pysical description of themselves in " about me " sections? They have pictures of themselves, what use is it to read that? Not only that, but then sometimes they don't have anything esle there. That's fine and all, and maybe even smarter and safer not to tell a whole bunch of strangers about yourself. Why not just leave it blank? Or put Something that says you don't feel like exposing yourself to the world, becausae it might not be safe? How much about you does a physical description give anyway? I'm weird I guess, but I never even thought about writing about what I look lik on a page where there's a bunch of pictures of me.

Chapter 3
Well, the trip north was long. Gawd it was long! Full of delays, but that made our meeting all the sweeter. I stepped off the train in Eugene, Oregon into a rain storm. Grace informed me that this was normal. I like the rain, but come on!!! It is very beautiful up there. I love green and it was soooo green. She showed me the sites, both of them. We sang karaoke in a Red neck bar. Surprisingly, they loved me and my selections of songs. Elvis went over big there. Finding some one who you have so much in common with is rare, and I am blessed to find her. It was hard to leave, but I have a job and a daughter to tend to. She wants to come see me next. i got up early in the morning to take my cuzzin to his class, but we had to make a stop to get gas for the car. so we got gas and im driven 35mph on a 40mph street when this mexican waits till im about 5 feet away from his car too speed off into to the street causing my to fly off the road into a dirt path,and now my damn car wont start up anymore.
