My Ex
Ok I'm not normally one to bitch but I have to get this out in the open and to see if I get any feed back. So please be brutally honest here. A New Day
Well, I must apologize to my friends for being away for awhile. A lot of changes have happened to me. First, I moved from my house into an apartment not too far from the house. I wanted to keep my children in the same schools. I moved because I could no longer afford the house. I'm fine with it. It wasn't easy for a single mom of three to pay for a house, but I did it for almost three years. I like the new apartment. It has space, with exception to my closet (I really miss it!) lol. Second, I had surgery on my right hand on 2/15. I had a arthritic bone in my right thumb and I had it removed. I'm still in recovery but I'll be fine. It's going to take a minute to work out the stiffness and soreness. I return to work Monday. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. lol And third, my birthday is in 10 days. I've thought of not doing anything but i deserve to celebrate something. When I moved into my house three years ago, it was a week before my birthday.

Today Snoopz Went To......
Well today I went to the Skintech tattoo convention at the Picadilly Hotel in Manchester. Thought I would go along on the train with the my kids. Thoughts About Baby
Here are the thoughts that are going through my head right now. The doctors want to run an amniocentesis on the baby nex thursay. i let them and the babys lungs are developed enough then they will induce me. but the problem with that is that day is my little brothers birthday. but if the lungs arent mature enough yet then they will wait one week and hen induce me. i am not sure what i should do because i thought it would be better to wait till the due date to have this baby so more things will be ready. still not sure what i am going to do though.

My Job
For my job I travel all over Fl, and I've been to Buffalo and New Orleans, to do what I do. The accident happened just over 4 yrs ago. Jan. 3, 2003. I can still feel the impact of hitting the tree to this day. The closest that I could compare it to would be to drive your car into a steel barrier at 75 mph. I was treated for severe whiplash and hematomas, and given pain meds and muscle relaxers and told my injuries were deep, and would take time to heal, before I was sent on my way. As the months passed, I progressively got worse and worse. I attemepted many times to go to the Doctor, but the minute you spoke of a car accident, they would say, we don\'t treat car accident patients. WHAT????? What kind of a Doctor are you? Cooking With Heather
So, I'm lame and I do this thing called "Cooking with Heather". I have some pretty interesting pictures of things I've cooked in the past. I get really creative. Tonight I'm making.. Mexican queso and salse with torilla strips. Jumbo pasta stuffed with mexican angus beef, monteray and sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and chives. Chicken fajita stacks which are corn tostadas layered with fajita chicken strips, refried beans, cheese and salsa. Finishing off with a homemade banana cream pie shake! Learning New Things Makes Me Tired
Whenever I get new software, or a new book that I'm really interested in (the last one I got was http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/books_be "Beautiful Evidence" by Edward Tufte), I start reading and in about one half hour I get really really tired and fall asleep. This seems to happen everytime. When I wake up I remember everything I read, and even if I misunderstood it, it's like it's locked in my mind forever--because if I DID misunderstand it, I have problems not remembering it incorrectly from that point on. The most recent software I bought was an upgrade from Photoshop 7.0 to Photoshop CS3 Extended. Everytime I start to experiment with the new stuff, I get really exhausted. I wonder if this happens to anyone else; is this phenomonon known or studied, I wonder.

Home From The Rally
Well we made it home from the bike rally this weekend, it was officially our first rally of the season. Yeah we are a little lacking but with hubby's crazy work schedule and all it has made it difficult this year. This rally is kind of a special one for us, it was the first rally that we ever went to together, however it was the one that the hold in the fall not the spring rally. None the less it always makes for a good time. Post Surgery
Thank all of you beautiful people for your thoughts and prayers. A little over a month ago I was in New Jersey and got assaulted...busted my face about 25 times. A day and a half in the local hospital and two more in a motel room...I drove back to Texas with just half of an eye. Couldnt see shit. Over the next few weeks it seemed as if my eyes were getting better. About two weeks ago I developed a huge black spot covering my vision in my left eye. Rushed to the emergency room to learn that I have a detached retina and went straight in for emergency surgery. They removed the lens from my eye and inserted a gas ball inside to hold my eye together so maybe it will heal. I am left eye blind for the next two months (possibly permanently). I thought they were going to have to do surgery on my right eye, but found out today they aren't...thank God! Just need a corrective lens for it. Back From Indiana
Hey All... Just thought I'd better pop in and let you know we made it back from our rush trip back to Indy on Friday. We got in very early, about 3am on Tues...just a few hours of rest, and then to work today. I felt like death warmed over when I got up, after the weekend we had. I am happy to say though that your prayers were much appreciated, and answered. Lee's mom didn't have a stroke, but her disorientation, and some dementia problems, turned out to be reaction to the combinations of some meds she was taking. She also had a severe infection from the stint that was put in her kidney, so that had to be redone. She was one very sick woman. But, she is doing much better, and the antibiotics are doing there job on the infection, so I have a feeling she'll be out of the hospital by the end of the week, if she continues to improved. With her health the way it is, she can't do much of what needs to be done in the way of unpacking and trying to get moved in to her new place.

My Kids
So I have 2 kids. Logan and Briawna. They are 9 months and 20 days. Went for their check up this week and everything was good. I love my kids and they are the world to me. It just blows my mind to sit and think how much my life has changed in the last year and a half. Got pregnant, bought a house, had the twins, and now their first birthday is around the corner. It's as if it's not even real. Anyone else know how I feel? Well yeah.. just been thinking about my kids a lot lately... because they are truly the only thing going for me in my life these days. Hawkin's Inferno
As most of you will know, I despise Justin Hawkins, the ex lead "singer" of The Darkness. Now what I do for fun is edit lyrics to songs so they involve him getting hurt, killed etc etc. Those who have me on msn messenger would see these as my name. on monday the 18th of june in charleston south carolina the worst thing i have ever had to deal with happened. 9 of my best freinds were killed in the line of duty while they were searching a large building and fighting fire. they all were highly skilled guys and i loved them all. these guys didnt work here for the pay becuase it sucks ass, they worked here becuase they lovedto help anyone. it didnt matter if you were poor or rich, smart or dumb, crack head or not you got the highest quality of care no matter what. i ask that all members of ct stop and read this and show some love one way or another becuase any of you could have been one of the ones that received help from one of these 9 guys. i was finnaly able to get some sleep last night, it was the first night i have slept since monday. no one in my station was able to sleep until last night and this has been one hell of a week. the help and support from the citizens of charleston and everywhere in the united states and everywhere

Mom's Birthday
Today June 30th 2007 is my mothers 75th birthday. The day was not as elaborate as I had hoped, but nice just the same. I grabbed my 2 oldest grandson's Treston and Bryce, and we picked up fried chicken and something to drink and whipped topping for the strawberry short cake she had planned. The kids were of course very bored. But they brightened up when the ground hog under the neighbors shed came out to eat. I may live in a city, but the local fauna doesn't care. We had fun reliving the opossum incident of 2 yrs ago. I gave my folks a peach tree about 12 years ago. It has reached it's peak of production. Meaning several bushels of ground fall. Now that year we had already picked 20 bushels off the tree with at least 10 bushels in the garbage. I've decided that I'm through with caring about people and letting someone in. Every time I do I get hurt and well..I'm just done. Ramblings For/of The Mind.
It was a great weekend. I didn't get to do what I wanted which was to go to aa festival in Boise, ID. I did however get to relax and get some much needed work done. This was the first weekend in a long time that my husband didn't want to go to Twin every day. I got to see my daughter and granddaughter some on Sunday and that was great. It was one of the best times I have had with them for awhile. No smart ass comments from the teenager and no uptight moments with my kid. I think they are both at a time in their lives where I have to be careful with what i say or it is either taken wrong or I stick my foot in my mouth. I seem to do this with a lot of people lately. Ozzy Osbourne Undergoes Surgery To Remove Blood Clot
From Colorado's 9NEWS: 9NEWS Entertainment Reporter Kirk Montgomery has confirmed singer Ozzy Osbourne had surgery at Rose Medical Center Saturday night. The 59-year-old was in town for Ozzfest 2007, which took place at Coors Amphitheatre on Saturday. Kirk reports that Osbourne was complaining of leg pain for most of the day. After the show, Osbourne was taken to Rose where he underwent surgery on his leg for a blood clot. Man you just have to love summer. This year has been terrific down south, as far as summers go, it's been quite mild. The other nice thing is that if ya go to the park the heat usually keeps the families inside. If you throw out a blanket in the shade you can enjoy the summer breezes, the squirrels chattering in the trees, and the smell of fresh cut grass filling the air. When I called her to see if she felt like just enjoying a light picnic she jumped at the chance. We haven't really spent time together lately and I missed her. I used business principle #7...K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid. I threw a cutting board, cheese, some fruit, and two bottles of wine along with a blanket into my backpack and off I went. The people I admire most are those that are everyday heroes. The people that put their very lives at risk everyday not because they have to but because its just the type of person they are. People like those in the military forces,(whether they're fighting in Iraq and/or Afghanstan, or on a base overseas, or a ship at sea, or here in the United States of America, or Retired Vets) they truly deserve our thanks and admiration for all of the things they do, will do, or have done not only for us and our country but for the countless others they have helped through they're bravery and courage.
