I had to go to the er last night because I have a huge swelling on the base of my neck the size of a grapefruit. Worried I had a disc injury or something to that effect I went and got the er to check it out. After many blood tests, a ct scan and complete medical history I have been diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome. This was caused by all the steroids I have had to take to control my Chron's. Though my Dr. says my blood work up shows I should be able to go higher on the steroid dose it seems my body has a different opinion. Quite frankly I am scared. I am being weaned off the steroids but because of how high my dose was it's going to be a slow process. Untill then I will continue to look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. All I need is my bell. What A Year
will this year is about to come to the end and it wasnt my year im glad its about over since its not been my best. heres how mine went. found out in Nov last year i had colon cancer and had emergerncy sugery to remove an 13" tumor but be4 it was caught (no thinks to military doctors) it spread to my rectum,liver and lungs. then i started chemo therpy in dec of last year was doing that for about four months then i came down very sick went back in the hospitqal for a infection on my rectum was in for about 13 day then 2 months later back in for the same reason was in another 11 days then 3 months later back in for the same problem ( the 3rd time) was in 14 days and almost died during this stay i had a fever of 104 for a couple of days heart rate went over 150 they had to put me in a straigh jacket cause i went crazy pulling iv's frommy body then about a month or so i went back in the hospital 2 hav surgery to clean my rectum out but they couldnt clean it so they remove it completely so

A Note For My Friends
Just thought I'd let you all know that, starting tomorrow (Monday the 13th) and running for the next 11 weeks (through Nov 22) I'm going to be taking a class that will hopefully help position me to get a better job (so I can have a little bit more money to waste on Fubar! LOL!). I point this out because I honestly don't know how much this will cut into the free time I have for Fubar. All I know at the moment is that, at the very least, I'll be out the 3 hours the class meets on Mondays and Thursdays, plus an hour driving time. I don't know how much time I'll need to spend studying, but I will put studying over Fubar. So... The NFL season started the other day, on September 9th. To celebrate the return of football, the fine folks at the company I work for held a drawing in the cafeteria. On September 8th, I bought my lunch, filled out the ticket with my name and phone number, and forgot all about it. When I came home from work on Monday night, my son was excited. He tells me that someone from work called, and said that I won a jet pack! What was actually said was that I had won a Jets hat. He was a little disappointed when I came home Tuesday with this: I too, was just a little disappointed that I couldn't come flying home, beating out all the traffic by soaring over them, but it is a pretty nice hat. :)

I am finally, FINALLY pretty much back to normal. My hcg (pregnancy hormone) level is now at 1 and anything under 5 can be considered normal. This is TRULY a happy day! A Thanksgiving Story........
This Thanksgiving is going to be one of the most memorable for me, ever. Back in May, I received a phone call from my dad that he was taking my mom to the emergency room, she was throwing up and was unable to eat (had not eaten well for days, actually). As we sat a while, I noticed that she was actually throwing up blood (I know, gross huh?) After being in the hospital a few days, we found out that mom's cancer was out of remission for the 4th time. She had alrady survived breast, cervical and uterine cancer along with lymphoma. This time, she had stomach cancer and was diagnosed late in stage 4. At that time, her prognosis was only a life expectancy of about 3-5 weeks according to the doctors. She had also contracted a blood infection from the feeding liquid they were giving her through her IV's. Things did not look good at all. My dad and I began taking turns staying with her at night, he'd stay one and I'd stay the next while my Aunt took the day "shift". Mom didn'

Well not sure how many of you stop by and look at my pics.. I have decided to change up my image a bit.. So yesterday (well, tuesday) a new Scratch off lottery ticket was released here. I had spoken with my parents and together we were going to buy a whole roll. So last saturday I saw my mom and she gave me their half of the money. The guy who was going to sell me the tickets got them a day early, so I was able to get them tuesday instead of wednesday. So we had made plans for me to catch a ride over near where my mom works. She picked me up and took me back to their house. When we got there, my dad was in a whatever type mood, and my mom asked when he wanted to scratch them off and he was like "let's go on." So we did, and got back 2/3s of what was spent. So my dad wanted to reinvest their half of the money. My mom and I went to a nearby gas station and traded back the tickets that had won. I am kinda hurting for money right now, so I got money back for my half, while they got more tickets. We took the second group of tickets back and scratched them off. Well, i got a phone call last week from one of my brothers, telling me my other brother was in the hospital. its been wicked stressful worrying about him. he has cancer. and they gave me 6 months. he ad a surgery to remove it. But they didn't get all of it and it spread. now this kind of bums me out. they live in a different state. i have seen either of them for 10 years. we lost contact for awhile, and just recently started getting back in contact and getting to know each other. and i feel like i am being selfish for wishing there was more time to get to know him better. it sucks that stuff like this happens to such good people. he has 3 kids and they are really sad and that is understandable. i just wish there was something i could do . i hate that someone who i just started to get to know again and getting close to is going to die. i know most people will say make the best out of the time you have with them now, and i intend to . Update 7/25/2011
First, let me say once again how utterly amazed I am by all the love and concern my family and friends have shown me throughout this ordeal. I am completely overwhelmed and wish to express my heartfelt and sincere gratitude to each and every one of you. You have all played a role in my recovery process and from the bottom of my heart I thank you. Now, I have been home for 5 days, so I thought maybe it would be a good time for a little update on my progress. It is mind-boggling that so many other "ailments" can be fixed by getting your back, back, so to speak. Things that would mean very little to you in your normal day-to-day life have literally astounded me over these past few days. For instance, I can now cross my legs. I haven't been able to do that for years. I could always reach down and grab my ankle and pull it up over my knee, but now I can just cross my legs... sure makes changing socks easier. Well as I noted on my last blog, I do suffer from nerve damage around my spinal cord. Unfortunately when a piece of my spine moved out of place it was actually pinching my spinal cord almost in half & this was not detected for over a year. I do live in constant severe pain all day everyday! I'm on several medications for the pain, the damaged nerves, & the not sleeping. I'm not able to work due to my medical condition. I am a single mother of 2 boys. It has been told to me that in a few years I could end up in a wheel chair. I do my best to handle one day at a time. I try to make the best out of my life. I do everything I can for my kids whether the pain is severe or not at the time. My kids come first!!!!! I would like to level up. I've been on this level for quite some now. Just a little tid bit of info as to why we have not been around. It seems my mother has had a heart attack while taken her blind dog out to go to potty. In the process she fell down 13 steps an busted her knee cap all to shit. So I will be gone for a few months. I will pop in off an on to keep ya all posted. And my husband as well. How To Create A Morph
This blog is on how to create your own morph. You will need at a minim a morphing program like FantaMorph. I also like to have a photo editing program to edit the pix prior to trying to morph it. I like to use Adobe Photoshop CS2 to do my editing. These are not free software, you can get some copies or trial versions but be careful if you try to get a unlicensed copy of them you may be viruses and such. Okay, Step 1 is to get your 2 pix that you want to use. I prefer to use the largest pix you can as to get a better quality in the end of the project. I use the pix of the person that I am morphing. (example of person pix) Once I have them I will basically cut them out of the pix and remove all the background. I then apply a new background with a solid color. I prefer to use black due to CT is all black and it seems to match the pages better and the morph runs smoother. Once you apply the new background you will need to go around the edge of the person to blur it

Our Christmas Tree
So the story behind the Tree...I moved in May 2007. The place I am in is SO small. a close friend of mine lived behind me. She offered to store my Christmas Things in her attic until December 2007. That was nice right? Unfortunate turn of events....She left her Husband 11-30-07. My Christmas Angel plus everything else is now captive in a mans attic I really do not care for..lol (she is fine believe me!!) We traveled the next day and it made taking down our Christmas mess a lot easier this year. I know I got some poor comments on the pic of our tree this year but we did our best. Whenever the holidays arrive I always find myself reflecting on the past year. Most of you know me and know that I am a positive person. It has been 9 years today since my best friend Greg was murdered. He was my best friend, my dogshow trainer and more of a brrother to me than my own brother. Greg was a great person,showed love to everyone especially his dogs. This wonderful man gave me ny first pekingese dog to train for showing . He took me under his wing and taught me all he knew.Since he has been gone i no longer show dogs. This man cheered me on when noone else would told what i did wrong if i had a bad day showing . This has been an interesting year with the economic whirlwind with people trying to hang into their jobs and keep their finances afloat. I had the enduring task of many physical therapy sessions resulting from a car hitting me last Thanksgiving while yielding to oncoming emerging emergency vehicles off Loop 360. Was in the physical and water therapy until October and will begin again as soon as the months warm up to get into the pool again. Hopefully, it will warm up soon. While I it was a challenge to do during the day and work on the overnight shifts at night, I am grateful that my range of arm movement is beginning to slowly come back around (estimation is for another year to be fully recovered).I am so grateful for family and friends who kept encouraging me throughout the year. I need to vent; Ive been going to school for a month now, and I am reaching phase 3- which means I should probably end up having my GED or my Permit for my CDL, which I don't have either. I go to school before class starts, about 745 each morning, and Im in the "yard" doing pre trip inspections, drop and hook, and straight line backing.(Which Ive basically learned how to do all of this in a few weeks). anyways I come in today, and I get in the trucks, and the instuctor comes and he talks too me and says the director wants to see me in his office, so he tells me to get my permit by Monday; well I was upset, and I started crying, because this IS the most important thing to me; and I said later to my class, and I left. They also said if i can take the cdl permit test at the dmv before or on monday and pass, i can come back, But if not, Ill have to re-enroll. I still haven't told my mom. ugh.

A coworker took me out to lunch yesterday, quite stoked to turn me on to a hidden discovery tucked away in downtown. This is one of the graces of getting older, you get really excited about finding good cuisine, lol. So we pull to this quaint lil french bakery, not much to look at, but with genuine motherland chefs and product. I had never had pastrami like this before, my exposure being limited to the general storebought pressed crap laced with the lil white fat nuggets, bleh... These guys even made their own mustard, which had a dijon pungency mixed a bit of vinegar and a slight basalmic tinge. Was fun taking it apart in my head, and it was obviously the thing that really set the meat off, one constantly complimenting the other. When I was just a boy about the age of 7 or 8 When me and 2 of my male cousins started spending the weekends over at my grandfather's cottage. I recently had someone hurt my feelings..then act like a child instead of an adult. They were rude and basically attacked me instead of talking to me about what was wrong. I am dissapointed in their behavior. The final reaction was them "Blocking" me and avoiding any confrontation. I discussed this with someone I love dearly..they put all of this bullshit in a nutshell: On the internet, and Fubar in particular, there are people who hide behind their keyboards.
