Life Lesson
Today I learned of a gentleman who recently passed away. He was a taxi driver, and, although I did not know him on a personal level, I have been in his taxi several times. He was always a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, always smiling and joking around. And he, although was simply a taxi driver, went about his business as though he was earning six figures. (There are no insignificant jobs). He treated his passengers with the utmost respect and dignity, and was simply a class act. He decided he was going to make changes in life for his family, as well as himself. He underwent a gastro-intestinal bypass surgery, which was successful, and was exercising and eating the appropriate foods, and was well on his way to a new and healthier life. I do not know the actual cause of death, but my point is to simply remind you how short life really is. Absolutely no one is promised tomorrow. Live life well, take nothing for granted, and above all else....LOVE!

It Can Take A Toll
Many of you ask what happened to my hand. September 29th of last year i cut my wrist and had to have surgery. It took two doctors and 5 hours to put my hand back together. It will never work normal and I lost my whole life over it. Why? you ask, well I am still trying to figure out where I lost myself enough for this to happen. I have always been a strong person, so this is a confusion to me. I allowed people to run me down and stress took a toll on me that it just happened. I still see that night over and over in my head. That night I lost my whole life and everyone I ever cared about. A lot of it had to do with a guy named Todd Dreka. This is the guy that was man of my dreams or so I thought. But he fucked up my hrad mentally by telling me constantly I was whitetrash and no one would want me then tell me he loved me then hit me or throw me down stairs. I finally got away but not before he managed to ruin my whole life. I have since been trying to get it back together with no blue sky

Fubar Connect
Fubar Connect. I noticed this today when I signed in, I can't really say how long it has been there, but it is new and I like it. For the menu-ally challenged, this can be located in the thin menu box on the right hand side under "Connect." Click it and you get a menu option. Hit the green button and it will take you to a list of pages with big pictures that link to peoples' profiles. My FAVORITE part about this is the big blue phototag on the screen that says "Has Salute!" And this cannot be bastardized for rates and points like other things are. Which I also like and is usually the downfall of other attempts at this made before. So it's something new. You don't need to be mobile to use it either. Just figured I would share. I Can Not Even Cry...
So it’s official my external hard disk where all my photos are is broken and the only way to get them back will be a data recovery I can not afford so the work of the last six years is… gone. I just finished the shop I created for posters and postcards made from the photos I took but now I have no versions that are good enough to be actually printed so all the work in vain. Shepherd's Pie ?
Today's Shepherd's Pie has the following ingredients in it.... 3 lbs ground beef 5 to 7.5 ozs grated amrican and motarela cheeses (mixed) 1 can corn 8 red potatoes cut up into quarters (with skin on) 1 can garlic and tomatoes 1 jar of sliced mushrooms 1/2 head iceburg lettuce 1/2 sweet onion approx. 1.5 pounds smashed potatoes lots of Mrs. Dash's Garlic and Herb seasonings 1.5 cup red and green gum drops 2 cups plane M&Ms (any colors) 1 can pumkin pie mix For those who don't know, shepherds pie can be made up from most anything you have on hand...but key to it is layering meat - pie mix - veggies - smashed potatoes - candy with american and motarela cheezes on top of it all. What To Join A Club?
I was just paying by debts off for my Happy Hour Giveaway (50 Happy Hour 11's) To the last two remaining participants of my give away ... When it occurred to me: Why don't I start a group of friends to help each other for a few days? It's Pouring
As many of your know, the man I love is ill. He is so courageous and wonderful. He is the bravest Man I ever met in my life. Always on my mind and I will love him forever... Well, recently things have been happening. A mutual friend was killed about 2 weeks ago when he was mugged and a close friend of mine passed away from Lung Cancer on Monday. Today I went to Barbaras Wake and Service. It was beautiful. A few of us Women were kind of like "The Goonies". Stood together forever. One of our Women Denise was there today. Her Husband Bill passed away last night. He had been suffering for a long time with Cancer. I might go away tonight to my friends house to get away and clear my head. I know I need some hugs. As one of the Women of my group I know we will be able to laugh and cry... Thank you everyone for always being true to me and being friends. Taco Bell = Food Poisoning
I went out on the first with some friends and those SOB's convinced me to have some Taco Bell so I gave in and ordered. Now I do like the occasional Taco now mind you but little did I know what this little Fourth Meal had in store for me. To save the nasty details lets just say I lost about 11 lbs and was dehydrated, 48 hrs bed rest. TO CURE FLU/FOOD POISONING: Pedialyte ( 2 liters)- I drank it as a wrestler and a football player, it is the best. 12pk Sprite- It is cold and soothing on your stomach Jello w/bannannas- The key thing is electrolytes and having a small amount of fiber put back into your system to get the train on the tracks again. Plus bannannas are easy to chew and swallow. Oh and suck it up your going to puke (most likely twice) so it was the most painful & delightful feeling you get from this. It stinks your going to have to eat and drink just to get it out of your system. After the second time it should be all up hill from there. After 2 days @ 100% - :

3-d Ultra Sound
Today, June 30th, 2008. At 5:30pm I went for my 3-D ultra sound of my unborn baby girl Nevaeh...Was AWESOME...Once inna lifetime kinda experience. :) Was so beautiful...I heard her heart beat, Again...Was soooo STRONG...And I got to see a 3-D video of her as well...Got to see her smile (Precious)...Movin around in my tummy, All kinds of neat stuff... But we couldn`t really get a great head shot of her cos she was playin shy LOL She always had her hands over her face...LOL...Too cute!

FYI, for those that might want to know, I am without my laptop. This comes to you from the teens computer - I usually have to engage in a fight to the death to use this thing, lol. Sunday ... The Day After Going To The Strip Club

Worry
Why do I worry what others think it never fails to take me to the brink, Sometimes it's terribly hard to tell where I've been, where I fell, Never failing to come up inferior because I think they're so much better. A Thank You To All
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to all.. Yeah I know that some don't realize how big it is that this happened but it is huge to be #1 lounge :) .This is something that a lot of us worked hard for and it was a long rough road but we did it.. We came along way but like I said it wasn't easy. Many times along the road there were days where we were ready to throw in the towel and say Fuk it! However, held off on it due to the fact that we knew how much this place meant to all those involved. I was at a restaurant a few weeks ago, and some woman just sat down next to me and started up a conversation. Today i went to the doctor. i didnt gain any weight WOOO HOOO. she says my baby is around 4 lbs and that they estimate she will be between 6.5- 7lbs when she is born. that makes me real happy. i was so scared i was gonna have to push out a 10lb baby. Some of you know that I had some serious testing done last week. 5 tests done over a 3 day period. Trying to find out what is causing some problems that I am having (seperate from my leg). I got a call from one doctor today letting me know that the test came back abnormal. I have to go back in the morning at 8:30 to see the doctor that ordered the tests and as soon as that appointment is over, I have to go to my family doctor to have more blood work done and to have more testing ordered. There is something about my job that is starting to break part of me down I think. I find myself being less tolerable of people who say and do what I think is stupid shit. Ok so today I was given a 100$ to spend, there were two rules to spending this money... 1. I had to spend all 100$ on me and 2. I was not allowed to pay bills with it either. I Miss Him

On a Saturday night several weeks ago, this pastor was working late, and decided to call his wife before he left for home. It was about 10:00 PM, but his wife didn't answer the phone. My Nephew

On Sunday December 12, 2010 I recieved a call at work from my mother.. "your father is going to the Hospital, he's having a heart attack. can you come home?" well of course i told my boss and such and went straight home. We went to the hospital and since sunday this is what happened. the doctors ran some tests (SOP) EKG, cat scan on sunday and had no answers. but dad did have another episode after the cat scan... Monday morning at 0530 dad had another episode. monday afternoon (late) he under went a Heart Catheterization. (lil history on dad - in 1974 he had a heart attack. in 1994 underwent a quadruple by-pass) 2 arteries were 100% blocked. 1 was only 99% blocked, the other was ok. doctors are going to attempt to open the (native artery) first.. if that doesnt work, then the by-pass artery in a second attempt. if that doesnt work they will use another artery for a complete by-pass operation.. the good thing is he didnt have a heart attack on sunday. heart muscle was good. all

The Holidays Without Our Baby
As it is with many other parents that have lost a pregnancy, infant or child, my sense of loss and emptiness returns and is a little more raw at this time of the year. This will be my first Christmas without this latest baby lost and and this will be my 8th Christmas since my first pregnancy loss in 1999. The first I lost didnt affect me as much as this one did but around the holidays I still was reminded. This year, I am reminded that I should now be 5 1/2 months pregnant and big as a house lol. It makes my heart hurt to think that I am not growing our baby and buying a few things for the baby for Christmas in anticipation for the babys arrival. This past Wednesday there was an ornament hanging for babies lost at the hospital...there will be an ornament hung for our baby for Christmases to come and we got an engraved ornament with the babys name and due date on it to take home so that we can remember the baby every Christmas. well i guess i should clarify why it is so great this guy is stayin in prison. some of my friends that dont know what is going on are reading my blogs which is great just need to let you all know what is going on. on feb 29 of 2004 my 20 month old son was killed by a guy that was watching him. in september of 2006 he was sentenced to 30 years in prison and immediately filed an appeal. so yes the notice the appeal got denied is great news. he killed my son and he needs to suffer for the rest of his life. ihope this lets ppl know more of what is going on.

I went into an animal shelter today. To see if I want to get another cat since mine died not to long ago. I saw lots of adorable cats, just none that struck my fancy. There was this one kitten that loved my daughter. It would follow her around like crazy. And although that was cute, I wanted to pick out a cat for me. Not my kids. My son is more into dogs it seems. Fudgey Brownie Trifle
1 package (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or crystals 2 eggs 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix 2 cups cold milk 1 bag (8 oz) toffee bits 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed 1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, oil, water, coffee granules and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan. 2. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. 3. Cut brownies into 1-inch squares. New Games, New Job, And A Fond Farewell For Now
It's that time again. The time when I realize I've been stuck somewhere too long. I needed a change, and picked up a new job. I don't have the info on where, exatly, but I know it's in Montana. I get to go home for a week before the job (sweeeeeeet.) Meanwhile, in Hickville, I've just gotten my bonus for being here 3 months. Whoopee.... Special Happy Hour
I have a HH set for 5pm PDT on Thurs. It's in honor of my friend's father who is battling non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer. They did a petscan last week and found out that the cancer had moved from around his spleen to his groin/neck. Needless to say he was upgraded from a Stage 2 to a Stage 3. This is very discouraging news to hear when you are about to do your first chemo treatments. And for the nay sayers, I know this won't fix anything, but it is definitely a coping mechanism for us. Thought y'all should read this in case you're thinking of installing an electric fence! We have the standard 6ft. fence in the backyard, and a few months ago, I heard about burglaries increasing dramatically in the entire city. To make sure this never happened to me, I got an electric fence and ran a single wire along the top of the fence. Actually, I got the biggest cattle charger Tractor Supply had, made for 26 miles of fence. I then used an 8 ft. long ground round, drove 7.5 feet into the ground. The ground rod is the key, with the more you have in the ground, the better the fence works. One day I'm mowing the back yard with my cheapo Walmart 6hp bigwheel pushmower. The hot wire is broken and laying out in the yard. I knew for a fact that I unplugged the charger. I pushed the mower around the wire and reached down to grab it, to throw it out of the way.
