Yep, been about a month since I blogged and am blaming the Edinburgh fringe. I know! I didn’t even do a show this year, for the first time since 2002 I never actually put on a comedy show, I merely hung out and boy was I surprised. Today sucked want to know why today sucked? My own brother STOLE from me today. lol... When talking to different folks on FU, sometimes it has come up in the conversations where I am asked, "How many FU bucks do you have?" I have been on this site since June the 24th of 2008, and I have tried to friend 2,078 fubarians of those only 1,596 have accepted. Ok. Here Goes.
When I first came back to the fu last night there were alot of people asking where I had been. Here is the story for those that want to know. Approximately 2 months ago I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Anyone that knows anything about this type of cancer knows the battle I face ahead of me. And if you don't there are plenty of places on the net that you can find information about it. New years eve I was in the emergency room and diagnosed with pancreatitis. It was a mild case and instead of admitting me the doctor put me on a liquid diet and sent me home. Two weeks later I made a trip to see my kids on the other side of the state. By the time I got there my gut was hurting so bad I could barely walk. I being me, figured I could take care of it myself and put myself back on the liquid diet. A couple days later I was in the hospital being fed intraveneously for 2 days. A visit to the cat-scan and some other tests revealed a "growth" on my pancreas. A few weeks ago I had a

I hate when people talk about committing suicide. Other than the obvious reason that I don't want someone that I care about to die it irks me to hear that they have nothing to live for. Lets see Just graduated a leadership course. It was my second course as I did one in the Air force aswell. I finished with a 96.82% avg during the 10 test three week course. Not the best but above average. Other then that unless i extend a year, I'll be moving out again in about 9 months to another lcoation. We each have fond memories, a cute story or something that is Halloween related. Share it here. Lets take a minute to stop and share with the people we call friends. I guess my favorite Halloween memory would be a costume party I went to a number of years ago. I was working as a school bus driver for the county school district here and the drivers were for the most part a family. We made plans to do many things together. One of the drivers had a nice sized piece of land and had set up a huge haunted maze. It was incredible. She and her family spent weeks putting it all together. There is no funny story no punchline just a memory that I find myself reflecting on every year. Kinda like the neighbor that sets up a halloween haunted house for all the trick or treaters every year. OK so my Birthday was yesterday and as usual it was boring. Dinner with the family. That's it. Just once I'd like to go out drinking or whatever. Well I decided to clean out my friends folder, for a few reasons. I have removed people from my friends list that I have never spoke too or who are not valid members or who have simply gone away. I still feel I might have more removing to do but we will see how this goes for now. I will make this story short. Our second child was a miscarriage, or so the doctor said. At about two months along. The doctor preformed a DNC. A few months later, my wife was not losing weight. She went back to see the doctor, and she was still pregnant. He is 18 now. In 1996, my wife had a miscarriage, and again she gave birth to a surviving twin. In 1999, she had a tubule pregnancy, this of course required surgery. The doctor found a “growth” on the healthy tube, and removed it. This, of course, effectively sterilized her. What is so interesting is that the OB/GYN in Illinois who checker her out in 2000, said that his examination did not match the notes form the doctor who preformed the surgery in Texas. Well, I survived Thursday night's class.. today was the riding portion, then class work this afternoon... The Funeral Service
A young minister was asked by a funeral director in Lawton to hold a graveside service for a homeless man, with no family or friends, who had died while traveling through south-central Oklahoma. My Health
So i wake up in the morning with an infection so i make a docs appointment for the evening i get there and they take my blood pressure... it was 160/120 They were freaking out. I told them my meds to sleep gives me a slightly higher blood pressure and the doc jsut doubled the dose. So now im being forced to take a beta blocker to get my blood pressure down, so it makes me dizzy then onm top of that i have the meds for the infection, and then my sleeping pills.. How the fuck am i supposed to start my grad work with all this shit in my system....FUCK the doc kept telling me stories of people who died of heart attacks....

I knew Jack for a number of years both on and off the ice. I can remember going to shinny games early and he and I would sit there against the glass watching the mites practice. Jack would have a gleam in his eye making him look so much younger than his age. We would sit there and tell jokes (most of them dirty) or a group of us would just listen to him talk of past playing days. His stories were always lucid and vivid, and so god damn funny. Jack Molt played hockey in 7 decades. But to hear him talk abut it, you could never tell. Dispite failing health he continued to lace the boots because it was his passion for the game that kept him young at heart. Sitting in those rink lobbies soaking up each story like a sponge was some of the best things about shinny hockey and I dearly miss that. I am not a religious man; but if there is a heaven, then I can see Jack, young and vibrant, sitting with Jesus telling hom story after story of his playing days with our pro team at the time. It rained here all day today. I took my son out and walked in it. We jumped in puddles and kicked water at one another. My son never seen the tears that fell freely from me. The rained cried with me today. Allowed me to weep in public for all to see, yet no one knew. It was if the sky's opened up for me today to allow me to cry unnoticed. My brother is the town sprem donor and I have several nephews and a niece I try to see and take care of as often as possible. Well I just found out my nephew (who is 2) just climbed out his brothers window and went to the neighbors house to pet their dog.
