A Thought On My Least Favorite Place
I live in a place many many hundreds of miles away from the rotten apple, I moved for many reasons, but being further away from there is just an extra added benefit for me. The ecoterrorist group PETA has taken offense at Wimbledon's practice of shooting pigeons to remove the flying rats from the grounds. Apparantly the birds are all over, and they took to having sharpshooters pluck them one by one from the storied event. Instead, they have released two trained hawks, who go around and chase away and bully the pigeons into submission. Living in the country, I understand that it is way more humane to get ripped apart by a bird of prey then a pellet thru the skull. Apparantly bird on bird violence is approved by PETA. So almost 2 years ago I lost my best friend to cancer...It Struck Unexpectedly,Quickly...She was gone before I knew it and before I could accept it. It was my grandmother, a woman who had alot to do with my upbringing. She was my best friend in this whole entire world. Someone who I could go to for ANYTHING...Me and her had a connection that most of the family did not have, lets just say that caused alot of jealousy from my family for this...anyways...she was diagnosed july 5th 2006 (which happens to be today)...she had the surgery Aug 16th and then lost her battle oct. 16th. Its been hell these past 2 years without her. Its been almost 2 years that I have not regained my faith......... So I met this amazing guy on here. We totally hit it off, got along really well, talked online for a few months and then..... Some background my be helpful here. He is stationed in Iraq. A Word About My Current State Of Health
Greetings, As some of you know I was diagnosed with kidney cancer 6 years ago, had a kidney taken out, and went through a years worth of chemo. Fast forward 5 years and it seems that the chemo severely damaged my remaining kidney. It appears that I am also faced with the beginning stages of kidney failure in the next few years. Right now I am on a strict diet that has cut out 99% of protein as that affects kidney function. As far as life span Ive been told anywhere between 5-30 years so who the fuck knows lol. Personally Im not all that concerned about it. If I die tomorrow or 65 years from now so be it. I dont fear death (came to terms with that during cancer).

My Day From Hell
Yesterday was OFFICIALLY a day from hell. It was that bad that even sitting here talking about it makes me want to cry. Where to start.... The kids refused to take a nap yesterday so I had them in their room and closed the door and told Lois to quit screaming or mommy would smack her mouth. I hate contradictions. And YES I know we ALL have them. I'm well aware that at times we all feel it might be okay for us to do something but wrong for others to do it. Another New Interview And What To Wear?
Okay so two new things, well one not so new. I received another request to interview a band. Yay! It's The Last Vegas, they won a Guitar Center contest, chosen by Motley Crue, receiving money, equipment and a recording deal with MC's label. i don't know, i think my bipolar meds aren't working anymore. Usually when i take it, i'm fine and even after it wears off, i never stay depressed. But now it seems every night when it wears off i get super-depressed. The meds that i'm taking now come in generic, so it could be that is part of the problem. or it could be that i'm just bummed out of my mind and lonely as hell. it could be a combo of those. whatever it is i don't know how much longer i can take it. I gotta see my psychiatrist again and figure out what the hell is going on. it sucks not being able to hang out with anybody out here also. i tried hanging out with some guys at my work, but no one showed up or told me what was going on. It just feels like nobody even cares anymore. it seems that people just ignore me nowadays, or they refuse to understand what it's like to suffer from mental disorders. Cholesterol Addiction
People have vices. Some take drugs, some drink, some indulge in other forms of debauchery. One of my major vices is an addiction to cholesterol. No matter how hard I try I can't stay away from unhealthy food. Before I started working I was able to eat whatever I wanted with impunity. I played a couple of hours of badminton every day, attended 3 or 4 kung fu classes a week and walked everywhere. Different situation now. No time for physical activity and junk food has become an easy source of recreation. But I think its time to do something about it now. Anyone else had this problem? Any advice?

Seperation Anxiety
At 530 am I will be taking my son to drop him off to head for Basic training. He didn't leave early on the 5th as we thought he may. His recruiter misinformed him. Needless to say I have mixed emotions. I am excited for he is about to go embark on a new experience, one that is going to be good for him. But I am also scared for him. No communication for weeks, OMG! I know he will be just fine. I just gotta let him go. I gotta break free and not try and pick up the pieces, ya know. He is the only child. So that's my baby. That also means I'll be all alone. OMG! What the hell!! He'll be back though so it isn't as if it is forever. But I do hope it is the beginning of his own life. In the hustle and bustle of things, it's hard to stay in or keep a perspective.
