My Thanksgiving!
Hi all I hope your Thanksgiving was a good and safe one! We had a great day! We ended up having it here at my house. I made turkey, stuffing, gravy, rolls, sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes, and my mom brought pecan, and pumpkin pie, and my brother brought steamed broccoli. We had a good time chatting and eating good food. My older brother and his wife came by and spent some time with everyone. It was nice to see them even for a little bit. They are going to be adopting a baby very, very soon! They are adopting a baby from a young mother who has a baby of 1 year old, and is pregnant again. The last time they talked she had gone to the hospital 3 times due to pain. She is having false labor pains and is dilated to a 2! So it could be any day!!!! She isn't due til Dec. 18th, but hopefully it will be sooner. I will keep you posted! I have gotten the boys in S.A.C. which is an after school care program, like daycare but through the school, until 6pm so that means that I can get a job outs

Rockband Rocks
So last night we finally got the game "Rockband". And it ROCKS!! We were up to 3am playing. You have to play the drums, guitar and sing. You start a band, go on tour, have to get fans and points,etc. I love it. It's similar to Guitar Hero, just with the added instuments. OK thats it...I think I'm going to go brush up on my guitar skillz....I suck at the drums...lmao.

Salutes
Not to bash Fubar, but I think that everyone no matter if they have a VIP or not should be required to have a salute. Too many ppl are making false accounts to satisfy some insane need to stalk ppl. The salutes verify who the ppl are and to show that they are real people. If they get to buy VIP's to skip this step how is anyone to se if they are who they say they are. This is just my thoughts and I still will not add ya b/c u are at a level 150 without a salute unless I know u. K, have had my say am jumping off the soap box and decorating again. RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 14 tbsp. butter, melted 2 cups sugar, divided 1/3 cup molasses 1 large egg, lightly beaten 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the melted butter, 1 cup of the sugar and the molasses. Beat in the egg. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, stirring until a soft dough is formed. 3. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls, then roll each ball in the remaining sugar. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

Dont You Know When You Had A Bad Day When?
I really had a bad today..I argued with my mom about my pastor who calls me every day of the week. I just need the space and I feel like the guy is smothering me. Really I just started going back to church after 13 year absence. All of a sudden He was asking if I like to sing :/ Ok I dont like getting in front of people and doing anything like that right now. I cant find a simple way and say No. I just feel uncomfortable right now So I turned my phone off. I dont think I want to go to church tomorrow and I want to stay home.I'm just not feeling right. Child Support
i have recently been free of child support for the first time in over 20 years. i have no problem supporting my children. however, i am against supporting my ex-wifes drinking habit. my son never had clothes for school or shoes for his feet but she would take my 135.00 support check to the bar and cash it. she would remain there till the bar closed. comeing home with no money from that child support check. my son was always hungry when he came to visit. my idea to end abuse of child support is to issue a card only good for food or clothes. that way the money is going where it should be. to the child. there is way too much power and corruption in the child support racket. i say a nation wide revamping is seriously needed. remember. absolute power is absolute corruption absolutely. courts should only get involved in extreme cases. suchas, dead-beat parents. otherwise let the voters decide on a fair and just way of getting child support to the child not the parent.

I'm Never Going To Have A Pair Of Pants Fit Me Again...
Or at least that is what it feels like... I am about tired already of holding my britches up as I walk-- or having them fall down and my undies exposed as I am going up or down the stairs.... While it is nice to pull down my britches and not undo them-- I do get tired of pulling them up all the time.... Wow. Last night was my homeboy Ian's 21st b-day party. It was a fun night, till I made a big drunken mistake, lol. Everybody was chillin, watchin beer pong, talkin it up, ya know. I guess I can write whatever the hell I want in here because no one can see alerts for things their friends post any more and so there's a good chance I'll be writing this to myself. It's a flawed system but it's all we got. Nature is that way, which is why it's so beautiful. Almost everything is constantly adapting to it's environment and working with it's non-perfections. Imagine a dear poised perfectly without a hair out of place or a muscle flexed in preparedness. If I were photographing it I would wait for something to happen. They Can't Get Anything Right
The Weather Channel is predicting a snowfall today of 2 to 4 inches. I think they are grossly underestimating that .... again! There was about 2 inches of snow on the ground at 9AM and it has been coming down pretty heavy and steady all day. Unless it is melting that fast (which I doubt since it is 30 degrees right now) we are probably going to me more in the neighborhood of 6 inches. Timefor The Trip

Not Same This Year

Well, Christmas is finally done for 2007, and 2008 is already getting ready to pay a visit. News That Is Good And Bad
Ok. Today is the 13th so I guess I should update everyone on what is going on. First of all, I took the pregnancy test on the 11th and it showed up a faint positive. The problem occured yesterday. I started spotting and fearing the worst, I had Erick take me into the hospital. Well, they did not tell me that I was having a miscarriage. They told me that the blood pregnancy test came back negative. At leat it did not come back saying that I was going through a miscarriage. That made me feel a little better. The problem is that I was so excited about the thought of having another baby. Erick was also excited, but was relieved to hear that I did not go through a miscarriage. He also proposed on the 11th. Rack Of Lamb With Caramelized Shallots And Thyme Crust
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil 3 large shallots, chopped (about 1/2 cup) Salt and freshly ground black pepper 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup pulverized fresh bread crumbs 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves or 2 teaspoons dried thyme, crumbled 1 rack of lamb (7 or 8 ribs), frenched, at room temperature, trimmed of as much fat as possible 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a small skillet, heat oil over moderate heat until hot but not smoking and cook shallots with salt and pepper, stirring, until golden, about 5 minutes. Add vinegar and boil until liquid is evaporated. Remove skillet from heat and stir in bread crumbs and thyme. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Season lamb with salt and pepper. My Fight For Survival
I would like to take this time to let people in on what happen to me once. I was over in Iraq and we had a little free time so I was not going to give it up and wanted to take some pictures. One of my buddies told me to get on the gun and look over at the cam so that he could take the picture. After the flash went off all I heard was three shots being fired that sounded like slow motion. Without anytime passing by it felt like I was being stabbed in the right side and next thing I knew I was falling over. Serves 4 / Saltimbocca literally means "jump into the mouth," an apt description for this flavorful Italian entrée. 4 4-ounce boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness 4 very thin slices proscuitto or lean ham 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese 2 egg whites, lightly beaten 1/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour Sage Pesto 1/2 cup fresh sage 1/2 tablespoon pine nuts 1 small clove garlic 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese 1. Another Summer Day
It was a gorgeous summer day, perfect for a picnic in the park. We had planned on meeting in the main parking lot, before noon, and spending the day in a secluded spot near the river. It wasn't long before I saw you pull into the lot, and I ran over to you to greet you. It had been so long since we'd been together, I couldn't wait to be in your arms. My Health: I'm Okay.
No worries. The ultrasound came up clear. My blood tests are mostly back to normal now. I'm gonna get back on my bcp's to regulate my hormones and... the doctor wanted to do a catscan, but I've had two in the last two years... as well as MRIs and what have you... dangerously high amount of radiation to be exposed to.... and she wanted to do another laparoscopy and I was like... I had that done in 2004 or 2005..... and yeah.... I'm hoping everything comes together the way it needs to. Hopefully the pain subsides and the symptoms fade. Thanks for your prayers. I'm close to back to haunting the eff out of yous. I gotta go. I have LOTS of errands to run tomorrow.... er today. Yeah.

While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone)was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When Does It Stop

Update To Something Else For Me To Think About
For the full background on what is going, read my previous blog entry. Here's the update: I spoke with my Brigade CSM before I talked to my S-3 or S-3 SGM. I went to him first for a reason, because if I went to the others first and asked permission, and they said ok, but the CSM said no, it was pointless. If I spoke to him first, got his approval, he could help me get approval from the S-3 and SGM. CSM said that I had actually thought it out quite well, asked me how it would affect home, and I explained it would be a little bit more beneficial because I would be able to save the money, and let the Army pay to fly me home on leave, thus allowing me to better enjoy the time with my kids and try to do something really special with the time. Even if it is just renting a cabin in the woods for a week or taking them fishing, the stuff that they and I will remember for our lives. That and if I go back stateside for 9 months, and deploy, it would probably be worse on us all than i

Jamie Lynn Spears is reported to have had a little girl. Maddie Briann was 7lb 11oz and healthy. This information came from an unnamed friend of the "actress". So now the new Spears watch starts.
